One question Dayokanu

why is tinubu dressing like Awolowo, is it that he needs to be awolowo first before he can implement good services for the people of the SW region ?

Did Awolowo dress like Sango or oranmiyan before he could rule ?

wtf huh huh
Yes Tinubu wants to be like Awolowo thats why he is dressing like Awolowo. Is there a Problem with that. He likes the dress sense of Awolowo and he dresses in a similar way

Or what other m0r0nic question do you have? is it wrong for people to admire someone elses dress sense and emulate it?

afam4eva:
Good for you and your people. Does it encourage democracy in Yorubaland to follow Tinubu and a mere political party? So, you're encouraging a one party system where anybody ACN presents automatically becomes governor. Whether he has the head of a cow and the brain of a goat does not suffice, abi?
That is exactly what we like . We have seen the antecedents of ACN and their rivals and we Yorubas feel we can trust them to give us good leaders.

E.g ACN gave us Fashola, PDP gave us Obanikoro
ACN gave us Ajimobi PDP gave us Akala
ACN gave us Aregbesola PDP gave us Oyinlola
ACN gave us Fayemi PDP gave us Segun Oni and Fayose
ACN gave us Amosun PDP gave us Tunji Olurin
ACN gave us Aregbesola PDP gave us murderer Omisore

WE in our backwardness chose the quality ACN gave us over the jagbajantis others presented.

So to answer your question if ACN presents a dead cow, we would vote him in

so OBJ imposed Iyabo and who did Akinjide imposed just another person right !
Maybe you should learn more especially Yoruba politic or better still ask who Jumoke Akinjide who lost on the PDP ticket in Ibadan was.

afam4eva:
If anybody is to assume leadership position in Yorubaland or any land for that matter, it should be traditional rulers(Ooni of Ife).
But the Yoruba people in our backwardness preferred Tinubu to the likes of Ooni of Ife. So what else do you want us to do?

We have chosen Tinubu and his ACN crew

All these so-called leaders are after their pockets. They just use ethnicity to blind gullible people like ekoile and seanet. Imagine someone calling Tunubu, a Yoruba leader. If this is true, then the Yorubas must be the most backward group in the whole of Africa to call someone like Tinubu their leader
Whats there to argue about? We fully accept that We are the most backward people not only in Africa but in the Solar System even worse than the people/CUNTry who have the eternal m0r0n Odechuwu Retardeen as their leader

Sir Kay:
@ dayokanu,

Tarila Okorowanta played for Shooting Stars. His indiscipline level then was really bad, as his behaviour was like what Etim Esin did later. He absconded to Italy when Shooting Stars went to Tunisia to play in an African Champions Cup match in 1984. He's actually a very talented dribbler in the mould of Esin and Okocha.
Do you know the 3 Shooting stars players that ran away around 1995/96 when they were to play a match vs one North African team I think Edith Agoye was among them.

So Iyabo is also imposing while tinubu has his wife, daugther, daughters husband , wife's sister etc

is it a monarch or what ?
OBJ imposed his family, Akinjide imposed his family, Tinubu imposed his family, But Tinubu is wrong for doing so while OBJ and Akinjide are right? Can you spell HYPOCRISY?

Fashola and co are Governors and NOT YORUBA LEADERS
When people are lected to lead them they are called leaders. Fashola and co were elected by ppl to lead them thus they are the leaders of yoruba or Who is the leader of America? I am expecting you to probably say SARAH PALIN grin

Look deep and tell urself the truth, WHAT HAS TINUBU DONE FOR SW/YORUBAS OR NIGERIANS ?
Tinubu IMPOSED the best governor we can ever hope for on us. The best gift you can give to any people is good leadership.

Apart from Fashola , amosun and adams, can you tell me any other SW doing his job well. ?
All of them are doing excellent compared to their peers in the country

be deceiving yourselves

1. Awolowo policies are waaaayyyyyyy more advance and sophisticated for Tinubu and his like to comprehend. So stop adding Awolowo and Tinubu in the same sentence because they are of different class.

2. other afenifere can go to hell for all I care. I am typing about Tinubu and not Afenifere

3. YCE are the only Yoruba leaders today.

Tinubu has enrich himself with money generated from the SW.

Tinubu CANNOT MAKE DECISIONS for the Yoruba people. He has not right to talk after the embezzlement.

YCE is fight for the yoruba course while tinubu is disunitying yorubas and further still imposing candidates.

One day the blind shall see. I hope it would not be too late.

Fashola and mimiko are trying to dissociate himself from tinubu ask why ? DO you not see these things

why would Fashola; tinubu's friend be trying to avoid from Tinubu ? if not that he knows how bad tinubu can be.

The peak of Yoruba greatness was during Awolowo's ear.

the shallowest period of Yoruba is during the self imposing Oju yobo Tinubu

This is what OBJ and Fashola with other yoruba leaders are trying to let una see, but of course as blind as a bat, you are allowing Tinubu to tell us what the events of the SW would be.

