Torres with an assist for Mata 24th min Ramires with a gut bursting run sets up Torres who blasted over the bar horribly |

utumunta: If mention is nt made of Biafran war veterans in d will, then there are two things at play;3. Or Ojuku was just an opportunist who sold the Biafra dream to innocent men and women just to help him achieve his own personal vendetta |

Maciej Szmigielski, editor of Polish sports dailyPrzeglad Sportowy "What happens in the Polish league this weekend is almost irrelevant. Nobody is interested in who's playing who in Spain, England or Italy. On Saturday, hundreds of thousands of people will settle down to watch the game between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund – or Polonia Dortmund, as they are often referred to here. There has been huge coverage in the run-up. Poland's biggest and longest-established sports newspaperPrzeglad Sportowy, for example, has prepared a double-page spread preview of Bayern against Dortmund. Ten percent of the entire paper devoted to a single game! But in Poland, this is a special event. The combination of BVB having three top Polish internationals on the books and the team's incredible success over the past couple of years has led to a real boom in the number of people following the Bundesliga here. And on Saturday, Bayern be up against not just Borussia Dortmund, but a few million Poles as well." |
Hidehiko Shimizu (Co-commentator on FUJI-TV, columnist for top broadsheet NIKKEI) "The game kicks off at 2:30 in the morning here in Japan, but there will be plenty of Japanese football fans watching it nonetheless. I'm looking forward tremendously to this heavyweight clash myself, and one of the most intriguing questions is whether Bayern can deliver the goods this time after a string of defeats, culminating in the DFB Cup final in May. Dortmund can accordingly take to the pitch with confidence in Munich and the overriding challenge for Bayern is how to counter the dynamic pressing game that is BVB's trademark. From a Japanese point of view, it is interesting to see how Dortmund are adapting to the departure of Shinji Kagawa. Marco Reus is obviously a different type of player, but given that the team have otherwise remained largely unchanged from last season, they're functioning pretty well already, as they demonstrated recently in Amsterdam. But I still think we are in for another form explosion from Borussia after the winter break!" |
Andy Brassell, UK (European football expert) – BBC, UEFA, ESPN Soccernet, The Independent -@andybrassell "The English are often accused of being a little insular when it comes to football - and often with good reason - but there is widespread interest here in the meetings between Bayern and Dortmund. It was BVB's February 2011 win at the Allianz, televised live here, that really caught the imagination, with the boldness of Jürgen Klopp's side impressing. Their stellar performance at the City of Manchester Stadium this autumn, where they outclassed the Premier League champions, got tongues wagging again. Frankly, Dortmund have changed the image of the Bundesliga here from 'Bayern plus 17' to something containing a titanic rivalry which, let's face it, we all love." |
Graham Hunter (Spain-based analyst for Sky, UEFA, ESPN and others) - @bumpergraham "I well recall sitting down to interview (Real Madrid and Spain keeper) Iker Casillas just ahead of the World Cup semi final in 2010. He´s bright, articulate and a student of the game. 'Germany are building a group of players to dominate football for a generation' he told me, admiringly. His point of view represents the resurgent respect which the Bundesliga and the Mannschaft have earned here in Spain. Coherent youth development, patently clear at both Dortmund and even a Bayern currently spending more in transfer fees than ever before, full stadia because of sensible ticket pricing, respect for the fan base, a well-run league and technically adept players; the Spanish footballing public understands and likes what's happening right now in Germany. Bayern v Dortmund will command an audience in Spain on Saturday, irrespective of the Madrid derby and Barça v Athletic. And a respectful audience at that." |
Raphael Honigstein (German/English football correspondent for ITV, the Guardian, ESPN and others) - @honigstein "It’s fair to say that the Bundesliga’s profile in the UK has never been higher. Regular live broadcasts on ESPN, blogs in the Guardian and Independent, and strong showings from German teams in this year’s Champions League testify to German football’s increasing popularity. Hardly a day goes by without one of the Bundesliga’s stars being linked to various Premier League clubs. Britain has woken up to the league’s potential, on and off the pitch. The Observer’s David Conn visited Dortmund ahead of the game to look at the Bundesliga’s ownership model this week and London pubs such as the 'Bavarian Beerhouse' on Old Street expect capacity crowds for screenings of the "German clasico" on Saturday night." |
A record 203 countries around the world will be broadcasting it live through one or other of the DFL's partner companies. bundesliga.com asked leading football analysts from Europe to Japan for an insight into the significance this match, and the Bundesliga in general, in other corners of football's global community.. |
