So, in your mind, Lagos is not part of south west that you have to separate it from other states in south west? Marriage is for the minds ready to settle down. It is not for the fainthearted. It is between 2 opposite sex that loves each other. Marriage is not between 2 people that are infatuated to each other. They are between those that loved themselves from day one and had made up their minds to live together for the rest of their lives. Marriages are full of ups and downs likewise our daily lives. The 2 couples knew they were coming from different backgrounds and must able to tolerate their shortcomings. No marriage is perfect but successful couples worked together to make their union work. They eliminate third parties from their union and they don't stop loving each other despite the fact that they do quarrel once in a while. They don't listen to side talks, they don't share their secrets with their neighbours. They don't also allow pastors to dabble into their relationship. They pray together and they do things together. The man of the house doesn't burden his wife with responsibilities that are naturally theirs. Wives help when their husbands are down financially. They don't hide their income from one another and above all, they acknowledge God as the head of the home. I married 26 years ago and I still love my wife as if we met yesterday

I watched the event live on Channels yesterday and Iwanyawu clearly and unequivocally said that "Yorubas are political rascals".
But the most interesting irony which none of the Yoruba commentators here seem to be bothered about is the fact that Obasanjo (an acclaimed Yoruba elder) was right there when Iwanyawu said so but when he (OBJ) later got the opportunity to speak, he didn't make any point of correction to Iwanyawu but chose to allege Igbophobia against other Nigerian ethnicities thus pretending not to see that Iwanyawu's kind of unprovoked outburst which had just happened right before his eyes is one of the causes of that Igbophobia.
How a fully grown Yoruba elder would see an Igbo elder calling his people political rascals right in his presence but ignore it and play the ostrich by turning around to accuse other Nigerians as having a phobia for the same Igbo nation is simply disingenuous. If I were a Yoruba person, I would see a bigger insult to Yoruba race in Obasanjo's conduct than in Iwanyawu's outburst.
I dare say here that a good number of Yorubas are as guilty as Obasanjo as far as this ostrich playing is concerned all in a bid to seek a non-existent southern unity even in the face of provocations and speeches from Igbos which stand as unassailable evidences to the contrary.

Obasanjo's mother was impregnated by an Igbo man, OBJ is from Onitsha

Damage control. The video is everywhere. We have taken note of every word spoken by the demented soul. When people say igbos haven't learnt from history, I always rise in their defence but the bullying, the insults and the various threats coming from them had thrown a big wedge between me and them, and I know several people from other tribes too have taken notes and until they realise the damage they have caused themselves politically and socially. It will be hard for other tribes in Nigeria to entrust them with the leadership of this nation
