What makes her wrong ?? Would you prefer the right woman that loves you soooo Wrong ? IMO --- Then try to turn her into the right woman for you. ( Since you did not give details on what makes her wrong e.g. her looks, culture or level of education or exposure ) but if they are physcial attributes, they can be a way around them. |

Before you start praising Arik, go thru the thread on Arik, Happy reading https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-569731.0.html Arik is the worst airline in nigeria, On the 1st of may, my flight from calabar to lagos, just before the airport was shut down for repairs was for 12noon, before i knew it the flight was shifted to 6pm, but at the end of the day we ended up leaving calabar by 1:30am and got to lagos by 2:30 am, so can you imagine ? from 12noon to 2: 30am, i can NEVER fly Arik again. |
Romance / Re: What Shld I Do? by dazzle37(f): 3:43pm On May 26, 2011 |
@ OP, Just move on with your life, you deserve better than a cheat The best revenge you can give is to forget it all and channel your energy to more productive things so that the next time they hear of you or come across you, they would not even be able to look at you in the face because of shame because by then you would achieve alot and your level would be different. take care of yourself, keep your head high and look dashing, when next he see's you, he would know that he was just the failure holding you back and now that he is gone you are doing exceedingly well. like you said, good riddance to bad rubbish. |

nettan: Sorry i am just seeing your comment now, what is the problem you have been trying to solve with PL/SQL table, drop it here and i would come back to check it later, b/t : where are you studying or where did you learn oracle ? or it is self taught ? i would like to know. and a little tip, to make it easier for you, transfar your SQL problems to enterprise manager first, its easier for me to do my SQL via enterprise manager rather than doing it straight from the domain. |

Programming / Re: Is There Any Chance That A Female Can Become A Very Good Programmer by dazzle37(f): 1:05pm On May 25, 2011 |
@ Op Yes there is no crime in becoming a programmer, i am a female too and i also love programming, but i have never really contributed to this section of nairaland because every time i come in here, i only see the ( M ) status so i did not want to be the odd one out or the only female in this section. With the right tools and determination, you can be what ever you want to be. e.g for me, its not just programming alone, i am also oracle certified, i studied oracle 10g, i run my oracle on linux not even on windows, windows is now strange to me, not just that alone, i am also a software quality tester, software testing and auditing is actually a new aspect of IT in nigeria, Nigeria has not yet fully explored that aspect of IT yet, And the funny part is not just that you know software testing, there is really alot of money in it too if you know your onions but it is what i really love doing too. i like the challenges that comes with programming and managing or creating a database, it keeps me going everyday, infact, i see it as part of my daily balance diet. LOL.i also come to nairaland programming section to read and learn new stuffs everyday, though i have never commented reason being that, i did not want to be the odd one out, the only female among the guys here. so i really want to encourage you to do what you enjoy doing and the sky is your limit. |
Romance / Re: Don't Blame Ladies Who Desire A 6ft+ Guys , U Will Not Understand by dazzle37(f): 12:27pm On May 25, 2011 |
