After all, most of the things we observed from outer space are things that have already happened millions of years ago and we are just seeing them. In fact, some of the galaxies we are seeing today have left that place millions of years ago, only their light are reaching us today. So we are just seeing their past. Now imagine aliens on those galaxies equally peeking at our galaxy.

They will be seeing our future and not our past. And would we exist in the future? The universe is a mind boggling place. We would never understand it

I understand your position better now… u have a point, many of the alien sightings are fake.
But the vastness of space and time is all warped to accommodate billions of scenarios and possibilities that even the most intelligent may never conceive up to 1% of them.
The universe is so big that there could be several planets millions of light years away with humans just like us, same features and similar way of life
