alj harem: That does not give any ethnic group any right to kill INNOCENT CIVILIANS aka Igbos as the case might be. So that case I support the Igbos argument which is, since it is a military cope then the military should be targetted rather than innocent people in sabon gari and co..
Those people that Igbo soldiers kill were they not innocent civilians as well?

coogar: argentina were tippy-tappy in 86.....brazil were tippy-tappy in 94.....brazil's passage to the world cup in 02 was too easy......so i wouldn't count that!
Brazil in 1994 was one of the most uncreative Brazil ever. They even had to drop their most creative player and captain Rai after their group games

Argentina of 1986 had only one tactic, Route it to Diego and wait for magic

The greatest Tippy tappy team in football history is Rinus Michels Holland won how many trophies?

ZERO

Infact before 2010 the last time tippy tappy won the world cup was in 1970 40yrs earlier.

So if you are prepared to wait every 40yrs stick to it

MOBBDEEP: The point everyone is raising is that most African scholars who emigrate, when they meet their educated white counterparts are not overtly/markedly impressed. As a matter of fact, some display ridiculous level of retained knowledge. This is what informed the intercourse on this thread.

Some things count more than the others. As a learned person, apart from your chosen profession, you should have a measure of General Knowledge spanning Cultural Diversities, Animal & Plant World, Geography, Numerical World (Arithmetics & Simple Economic), Classic & World History including the Mythologies, Basic Human Systems & Functioning, Religion & Important World Personalities.
But if you GROSSLY evaluate the overall values of the Whites, you discover that they have more knowledge/information on Models, Entertainments, Celebrities & gizmos etc. This sounds more vain but then, you may say it is our own view/world, and we should let them be.
Happy Thursday!
When I talk to educated Nigerians as well I get ridiculous answers like I can tell you over 75% of Nigerian graduates dont know the difference between UK, Britain and England.

Over half of Nigerian graduates are very ignorant about their own country. I graduated from a Grade A Nigerian University and most of my colleagues dont even know about their own country.

Let me ask you How many Nigerian graduates know anything about Alexander the great, Ghenghis Kahn, The Incas civilization of South America, locate Afghanistan on the map or even about fellow African like Mansa Musa or Chaka Zullu?

There are just like an elite group of Nigerian graduates maybe 5% who can boast of well rounded knowledge in World Politics, biology, current affairs, Geography

eaglechild: Not a fair comparism at all.
America is a first world country with up to 90% literacy levels.
They have about 50% of the universities in the top 20 rankings.
Majority of the citizens have access to the internet.
It's true that not all make it to college but a very good number make thru highschool (which is where most of the geography is taught).
With all the advantage, one would expect them to be more enlightened!!
I wouldnt even want to begin to narrate my experience with some A class college gradutes.
But I tell you as a matter of fact most Nigerians Class A graduate are even more ignorant. Several University graduates in Nigeria dont even know that people from Benue, Edo and Akwa Ibom are not Igbos? Someone on this thread gave an example of a corper who doesnt.

Some people get to Jigawa and are surprised that some people there can speak Engish because they expect everyone there to be a cattle rearer.

Gather 20 Nigerian graduate here and ask them whats the difference between England United Kingdom and Great britain and watch the pathetic answers they would give. Despite that Nigeria and England have centuries of relationship.

If you expect every American scholar to know about everywhere in the world then I can as well expect you to tell me the native Langauge spoken in Kurdistan

Arsenal fans are set to take the club's hierarchy to task at their annual general meeting after a satirical flyer was handed out to supporters, with chief executive Ivan Gazidis the main target.

With the club sat ninth in the Premier League table following an indifferent start to the new campaign, the losses to Norwich and Schalke within the last five days have led disgruntled fans to distributing the spoof leaflet.

foyeks2001: Are those kids gonna be answerable to my fathers name?will my fathers family compound gonna be their first family compound even d state of origin( my mother is from Lagos State while my dad is from Osun State, my state of oringin indicates Osun State) as far as am concerned those kids belong 2 their father
What other sacrifices do u guys want from us...we changed our surnames immediately we r married to u etc.
Were you forced to do any of these things? If you wanted the kids to bear your fathers last name you could have discussed that with your husband, You can retain your last name as well.

No one forced you to do all these or were you forced to have children? If you don't want to have children then you don't have to just tell your husband

Yes, I know there are lazy men out there, but we stil have hardworking men that compensate their wives after delivery...if u haven't seen, I have seen many
Do you want the baby or not? If you don't want the baby then no one should force you to have it. Just tell your husband you don't want a baby so you can avoid all the losing one's appetite, vomitting, feeling feverish 4rm 1-3months, afterwards, u must stop eating and taking some stuffs like cold drinks, then u ve got 2 change d position u normally sleep,go 4 ante-natal, pushing out 5pounds baby.
