vermaelen would be the aggressor and mertersacker would clean things up after him.
it might actually work out good for them but if they persist with the high line defending, they would be punished - that was what got jenkinson into trouble. . . . .fouling ashley young(yellow) and chicharito(another yellow).

1. He is dreadfully slow maybe due to his physique

2. He doesnt fit into high line defences as his lack of speed gets exposed too often.

3. He is too neat for a defender and usually shy away from tackles but depend more on anticipation and interception of play
