@Gabon, We Akure applicants are earnestly waiting for your schedule for our location. Thank you! |
Please can someone help with the soft copy of the entrance test past question urgently?? |
I subscribed for the Airtel 3 days plan for N200 but it is 2 + 1 subscription as stated. Does this means it will last for 6 days? |
See this is it guy, you borrowed 100K( 50K from Dad + 50K from Mum) = 100K You bought a shirt worth 97K and you returned 1K each to dad and mum. i.e 1K + 1 K = 2K (Returned Money) so the total Expenses from you now is; Shirt - 97K Returned Money- 2K Total- 99K so the missing 1K is with you pal. In other words, since u returned 1K each back to Dad and Mum, this implies that you borrowed 49K from each and 49K + 49K = 98K and the cloth cost 97K. So the remaining 1K is with you. @Op, i believe this makes it clearer to you. |
Alright OP, let me explain in a more conspicuous way... |
crazy deal! |
@Op, see my explanation; 1.) You borrow 100K total (50K from dad + 50K from mum) 2.) You spent 97K to buy the cloth 3.) You payed back 2K (1K to dad + 1K to mum) 4.) This makes your remaining debt to be 98K. Remember you have 1K ylto yourself already. Now because of the extra 1K you kept, the trick was that the 49K + 49K was the debt (you already paid 1K + 1K ) and the 1K is no longer part of the debt, it is for you. So you can now say, 49K + 49K + 2K you paid back earlier= 100K |
Before you go ahead with your planned strike, i will advise you try to know why there is a delay and more importantly, most Nairalanders you are bringing your case to don't have the knowledge that could help in this kind of matter when it is not Tonto Dikeh or Jonathan. I'll rather advice you to seek proper legal advice before going on because if the suit isn't successful at the end which i don't pray for you.... na you go tell us the rest. Goodluck Mate! |

I want to use this medium to appreciate AIRTEL NG and wonderful Nairalanders especially Benzion for your sincere efforts toward the issue i brought up as per my airtime evaporation and i say i am greatful! After much aggressive complaints forwarded to various contacts of AIRTEL NG (customer care line, representatives' e-mails, AIRTEL on Facebook & Twitter), my recharge has now been 'partially' refunded. N700 was refunded back to my main account at about 4:30pm on Wednesday, 28th August which is diplomatically understandable owning to the claim that i have already used out of the bonus although i would have been overwhelmed if the whole sum (N1400) is refunded because; 1.) I intend to use it for my Blackberry Internet Subscription (BIS) before the mishap. 2.) The great inconvinience this has caused me (i don't need to start explaining this) 3.) And also based on what i was told at the start by the first representative. However, AIRTEL in me has sniffed and awake! I do hope it will be active in its lifetime with me. This will be dependent on the quality of service delivery i enjoy from AIRTEL. Nonetheless, i must say the AIRTEL service is rated average by me and above the yellow and green networks. I must not stop this piece of appreciation without reminding you of the #AndroidPhoneUsersDemandFairness quest currently on and also let you understand that you can boost your customer base if you bring up an affordable & equitable data plans 'first' for Android users as it is now lucid that Android phones are taking over the phone market in Nigeria and beyond. Thanks once again and its my pleasure choosing AIRTEL! |
Hello guys, i felt i should carry you along in my #ReclaimRecharge fight. As suggested by Benzion, i contacted all the address given and i was called by one of their agent who apologized and once again promised to help on the reversal but it will be 50% reversal since i already used out of it; still waiting tho... As per contacting the CEO/MD of AIRTEL, Segun Ogunsanya, i realized i would need to upgrade my LinkedIn account before i can send him a message which i don't mind doing if they refuse to refund my money in the current approach. Also then, i will carry NCC and other relevant media bodies along. |
thanks guys...am considering all yor options |

benzion72: This is a simple problem write an official email to their customer care line and tell them you will shout on the top of your voice toI sent a mail to their email ( customercare.ng@airtel.com) i got a rebound mail, its like that e-mail is not functioning and thats the only contact e-mail i've got. |
I am writing this to express my disappointment and sadness from AIRTEL NG over their unexplained message that cost me a great inconvinience and huge loss. It was a great and promising evening on Sunday, 25th August, 2013. When i came back from church, i went to a nearby shop to get AIRTEL recharge cards worth N1600 and i intend to use it to renew my Blackberry Internet Subscription(BIS). So i loaded the airtime, no sooner i got a text message from AIRTEL which reads thus " Recharge up to N700 today to enjoy 200% bonus. Simply recharge, dial *234*700# and get immediately credited with N2100 worth of calls, SMS & data for 3 days." I was like wao! this number portability has brought great advantages to Nigerians as there are increased competition admist these telecommunication companies to keep their customers by offering them mouth-watering bonuses. I immediately dailed the given code twice and i checked my balance to view my alledged bonus, lo and behold, N1400 has been wiped away from my balance and i saw beneath one useless Talktime balance of N4200. I was like why would they remove my airtime or betterstill convert my airtime to bonus instead of just crediting me with bonus? I was very naive and angry at this point because i knew i got the money i used for this recharge not saving the fact i am a student that has been condemned to boredom at home, all thanks to ASUU & FG. At this point, i picked up my cell and called the customer care line, that took an annoying 9.45 minutes before they answered my call. I lodged my complain to the lady that spoke with me and she told me my airtime will be reversed that i should be calm. She told me it should take them 24 hours to do that but because that day was Sunday, it might take a bit longer and she warned me not to attempt to use any of the bonus as that could stall the reversal. I was like wonderful! i have finally landed on the best network that understands the feeling of their customers. After 24 hours, i checked my balance and it was still same story. I pulled call through to the customer care, that took another disgusting 23 minutes before a guy picked it up and i explained the whole thing to him. He said he could see that on his system and said that my case is still worked upon as the initial representative told me and he said i should exercise a little patience. Hmmm, i don't have a choice tho. Now today at about 3:00pm, my airtime is yet to be reversed and according to the talktime ish, it expires the next day because it is a three days plan. I called the Customer Care again and this time, the representative told me he could see it but unfortunately, my case cannot be worked upon! my heart beat fast this time having relied on what i was told before that my money will be refunded. I was like, why didn't the first lady tell me this for the past 2 days and i would have seen what to do with iy but now its late.... It is a ver big regret ever picking my AIRTEL sim to use and as i write this, i am waiting for the next few hours when the whole thing will be wiped off! I have no one to tell my story and that is why i share it with Nairalanders and perhaps any of their agents see this and do something that could revive AIRTEL in me! |
