Sky Blue: Kindly be specific and counter issues raised or just keep walking. Saying people who don't agree with you are fools without presenting a solid counter argument does not help your case or make you sound street smart and knowing.
Do you think without OBJ, what would have stopped a Atiku/Odili ticket?

Wasnt it OBJ who imposed a relatively clean YarAdua and Jonathan over the obvious Atiku ?

Ikengawo: Tinubu and Fashola are a necessary duo.
Fashola performs and brings in the hearts of the people while Tinubu does the ugly back politics and godfatherism that is sadly needed to succeed in Nigerian politics. If Tinubu wasn't a B@stard, fashola wouldn't have had a chance to preform.

The same way OBJ's godfatherism kept Nigeria from being an arewa colony, Tinubu's might keep nigeria from being a PDP colony.
Your head is very correct.

Let anyone tell us how Fashola would have been governor without Tinubu. Without Tinubus influence Most likely another professional Politician like Obanikoro would have been governor.

Its idealistic to think you wont need a Godfather in Nigeria do you think wothout OBJs gangster politics, Atiku wouldnt have been president of this country now? Or who do you guys think stopped Atikus plan?

Without OBJ we would have had Atiku president Odili vice president

joeyfire: Funny how you lot sing about igbos "not respecting their hosts" and how they "provoke" their hosts and so on bla bla bla. But you never identify any particular way you are supposedly being provoked. If you are natural bigot you should accept it and stop clutching at straws
For one How do you go to someone elses place and declare the place a no mans land?

The same reason they gave for killing other leaders and sparing theirs. While at the same time releasing song and calendars extolling the coupist and showing the Sardauna under the foot of Nzeogwu and ironsi

And they got what they deserved both from the Hausas and from a fellow Ogbomosho man, Benjamin Babamaja Adekunle during the Biafra war

If we put aside tribal difference

Most people that can change the country are not even in Politics or have no chance of winning. People like Barth Nnaji, Pat Utomi, etc

If not for Tinubu, someone like Fashola would never have smelt the governorship. If other "Godfathers" have presented quality people and backed them up we would be in a better place.

If a godfather like Saraki had nominated an intellectual or Orji Kalu another godfather had given Abians someone like Barth Nnaji or another godfather Anenih had given his people a Pat Utomi, or Obasanjo had given us a Fashola instead of Alao-Akala, Fayose etc that he foisted on us

Maybe we would be in a better place

Call him and sit down

Show him your money management skills. Bring out pen and paper, bring out your excel sheets and show him what he can achieve with proper planning.

Some people are impulsive they want to achieve everything at once. I must admit I am like that atimes, Want to build in village, want to build in city, want to build in US all at the same time.

But if you show him what he can achieve with proper planning that he would get there but he needs to plan and take one at a time.

Tell him to give you just 10,000 and see how you would manage it and what you would achieve it and gradually he would have more confidence in you

Maybe the house in the village first next the house in the city, next the cars One thing at a time

Just show him you are a very good manager of money and I am sure he would relax. Most men think a lot women are not good managers of money as they want to spend spend spend buy clothes, buy shoes, buy weaves without planning for the future, they think they only live for the moment. but if you show him you are s different kind of woman that you are ready to sacrifice material things for long term gains He would hand over his life to you.

I have seen one of your previous post and I am impressed by your thinking. Any man who marries you is lucky

Given all said and done I think you should just divorce him. cos both of you have different expectation from marriage

While he needed a partner financially, You want an aristo a sugardaddy. Nothing wrong with either side. We have marriages that both sides are partners and work together financially and we have some that the husband pay for everything 100% while the wife spends her money on her own need. An examples someone on this thread even thought its odd for a mother to pay her childs hospital and school fees.

There is no mid-point when the fundamentals are not agreed on. You both are already living single anyway.

Hopefully he would find his own partner he desires where they would share responsibilities and hopefully you too would find the type of husband you desire that would pick 100% of the bills at home and you can keep all you earn

And anyone who doesnt find what they want, Marriage is not more important than you being alive. STAY ALIVE

afam4eva: It's just shocking that a master will travel that far to feed his slave. These slaves are really misusing the privilege given to them. Don't you think.
2015 is near, Its time to take advantage of the slaves again. Its time to give them candy and they would sell their souls again.

Wasnt it one top Igbo politician that was telling everyone that its the Norths turn to rule after Retardeen Jonathan? Thats how loyal Igbos are to their Hausa masters

Even Shagari had the below to say

"Alhaji Shehu Shagari, a mild mannered man captured it well when he told Zik during the 1979 election campaign: "when you switch husbands one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight times, you are no longer a beautiful bride but a harlot"

Basically the ACF just went to visit their prostitute, their ever faithfully ashi who doesnt say no

Abagworo: Why do you people hate Igbos without a tangible reason? You accuse them falsely, kill them on the slightest provocation and conspire against them? Just like the Israeli PM said "the only thing that unites the Arabs is their common hatred for Israel". "The only thing apart from sports that unites Nigerians is the common hatred for Igbos".
Hate Igbos? May be when they explain why they killed our leaders and spared theirs.

I am certain you would avoid the question like other Igbos. Until Igbos are able to tell us their motivation for killings of January 15 1966. They would always be hated
Seriously, minus corruption, our next greatest headache in Nigeria is tribalism, the seed of which was sown by Awo. Don't we know the history of crosscarpeting in Nigeria politics. Why did Awo so much hate my people Igbos?
Maybe you would be kind enough to tell us why your uncles decided to kill other regional leaders and spare theirs

muchbeauty: i want to talk about beating in homes and how it has affected my country. Parents think the best way to correct children is by beating. Most husbands think the best way to correct wives also is by beating.. yes a slap might be alright if you have to, seeing that this is Africa but when you batter a child in the name of correcting a child, your child would grow up thinking that the best way to correct others is by beating others without mercy. When you ask parents why beat up your child in such manner? The answer you would get is the bible said spare the rod and spoil the child. That's in no way sane. These i feel are reasons many people in Nigeria are aggressive, a combination of so many aggressive minds form mobs aimed at correcting people.
People beat thieves without mercy; fight people who they intend to correct of wrong doing. I saw a video of a babe who was caught stealing blackberry and people started handling her breast as punishment.
This is an idea that has developed over time by them, so do you think taking other peoples lives would be a problem to them?
I have heard so many touts say, "my papa, or mama they been beat me o, well well", but with so much beating how did they end up so hardened? Was it not meant to correct them, or were their rods not long enough? Violence can not be used to correct violence and a change for Nigeria starts from our homes.

Shouldnt the health of the child supercede all financial consideration?

Were they not the richest in 1967 too when the poorer ones schooled them

coincidentally it was an Ogbomosho man who decimated them

He blew off everything that moved and those that didnt move

His name is Benjamin Babamaja Adekunle. ekun oko Igbo. (husband of all Igbos) do you recognize him? Sure your ancestors would

GhostFaceKiller: Ask yourselves, which section of Nigeria is most antagonistic and xenophobic to other sections?

The answer remains the southwest..
LOL and almost every Igbo flocks there before they can make a living.

R=They even want to be governor in the Southwest

i guess its something to do with the Igbo vocabulary

A man who flees warfront is a hero

Anyone who whoops their behind in war is a coward

Now the same people who gave them all their property back after war and accomodate them are now called xenophobic?

It must be a curse to be Igbo

Your enemies at war are meant to feed you?

Only in Igbo logic
