Animalistic in our thinking and behaviour, though higher animals we may be but our desire for wealth and power creates a path only for gladiators to thread with a winner takes all disposition!

PoliticsRe: Who Is Afraid Of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo? By Dele Momodu by Day169: 9:50pm On Sep 21, 2019
..see the lazy posters above who find it difficult to read and digest the interesting article to draw attention to the shenanigans going on in the presidency. Una go wait tire 4 summary tongue
I'd like to agree with Mr Momodu's closing remarks, bringing to light "life's constant", that man only proposes but God disposes and at best he plays god only for a little while.
May His will be done.
Thank you.
Car TalkRe: Benin City Residents & Their Obsession For Audi 80! by Day169: 8:21pm On Sep 20, 2019
I'll hazard a guess..
A cars popularity soars when usually, there's a mechanic who understands its workings and can source for the parts readily.
The advice and recommendations he gives to his customers gives them a reassurance on the car's reliability and the word spreads around.
Secondly the mechanic's apprentices in turn become competent in handling the car further increasing it's dependability among residents of the community.
This accounts for certain cities identifying with a particular brand.
.. my 2 kobo! cool
PoliticsRe: Mj's Hit Song They Dont Care About Us Is Applicable To Nigerians by Day169: 9:07am On Sep 20, 2019
Very applicable I'd say.
Nigeria which was a union of ethnic groups is now that of two strange bed fellows.. The political class and the masses.
The political class are like "Men from Mars" while the masses are "Women from Venus", two extremes, one very greedy and the other, too docile.
They really don't care about us.
PoliticsRe: Why Our Members Deserve Brand New Suvs – Senate by Day169:
TRIGITIS:
It is not about whether or not your members deserve brand new SUVs, indeed, you all deserve official jets each. The issue is that 5.5b for just your cars is too much for a country still negotiating 30k minimum wage. undecided
Let's put some perspective to this..
N5.5 billion is the monthly salary of 180,000 minimum wage earners!
..now tell me, in what way could this expenditure impact the lives of these people? undecided
PoliticsRe: Why Our Members Deserve Brand New Suvs – Senate by Day169: 2:47pm On Sep 19, 2019
This just proves that members of the Nigerian Senate and indeed the political class are like "men from mars", far detached from reality.
In an attempt to defend their greed and lust for endless wealth, this senator has made reference to "junketing" ministers who travel in convoys of expensive SUV's.
So there seems to be a race to which group of politicians can squander our lean resources the quickest.
How pathetic our situation is.
This shows that there's barely any hope for responsible leadership in the horizon.
Nigeria we hail thee!

Car TalkRe: Why Are There So Many Nigeria Used Toyota Corolla And Camry For Sale by Day169: 12:44am On Sep 18, 2019
chosen124:
Why are there so many Nigeria used Toyota corolla and Camry for sale or are Nigerians getting tired of these models of Toyota?.
That's because over the years, four out of five cars imported into the country have either been Corollas or Camrys. And so naturally, over time most cars put up for sale will be either of the two.