lagerwhenindoubt: It is very unfortunate that Political Aspirants who have absolutely zero legacies in their far-past and recently previous positions as public figures serving the society. are often popularized and pushed to limelight on the backs of propaganda, promises and lies. It is also unfortunate that it is my party PDP that has the most of these unfortunate charactersThats the pitfall of the PDP in the Southwest. Of all intellectuals in Lagos It was a barely literate Obanikoro the brought for governorship to contest against fashola Of all intellectuals in Oyo State, it was Alao-Akala a disgraced police officer they brought forward and Taofeek Arapaja a High school dropout Of all in Osun State it was Iyiola Omisore another barely literate thug who murdered Bola-Ige that was brought forward In Ekiti State fountain of Knowledge it was Ayo Fayose a thug they brought forward to contest against Fayemi a Professor |
May their souls rest in peace. Father left "hot" Kano, and like many of his igbo brothers, to live among accomodating Yorubas and complain about Fashola and bad roads and toll gate.
Father went to Lagos(Abidjan) in search of peace and left his wife and kids (Women and Children) at the mercy of Boko Haram (Nigerian soldiers) Coincidentally the father is from Nnewi like the famous warlord Sounds Familiar? |
ilugunboy: Why did the father left them in Kano?Didnt you read he is a townsman of someone who fled to Abidjan and left children and women in the war zone |
tpia1: @ dayokanuDeeper life madam |
Baby mama: Yet you know him,are obsessed and dream about him day and nightHi Baby mama, Why are you so angry and bitter, Did Ojuku omit your name from the will? Anyway ignore mode activated Back to Post. Bianca don hammer. WHo would now enjoy the loot with her is it Peter Obi, Uju Okonkwo or another of her numerous studs |
Lol! Never seen a more shameless man than this guy. You sound like one of those guys who read girlie magazines religously. When ojukwu was your age he had already become quarter-master general of the nigerian army. You dey internet dey gossip. You remind me of one Yoruba man on my street wey dey like fight kung fu with his wife in public. No kidding the man dey make bruce lee sounds before he launch flying kick in front of his gate
You are free to dispute anything I posted which you think is False. Did he flee warfront, Did he lose Senatorial elections? Did he lose presidential elctions? Was his brothers humping his wife? Was he abandoned on his deathbed? |
How can any sane person wish Obanikoro to rule Lagos? Whats Koros profession. We know Tinubu is an accountant and Fashola is a Lawyer whats Obanikoros profession and where did he work? The same Koro that murdered Funsho Williams just to get the PDP ticket in 2006? The election in 2007 was not close at ALL. Out of 20 LGA ACN_ Fashola won 19 LG, Koro won just 1. Is that what you call a close election? Musiliu Obanikoro can never win any election again in Lagos State. PDP would be stupid to even field him ACN would continue to rule Lagos regardless of who they field Fashola was the least popular candidate and he won handily in 2007 Go and read the thread in 2007 about lagos elections https://www.nairaland.com/36656/rule-lagos-come-may-2007/24#1042426 |
Baby mama:What did Ojuku achieve by himself. His father Louis Ojuku was a succefull man and one of the richest men in the 1930s Emeka Ojuku was a failure, failed at everything he laid his hands on and a disappointment to his wife |
.. |
Baby mama:All those properties he inherited from his father Luois Odumegwu Ojuku. Ojuku failed at everything in life. A failed soldier who fled war, A failed Senatorial candidate, failed Presidential candidate, Failed leader who abandoned his people, Failed as a brother for his brothers to be taking turn on his wife, Failed his family for him to be abandoned on his deathbed, Failed his wives for fathering children across the globe even though he was catholic. The first time Biaanca was not dissapointed in him was when he died. Ojuku was more useful in death than alive |
Baby mama: How old is the daughter, does anyone know? Are you suspecting it might be you being referred to? Incase its you baby mama don't forget you promised me its for better for worse ooo |
Regarding the pay cut, So are they absolving Wenger of wrongdoing and heaping all these on the players Wilshere and Ramsey used to play with Fabregas, Nasri and Song in midfield now they are left with Arteta Podudski and Cazorla. Walcott used to feed Van persie upfront now they are left with Giroud. Sczezeny used to get cover from Song now its Diaby and Mertesacker. You strip the current players of quality teammates and you expect the same results? Take Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Puyol from barca and let the coach still expect them to produce results the same way they are doing currently Verdict: Wengay has lost it |
youngies: Reacting to the will, Bianca, who is Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, expressed satisfaction with its contents. So Ojuku has been a disappointment all his life even to his widow. What a Shame. Fled warfront, Rejected by his people , died deaf dumb and lonely in London, His brother helped him phucck his wife and a lifetime disappointment to his wife. Diary of a Failure Odumegwu Ojuku. He never succeeded at anything in his life |

hazarding a thought about Obanikoro Snr. becoming Governor for Lagos State gives me the creeps. this dude was barely literate when he was at the Council in Lagos Island. A buffoon of an ambassador in Ghana (zero input/output what at the senate) and a weak Politician in Lagos. I even prefer that crass ingrate Dosunmu to Obanikoro
