I've been inside that same ogombo too around 2am in 2019. Menh, I risked my life those days o. The naive me them. Won't try same now sha pope191: I don't think Badore is bad during the day, drivers just have to know when to put their lives first or risk the 800k. Life should always supersede dashboard, I'll never forget the day I was on a trip around 1am deep inside Ogumbo road... it is well. |

I read in the Punch today that another pilot was hacked to death at Badore, Ajah . I just wonder why some drivers are still risking their lives going to some bad spots. Even for daylight, I ve decided to stop going to some areas. I hope we all can apply this method too.
Bolt or uber doesn't care that much about us. So, no be by force to go on that trips even if they appear juicy. Drivers, make una wise up nah. Remember, problem no dey finish o. You not fit solve all in a day. Peace. |

I've told him to report to Bolt. No shaking. I actually asked for price review from Bolt which I believe their system must have noted. They already reversed the amount to 7k on the app. I guess reason he is making an issue out of it. izzou: Ohh
There's nothing to do. He should report to Bolt and EFCC.
Next time, don't settle for less. Collect your complete money as e dey hot
Bolt already removed their comission from #11,200 The guy sef dey insist say na 12k you collect
Yet na 7k you collect |

No. The guys had earlier given me wrong impression about the trip. Firstly, he didn't indicate the address both for pick up and drop off. He just put Lekki Phase 1 on th app as drop off. I had to struggle to get part of the address as he didn't give the street eventually. On getting to the estate gate, I called several times before another guy picked his call and gave the description of the drop off. Since the lady said the 2 girls were brought for her and insisted she was the one paying, I didn't bother calling the guy again. izzou: Did you call the guy when the lady was refusing to pay the fare? |

Guys, see me se wahala o. A guy made a request for 2 girls coming from Ajuwon axis to Lekki Phase 1 yesterday. It took me around 50 mins waiting before the girls showed up. I waited that long cos it was a destination trip as well as on 1.9 surge. Trip ended 11, 200. The guy didn't show up. I saw a lady who came to get the girls. She said the amount was too much and that she was the one to pay. After back and forth, she asked for my account number. She said she had done the trqnsfer but I didn't see it. She later gave me cash of 7k. I asked for price review and it was approved. I was surprised to hear from the guy today that I collected 12k from the girl whereas the amount was showing 7k on his app. I tried explaining what happened but he wouldn't listen. He kept threatening that he would report me to Bolt. I ve told him to go ahead. I still have the screenshot of the original amount of 11200. I've shared it with him but he is not listening to my explanation. What else do you advise? |

As we are about starting a new year Rules to know.
Co pilot.
Let me go straight to the point.
Rule 1. Don't go for another ride when you have not seen the money for the one you just finished, even if the person transferred. Wait for the money. No matter how small it is.
Rules 2. Only have a friendly talk with your client; don't do him any friendly favor by lending him money even if he needs to buy breath to be alive. Many not some, many are scam.
Rule 3. If a rider drops from the car and says he is coming, it is either he drops his phone and you see the phone is working or you also come down from the car and follow him or her with style. It is not safe also you seat in the car; come out of the car and move away from the car. Only if the person is inside his or her house you play smart.
Rule 4. When a rider tells you let me buy something in a shopping mall, please pilot, come down from the car, enter the mall to pretend as if you want to buy water and make sure you move around MORE with your phone inside the mall so that it will be counting.
Rule 5. If possible don't be too friendly focus on your job. He who will bless you will bless you.
Rule 6. Don't lend your client phone to make call to his boyfriend or girl friend...never.
Rule 7. Always don't be in a rush to drop call after making or receiving call from the rider. Listen carefully to the background. Sometimes you will hear the last conversation if they want to scam or rob you. Learn to listen to your mind whether to go and pick the client or not not to go.
Rule 8. Learn to keep a pen in your pocket and small screw driver beside you in the car. The pen in the pocket is better. It is a weapon for you. Don't put screw in your pocket it will be obvious. Believe me. Pilot, keep pen in your pocket.
Rule 9. We all are sinners. Yes! It all depends on you who you are. If you are a Muslim, pray before you drive and a Christian pray before you drive and after you have finished driving for the day.
Rule 10. Be strong Be Alert Be smart.
Copied and edited. Have a prosperous 2021. |

kanuisagoat: A rider reported one of you to me today.
Said the guy dropped her, she now booked him to take her friend somewhere, end the trip and come back to pick her.
The driver refused and told her to book him from the point of dropping off her friend or he keeps the trip running till he comes back for her.
Said she was furious and just told him to get lost because he's very greedy. I don't know if that driver is here but if you are, may God bless you abundantly.
Together, we will reorientate these our riders. |
