nateevs: Will anyone say no to Raheem Sterling? Talks over contracts are stalling. Young, very talented, can stretch play, presses well, gets stuck in and most importantly, he is association trained.

If we are truly interested and can sign him, he will be here 3 years before his 21st birthday and will become club trained -something currently hurting us now as we have a small squad.

So will anyone say no to Sterling and why?
If you were Sterlings adviser would you advise him to go to Chelsea?

On the wings Chelsea has Mata, Hazard, Sturridge, Marin as options these are players that are quite young themselves. The oldest of these might be 24. So still has another 6yrs to play. That was the same reason Marko Reus chose Dortmund over Bayern.

Vs Sterling at Liverpool where he is almost guaranteed a shirt at his young age, No pressure, he can play with his agemates (Suso, Wisdom, Borini etc), The coach Brendan Rodgers who is stable and has a project going on. Moreover Sterling is not in a hurry to win trophies

The only club that would make sense for him is Arsenal cos of a similar structure.

Sterling would go to Chelsea and be another SWP weighed down by the signing fee and pressure

Maybe one party is too much of a romantic and the other is more practical.

A lot of men dont see any sense in candle dinners, dimly lit rooms, role playing etc. Those are stuffs women get fixated on from their Mills and Boons days.

OP make sure you do that number 3 fiercely and regularly, it would compensate for the other 2
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe At 82: 'We Remember Differently' - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie by dayokanu(m): 6:47pm On Nov 29, 2012
Katsumoto: I suppose following this line of reasoning, it is safe to conclude that each 'interested' individual will have different fathers for different roles.
For Africa to have a father, the Europe, Asia and America should have abi?

For there to be a distinction of MODERN er, then we should have for ancient eras too

Instead of just digging stuffs out of our asses.

But Nevermind we know who we are dealing with Its Biafrans and their words are Gospel grin grin grin
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe At 82: 'We Remember Differently' - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie by dayokanu(m): 6:32pm On Nov 29, 2012
Crayola1: Because there were a lot of writers at the same time. Contrast that to when Achebe was writing there were few African novelists.

And it depends on the genre as well.

I gave you the European one cheesy

Add Shakespeare for "modern" English, even though that's relative.
So who is the

Father of Modern European literature, Ancient European literature, Modern American literature, Ancient American literature, Modern Asian, Ancient Asian put it in a list

Crayola1: John Updike is often cited as one of America's best 20th century writers

Hemmingway
Fitzgerald
Salinger
Kerouac

African Americans
Morrison
Hughes
Ellison

Etc. etc.
There should be one father, or how can multiple people be the father of something.

So which is which and give us the quotes referring to them as Father of American/Asian/European literature
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe At 82: 'We Remember Differently' - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie by dayokanu(m): 6:00pm On Nov 29, 2012
Give us their names those cited for Father of Modern American, European, Asian etc Literature

Even Achebe knew it was stupidd to give him such award.

Now we have gottwn to another one, Father of most translated book in the Universe/Solar system, In the world, In Africa, in Nigeria, In Alayibo or in Anambra State?
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe At 82: 'We Remember Differently' - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie by dayokanu(m): 5:42pm On Nov 29, 2012
Crayola1: Ask the NYT and Time Magazine why they call him such cheesy
Quick question Since we have a Father of Modern African literature

Please can you give us a reference to who is the father of Modern day American literature, Modern day Asian Literature, Primitive African Literature, Modern day European Literature etc

Even Achebe as senseless as he is knows its a useless award aimed at mocking him and the African race and rejected it

I am just asking you which organizations performed the DNA to determine these fathers. Someone cant just come from somewhere and say he is the father of Crayola wont a sensible person ask him for the DNA evidence like on the Maury Show?

And BTW what makes me sleep better at night? You want to know? Ok Cuddling Crayola makes me sleep better at night wink
Politics › Re: Chinua Achebe At 82: 'We Remember Differently' - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie by dayokanu(m): 5:34pm On Nov 29, 2012
Katsumoto: Can't you quote alright? It is Father of Modern African Literature. angry

Please don't make that error again.
Maybe we should get a compilation of all these fathers with the DNA result

Father of internet-

Father of Modern day civil war -

Father of modern day 419 and fraud -

Father of Modern day literature -

Father of fleeing warfront -

Father of Best JAMB result -

Father of owning 90% of Lagos -

Father of Nigerian Economy -

Father of kidnapping -

Nobel is not the all be all, Gordon Bell prize is or some useless award like "Father of internet" and "Father of African literature"

Maybe i should ask which organisation performs the DNA test to determine these so called illegitimate fathers?
Romance › Re: Who Says Age Is Not A Problem In A Relationship? by dayokanu(m): 5:12pm On Nov 29, 2012
Na women dey shift the goalpost as they wish

If a 19yr old boy goes to ask a 25yr old girl She would remember the age difference and decline

But 10yrs down the line if both parties are still unmarried the story would change to age is just a number.

At 19-20 you would hear girls saying I cant date my agemates. 10yrs down the line we hear age is just a number
