PoliticsRe: Is Aba A Reflection Of What Biafra Would Have Been? by daylae(m): 11:53am On Sep 30, 2010
@phantom I understand your predicaments, and i sympathize with you and your comrades;but you shoundn't come out, all-sentimental about honest comments being made here, just to correct someon's wrong insistent. Maybe if you guys stop the animosity towards your own kinds, this thread would av been intented for the total opposite of what you're seeing now. Just bear with it!

I just also need to put to you that, even though i did mention ibadan is not going at the pace it should be,it can still afford to slumber a century, while the east will never meet-up due to the level of lawlessness, and total extintion of human value we are having there. Nothing good can take place where there's no peace!
PoliticsRe: Is Aba A Reflection Of What Biafra Would Have Been? by daylae(m): 11:06am On Sep 30, 2010
^Even before lagos had any taste of infrastructural development, ibadan was the capital of the whole western region, and various phaset of developmental projects were embarked upon in the city. The city almost had the first in everything -bridges,first university, radio and tv station, the best general hospital, and so on. Infact, the city was the bed-rock,that everyone from other part of the country had to go there to be on the lime-light. Almost every successful nigerians we are having now had one time or the other lived in ibadan, either for their education,or other oppurtunities the city offered. It's unfortunate the city is not what it should be today.

There was never a time in history where the east is more developed in infrastructure or otherwise, over the west. Abeg no bring that assertion come hia!
PoliticsRe: Dame Patience Jonathan Is Distributing Rice by daylae(m): 10:30am On Sep 30, 2010
Wow! These politicians are still bent on the old religion.

Its very uncivilized. A woman even said she almost lost her life during a stampede for a bag.

Such a demeaning way of way of winning the approval of the poor masses. Shamefull!!!
PoliticsRe: Parents Cry Over Abducted School Pupils by daylae(m): 10:16am On Sep 30, 2010
What a nightmare to encounter at such tender age. The parents shouldn't trust on the sham efforts of the police in securing the release of those kids.
In as much as i hate to say this, the parents must start making efforts to meet the terms of the kidnappers before is to late. I just don't trust the police on this!
PoliticsRe: Is Aba A Reflection Of What Biafra Would Have Been? by daylae(m): 9:58am On Sep 30, 2010
@poster, I so much believe that. The government would have been autocratic, with no defined political setting. Maybe ojukwu would have declared himself a life ruler.
PoliticsRe: How Come No White Or Asian Nigerian Is In Politics In Nigeria? by daylae(m): 10:47pm On Sep 29, 2010
Something wey neva circulate reach some original nigerians, wey people dey shout "zonning", u dey talk of adopted nigerians.

It'll be a welcome development though. But the political terrain we are having now will sadly not accomodate this.

At least we have nigerians actively involve in politics in the US,and europe;some were even elected into the government. That's liberality!
RomanceRe: I Need Advice: I Got Her Pregnant But I'm Married by daylae(m): 10:03pm On Sep 29, 2010

PoliticsRe: No Crisis Over My Candidacy – Jonathan ! by daylae(m): 9:07pm On Sep 28, 2010
State of emmergency in oyo and ogun? Do you think is just like declaring a public holiday? The situation in the two states does not neccesserily warrant such move;even abia can be checked,if they're willing to.
The one declared by obasanjo after the pleateu crises had little or no effect in securing the lives and properties of the people in the state, evidently was the other crises that ensued. Such rights shouldn't be abused by the commander-in-chief.

As for jonathan's candidacy,i believe he has the right under the constitution to contest. His political opponents should better get to work now, rather than discrediting his right to the polls. Afterall ,the electorates should have the final say.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Skinny B.itch! by daylae(m): 3:10pm On Sep 23, 2010
Poster, one way or another,we've all had our fare share of ladies(some) being unnecessarily rude. Especially when u have them as customers, that you have to render coperate services to,they'll like to make you a living hell.
Sometimes have to wave them to their kinds to avoid their troubles. Someone said is a way of resisting domination from the male folks, but i think its just simply being rude.
