Onyocha: [b]can't deduce if you're making sense yet. But you should know that even enemies do have common goals sometimes. In the syria crisis, alqueda is supporting the rebels, while hezbollah rallies around assad;but that does not mean both groups are not working towards targeting anything and anyone that has ties with isreal and the west. |
Hahaha. . . Little wonder africa is been sleeping. |

Nice one! Some governors are true administrators of their respective states. . .while some are just ok being mere politicians, and those are the ones often distracted and caught-up in the political whirl - wind stirred from abuja. For progressives like fashola, it is more of governance and less politics. |
Super1759: caught 50, killed 25, many hideouts discovered, yet no pictures,no videosi'll be willing to give you a video camera and sponsor your trip to borno. |
The idea of a violent state being responsible for the funding of SOE was a good idea. All other states shouldn't suffer their govenor's inability to maintain peace and security. SOE should only be funded by FG during natural disasters which is an "act of god",not violence and insecurities mostly caused and popularized by the ruling class that swore to secure its people. |
Bad egg! |
Rubbish.. This are ordinary people doing maiguard jobs.. If you stay up north you'll know, that most maiguards are from niger.. Go after the people that matter.
naive! These people can be lured easily into being terrorists. Launch an attack here, and easily cross back the porous border to their country. A lot of the bh members are not nigerians, but illegal aliens from neighbouring countries. |
Claiming victory over the nigerian army, yet calling for help from other islamists in iraq and pakistan. . . Hell bent loser! |

automaticcarzz: I have been living in the U.S since year 2001. I will be returning home when there is 24hr power supply. When there is good road network. When police are able to respond to calls within 5 minutes. When there is emergency health and fire response squad that respond to emergency within 5 minutes. When there is rule and order. When the police stop brutalizing the people they suppose to protect. When there is true democrcy. When the President stops harassing political opponents. When there is adequate security of lives and properties.then you never coming home. . And they say "home is where you find it". |
Rehnoy: Retard! so chesick needed somebody who would go to war anytime he gets beaten by a better teami don't follow. . . take a long sigh, and come again? |
Rehnoy: That AWKWARD moment when MOURINHO was waiting for Man utd to come save him from real madrid, man utd just walks past him and straight to moyes. The poor mourinho had no other choice than to join his second choice chelsick. WE MAN UTD ain't meant for big erratic losers. Do u copybullocks! Man u wanted someone who would't mind reporting to fergie, while he continually be his protege. Jose does not belong to such class! |
Sharp D: @posterThen are you saying clubs like barcelona, madrid, juve e.t.c had done well in european competitions than chelsea did? Because chelsea only won the "loser's throphy" while the aforementioned were close to winning the CL? Do you realise chelsea 'll deservely play whoever clinge the CL later? Clubs like man u,barca, and madrid would have love to do that even as europa champion. |
It is not too much or out of place to credit the current administration in oyo state. For a state that was grossly neglected, and perpetually denied basic social infrastructures for years, one should give kudos to this present government for its fearlessness in causing change that is so much needed, knowing that a good number of the populace might hold grudges because of the sudden realities such adjustments brings in terms of temporary hardship. The past administration did not embark on such massive transformations because they'll rather pretend it had "human face",neglecting the social and infrastructural decadence for its political gains, because they felt the people were not ready for change. They didn't want to step on toes in their quest for a drastic social transformation that'll benefit all later. |
So selling oranges can be very lucrative¿ |
One doesn't have to be ignorant and desperate in exercising faith. . .evil will take advantage of such. The healing they desired is not in the "holy water",but in the measure of their individual faith. Definately, not everyone of them would be heal even after swimming in the "holy water." But there's someone outhere who had gotten his own healing just by following the same service on the tv by faith. |

Nigeria army's offensive to continue "as long as it takes" 19 May 2013 Last updated at 04:57 Nigeria's army has vowed to continue its offensive against militants in the north-east "as long as it takes" to achieve its main objectives. Brig Gen Chris Olukolade told theBBC the aim was to assert Nigeria's "territorial integrity as a nation". Earlier, a 24-hour curfew was imposed in parts of the city of Maiduguri, where the military said it had arrested 65"terrorists". Maiduguri has been an important base for Boko Haram Islamist militants. Earlier this week, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency inthree north-eastern states - Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe - after a series of deadly attacks by militant groups. Nigerian military spokesman Brig Gen Olukolade said the army would continue its operation "as long as it takes to achieve our objective of getting rid of insurgents from every partof Nigeria". He told the BBC World Service Newshour programme that the offensive "knows the targets it isafter, and it took a long time to plan and prepare for this". "It is their (insurgent) bases, their weaponry, their logistics that we are going to deal with inthis operation," he added. Earlier, an army statement named 12 areas of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, which would now be under permanentcurfew. Correspondents say the neighbourhoods listed are considered strongholds of Boko Haram. The whole of Maiduguri was already subject to an overnight curfew. Witnesses said troops were stopping lorries from entering the city. The army also said the 65 insurgents had been arrested trying to infiltrate Maiduguri. Those held had been "fleeing from various camps now under attack". However, there has been no independent confirmation of thearrests. The army said 10 suspected insurgents were killed in clasheswith troops in Maiduguri on Friday and weapons were seizedincluding rocket-propelled grenade launchers. Nigerian war planes and helicopter gunships also attacked several militant trainingcamps in the north-east on Friday, officials said. One plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire but officials saidit had returned to base safely while the "terrorist base" was"completely destroyed". US Secretary of State John Kerry has urged the Nigerian army to show restraint and not violate human rights as it pursues the militants. Mr Kerry said there were"credible allegations" of "gross human rights violations" by the Nigerian military. Last November, Amnesty International accused Nigeria's security forces of carrying out widespread abuses in their campaign against Boko Haram, including extra-judicial killings, enforced disappearances and torture. The BBC has also received reports of civilians fleeing remote areas in Borno State and arriving in towns on the border with Cameroon. Cameroon shares hundreds of miles of border with Nigeria andthe area adjacent to Borno is considered porous. Although Cameroon's security forces have stepped up security in the region, a source told French radio that the government in Yaounde had been given no advance warning of the Nigerian campaign. More than 2,000 people have died in violence in Nigeria since 2010, most of which is blamed on Boko Haram. The group, whose name means"Western education is forbidden", says its quest is to overthrow the Nigerian government and create an Islamic state. There has been growing concern that Boko Haram is receiving backing from al-Qaeda-linked militants in other countries. http://bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-22584765 |
Otenestbestyaho: Why will they arrest 65 boko haram members? Any boko haram cought should be shot at eye sight, d jtf should search all the mosques, weapons are stored their by mallams and buhari. meanwhile ISLAM A BAD is the capital of pakistanIt beats me hollow how some are living without having a mind of their own to decide what's wrong or right. No amount of hate preached should be capable of turning humans to beasts, embarking on a rused mission without personal investigations. At least one have the exclusive right to ponder at such suggestions, knowing right from left before embarking on a rookus quest of killing people because some well- placed criminals said it. Are some humans so lazy to think first about such commands? Computers even sometimes disobey commands! |
Just brace yourself. |