@ Hooklover, oh my dear friend, you got that all wrong, i don't have a weight problem, i am currently not even up to a size 12 getting slimming tea is just like a precaution for me, because i don't even want to get to a size 12, i am currently a size 10 but the tendency of getting to a size 12 or fatter is possible because of family genes, and since i am too busy to have time to go to the gym, i considered using the slimming tea to put myself in check. And for you saying that the guys have screwed my sis and i, i know you are just trying to get a pound of flesh from me cos i had touched a sensitive part that is hurting you so much . lol , so i will not even bother getting into that brawl with you, i am too matured and too responsible for all that. stay well, i got work to do. |
Politics / Re: Bloodbath In Lagos: Soldiers Kill Police Dpo, Dco 8 Others by dazzle37(f): 11:29am On May 25, 2011 |
i am reading different versions of this story, what vanguard wrote is different from what the sun newspaper wrote but the bottom line is that the trigger happy police man was the first to shoot the gun. Seriously, i really don't care if it's 100 police men that were killed in the process, my concern is that innocent citizens should not be involved in the fight or injured. The police men should learn to be diciplined and control their anger, they don't have to shoot at everybody in the slightest provocation. what they even do to innocent citizens on daily basis is worst than what this soliders have done to them. To me, the difference between this police men and the real arm robbers is just the uniform they wear to differentiat themselves. i know a man that is on wheel chair now for the past 7 years because of police men and their greed. The man was working as a supervisor for a construction company, he was supervising a project for the company in one of the remote communities, on one of those pay days, he had to carry money to the site to pay the labourer's because back then they was no bank in the area on his way, he was stopped by police men on the road and was asked what he was carrying in the bag, he explained to them that it was money for the labourers working for his company, rather than the police to ensure that he got there safely, they pretended to escort him but diverted into a bush a shot the man and his driver and took the money and ran away, luckily for the man, some villagers heard the gun shot and came to check what was going on, and saw him and the driver by the bush where the policemen dumped them, the villagers then raised alarm and tried to save them, the driver died but the man survived abd is now permently on wheel chair as his spinal cord was affected in the shooting. he lost his job and is now constantly a liability to his family, in such a case do you think the man or even his family would ever be happy to associate with the NPF |
Romance / Re: Don't Blame Ladies Who Desire A 6ft+ Guys , U Will Not Understand by dazzle37(f): 4:33pm On May 24, 2011 |
@ HOOKLOVER, i don't believe in coming to bash people or their families, first of all i don't even know them let alone their families, what ever you feel like saying is up to you, its your fingers and your laptop you are using to type. For your information, i don't even have to advertise myself or my sister, i am glad that atleast a few people here in N/L have actually met us in person so i don't need any adverts. you can as well go back to read your thread again and most of the replies that you have dropped for different comments and you would see why i wrote what i did at that time, and why is it that you only saw the one i wrote for my sister and i ? why did you not see the part that i wrote about a collegue of mine in the office who is about 6.7 and wears a size 50 shoe and also plays basket ball ? i wrote about the money because you were bragging how someone should come to ph and you are going to spoil the person with money. As for the part of insulting my family, Go child and SIN no more, you are already forgiven, because you don't know what you are saying. in all these, how come you even managed to miss my point ? my point is that there is no big deal in being 6ft or above, that the important thing should be your personality and that it should not be over rated. you need to start reading carefully before you jump to reply. |

