Hi Mods

I think this topic should be in Politics instead of in business section

Minimum wage is more of a Political issue than a financial issue

Politics › Re: Aregbesola Approves N19,001 As Minimum Wage For Osun State Workers by dayokanu(m): 7:15pm On Aug 30, 2011
Anvaller:
Aregbeshola has spent several months explaining how it is practically impossible and economically infeasible for him to pay 18000 min wage.

For him to suddenly come out of the blue and say he is not only going to pay 18k but 19k at this moment is a blatant shame. This implies that he was probably lying about his inability to pay then or that he is being mischievous about his present offer or that they dont even know what they are doing.

Having observed such a high level of inconsistence, I really can not be convinced that the govt is being honest with this all of a sudden abracadabra ability to even pay more than demanded. 19k is not across board. so is that what the workers are asking for? Why not implement 18k and make it across board and stop misinforming ppl with insidious headlines on newspaper?
To those who are already rolling on the floor for Aregbeshola, are u that cheap? Well good luck to you. We would see how it turns out and in fact, very soon.
You made a point and also provided the answert in your post.

Either shows you are confused or mischievious

^^ Any smart person who read it would know that he was able to reach a compromise with labour on the issue.

The 19k is NOT across board

Osun State wouldnt have been able to pay 18k across board but on a special arrangement where it decreases as it goes higher he was able to pay

What is so difficult to understand in this?

Basic reasoning has been turned to rocket science on this board

Per Mertersacker is the wrongest choice for Arsenal

Why do you think in over 6yrs bayern has never made attempts to buy him

1. He is dreadfully slow maybe due to his physique

2. He doesnt fit into high line defences as his lack of speed gets exposed too often.

3. He is too neat for a defender and usually shy away from tackles but depend more on anticipation and interception of play

This is what German football fans think of the move

Arsenal to sign Mertesacker, Andre Santos, and Park Chu Young.

Not exactly what they need,

Don't expect to see them in CL, and probably not even EL next year.

I think we should have a subforum for elite analysts.

Its unfair and illogical to put ibime in the same analysts pool that has ritchboy, Duduspace and debosky.

Even though he smokes a lot of wet rumuomasi weed grin grin, the PortHarcourt boy surely knows his footie

Unlike other charlatans whose analysis of footie is limited to "Who score the goal" and still thinks 3 corners make one penalty

Lucky one for you this week. Players like Klasnic, Toure, Elmohamady will not be raking in points week in week out.
What are the chances they make more than 2 pts a piece next game week?
Cahill is going downhill, Nani cannot claim a starting shirt and Hangeland and Jagielka will ship in more goals.

Barring a major overhaul of your side, you are likely to end up with only a handful of points next game week.

I haven't jinxed you have I? grin grin

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread (the Night Is Darkest Just Before The Dawn) by dayokanu(m): 8:34pm On Aug 29, 2011
Its not the players fault, They tried their best to keep the scoreline minimal but Arsenal was just too useless

E.g Nani chipped the ball softly so the opponent cant make a clearance but they were too daft to do it.

Rooney started lobbing the keeper from his half,

Chicharito and Nani were trying to lob the keeper from odd angles just to ease the pains on GAYYners but they were beyond redemption.

As at 60th minute if Man Utd needed to score 10 goals they would have scored it

Cos I Remember Nani missing some chances, Chicharito and even Rooney were playing Only Ashley Young was taking it serious

"We need to come back," the Gunners captain told Arsenal Player. "We have Swansea in two weeks, which is a good opponent and I look forward to that.

"This was the strongest team we had today. We gave our maximum but it was clearly not good enough.

"I don't think we can hide behind injuries or suspensions. It is no excuse. They had injuries too, this is football."