^^I remember Williams the Brazilian I think he scored a free kick against us in Chile 87.

Its hard for me to pick my fave in Saudi 89. cos Chris Nwosu goal vs Czech had me cumming for weeks.

That Pinto in Saudi 89 final, was it Joao Pinto or Sa Pinto. In Saudi 89 who remebers Bismark Farias from Brazil?

Esin was shot by robbers some weeks to the tournament cruising his 505, IBB deployed the medical Arsenal to make him fit.

Kcjazz, I saw Kasey kellers last game last weekend. Walahi I still think he is better than most keepers right now. he made an incredible triple save in the second half.

In canada 87, I wont say Osondu was the best player for me, I was more enthralled by the wing plays of Dimeji and Emodofu. That Capellini or was it Capelilli cos We nicknamed one deadly striker in my school that name.

USSR or CCCP like on their red jersey, Do you remember Oleg Salenko being part of the team? and also in Saudi 89.

Maroc 88. I remember Humphrey Edobor. I think He played the game vs Angola where okwaraji died. But my fave laft winger was Friday "Elastic" ELAHORRR I always believed he would bring some magic.

I didnt watch China 85 I just remember NTA using some highlights from the game as adverts. Remember Fatai Atere

cheiiii, see nostalgia. . . .

saudi 89 - osondu, ohenhen, jimoh balogun, dimeji mohammed lawal
canada 87 - tony emedofu, chris nwosu, peter ogaba, lemmy isa, etc
maroc 88, bright omokaro, henry nwosu, rasheed yekini, etc

abeggi, dayo na apprentice for oldies footie jor. cheesy
Saudi 89, My favourite players were Mike Onyemachara(A name we adopted for fumbling players), Chris Ohenhen, Sam Elijah, Nduka Ugbade, Chris Nwosu, Mutiu. Osondu messed up in that tournament didnt live up to expectations

Canada 87: Taiwo Enegwa, Dimeji Mohammed, Emodofu . Our wing play in that tournament was probably the best ever with Dimeji and Emodofu.

Maroc 88. You remember Ndubusi Okosieme , Who ran 40 yards in the finals and still side netted the ball or Henry Nwosu perfect header which was disallowed, Sunday Eboigbe, I think Folorunsho Okenla or Oladunni Oyekale was there too.
I think it was Eboigbe that fouled Milla for Kunde to bury the resulting penalty.

Do you remember the Camerounian team then? Emmanuel Kunde, Roger Milla, Thomas Nkono, Antoine Bell, Ole-Ole, Andre Kana Biyik, Francois Oman Biyik, Cyril Makanaky. I think Ekeke joined in 1990

Chile 87 the ones I remembered were Adeolu Adekola, Etim Esin, John Ene Okon and Willy Okapara who was always picking tha ball out of the net

I can't go as far back as 87 squad although I remember my uncles screaming blue murder when the ref blew for a free kick instead of playing advantage in that game against USSR. But I followed the 89 squad wella. Back then in primary school, we used to 'draw' Amadi diving to save that penalty against the USSR.
89 I was already escaping from school to go and watch the early kick off opening games vs Saudi. There were doves on the field and ppl claimed the Saudis used it for jazz. But Ohenhens free kick and Mutis header won us the game (opener)

Angus Ikeji was our first keeper and Emeka Amadi was the penalty specialist

From Canada 87 downwards I would tell you everything

Though I missed Nigeria vs Italy in Chile 87 which we lost 2-0 cos it was wayy into the night and past my bed time.

Maroc 88 In the groups when we played Cameroun 1-1 Okwaraji my favourite player used to have Afro then scored a scorcher early in the game shot from outside 18 before they equalised.

In the epic semi finals which we won vs Algeria/Morroco?? Okwaraji scored a deflected shot and they equalized.

That was the game Ademola Adesina got a red for 2 bad tackles and Bright Omokaro took the Algerian player out to get his famous 10-10 name

Who would forget Sunday Eboigbe and Stephen Keshi in defence?

Football made in Germany with the funny sounding presenter (Same voice with Telematch) was what got me to supporting Bayern though

Canada 87. I remember the semi and finals well. after the finals which was at night the whole family had to beg me cos i was crying and had murderous intent towards the ref.

The following day I felt Lemmy Issah was at fault cos his goal kicks were not going past the half way line. Who would forget Oladimeji Mohammed, Osondu even Tony Emodofus crosses.

Chile 87 watching Brazil maul us. Alcindo scored the first goal from the right of the box and Willy Okpara just catching wind.

Who wont remember Etim Esin striking the post and Adeolu Adekola neutralized on the night

It beats me when folks say they will be "idle" at home - there is ALWAYS so much to do! For me, TV is like 30 mins of catching up with news with my nightcap just before bed. Husband, kids and the house itself all require regular maintenance smiley. Now staying home doesn't mean you can't have a home-based business. I believe every hardworking woman needs an outlet where she can be economically relevant. But not as a priority over running her family! Pro. 31 17-18.