i would not want to use this 18 year old girls story as an example. But all i would say is that, we all have conscience and the ability to differntiate what is right from what is wrong so let all live our lifes in a way we know is right and try to do the right things, search your conscience and allow it to guide you. Yes heaven is real and hell is real too, i believe in the Holy Bible and what it says in as much i am not perfect, i would try my best to live my life according to the instuctions in the Holy Bible and try to let my conscience guide me and help me differenciate the right from wrong, the good and Bad. God be with us all. |

Romance / Re: Phew by dazzle37(f): 2:16pm On May 23, 2011 |
like i always say, nobody is perfect and i have always grown up to believe in myself and have confidence in myself, i tell you what i can do and what i can't do, i lay it out for you and the decision is all your's, if you think you can stay with me fine, if you can't, all you can do is walk away, not that i have never liked any guy before but i have never been the kind of person to displease myself for another person, if at all i get to do anything, it should be that i am the one that wants to do it that way, not because a guy wants me to. i have principles that guide me, and one of the principles is 1. Don't ever make any decision that has to do with your life or your future based on someone else. so that if it does not work out, you will be responsible for your actions and not trying to point fingers to some other person. 2. i can never try to be who i an not, because a guy wants me to be miss perfect, either you take me for who i am or you leave me alone for some other person that will love me, just for me. for the ladies, the best thing you can do for yourself, is to first love yourself. if i am with someone that seems not be into me, i rather walk away no matter how hurtful it maybe at that time, but i will know that its all for the best, i don't even like all the emotional stress, so as soon as i start seeing the signs, hmmmm, sorry i am off, i think i have other things to do with my time, e.g pursing my career. |
Romance / Re: Don't Blame Ladies Who Desire A 6ft+ Guys , U Will Not Understand by dazzle37(f): 1:56pm On May 23, 2011 |
i really don't see the big deal in someone being 6ft + my collegue in the office is about 6.7 and his shoe size is 50, and believe me when its time for shopping, he does not find it funny because getting something his size is usually difficult, and funny enough, he is really handsome, but i don't see it getting to his head, he is still very calm and humble and respects everyone, he is a qualified architect and very good with 3d architecture and just recently finished his masters, so he has it all in one package and yet he has not come to a public forum to brag about ladies or people falling all over him, he plays basketball too so atleast he puts the height to good use, so in my opinion its not a big deal. Don't even think that i am short, I am also 6ft, and i am a twin so imagine the stares we get from people when they see us walking together, we are always asking whats the big deal ? or maybe becos we are so identical you can't tell us apart, but my opinion, i prefer going for some one with brains and a good personality and character rather than just the height i Thank God that he has also been very faithfull to us so its not just about being a twin, but very pretty ladies with the right shape and every other thing in their right propotion and good brains too to go with, it was really funny i read this thread and saw peoples comments, to be being tall or over 6ft should not be over rated. @ poster, you are talking about oil money and spoiling people with money, i can assure you, i have friends and people in ph, whom i can confidently tell you, that you can never match up to them, infact with your height, you would still feel intimidated by them, in terms of money and spending and some of them, you would even be bowing when giving them handshakes so your height at the end of the day would amount to nothing. Just thank God for making you who you are, because with God all thing s are possible. |
Romance / Re: My Babe Under Threat ! by dazzle37(f): 5:28pm On May 17, 2011 |
hmmmm, i don't mean to be rude to you or your girl friend, but before i ask, you must know that i am a very civilized and matured minded lady Is your new girl friend so much of a whimp can't she show the crazy ex her place ? Is the ex the only one that chop craze ? In as much as i appreciate peace and understanding through dialogue, but if the other party is not willing to co-operate, then i would show her that whatever that thing she things she has, other people have it too >: ( , the phone calls were not enough for her, but for her to have the guts to show up at my door simply means she is looking for someone to tame her and trust me, i will treat her as though am trying to tame a wild animal. what rubbish, why is she scared ? did she do anything wrong? is it a crime to date someone you like well Thank God sha, its like this kind of people already know who to carry their rubbish to, cos they know its not every girl they can do that to, i don't support a guy hitting a girl, but trust me, some girls sure deserve it, to knock some sense back into their heads. |

Health / Please Do We Have Any E.n.t. Doctor In The House ? I Need Help by dazzle37(f): 2:06pm On May 13, 2011 |
please i have this feeling in my throat like something is stuck there, most times when i drink water forcefully or swallow something like Eba, its like it pushes the thing down and i will not feel it for some time, but it later comes back to that same position, it makes me feel so uncomfortable but the fuuny part is that it is not painfull, but as a human, you would feel it and you know very well its not suppose to be there, it has been disturbing me for the past four days now and has refused to go. someone said its possible that it may be worm that must have moved from my tummy to the throat, that it has happened to her before, so i tried to deworm myself with zentel but uptill now, three days after the deworming, i can still feel it, though it now feels like it has moved just a little bit down, i don't like the feeling, i have tried all possible ways to make it go, including forcing myself to throw up, and trying to cough hard so that it may either come out or go down but all to no avail, some other person said i should try taking B complex, which i have also been trying but its not also worked, so my question is 1. Is it possible for worm to be stuck in someones throat ? 2 if its possible, pls how best can i get rid of it ? 3. if its not the worm, what else could it be ? and how can i also make it go away ? pls i need urgent response as it is making me uncomfortable. thank you. |

its not wrong to ask, and the lady should not get upset if her request is not met. my brothers and my boyfriend help me out with my braids and they sure do it more gently than in the saloon, so i enjoy it when my boyfriend helps lossen my braids he is the only boy in the mist of many sisters so he knows the girlie thing, and my brothers have us too around them so they had to learn. it does not make them gay. |
