finestiyke:He didn't need to fly across the Sahara to find a human in need. There are countless of them in his neighborhood. Charity begins at home. If I, your neighbors is starving and you only give food to foreigners, then on what basis should I appreciate you? It is for the foreigners to appreciate you and encourage more 1diots to come on board, just as the Israeli newspaper has done. |
Toofan007:He certainly does, but I have the right to question his judgment. This is coming from a person who knows people that have kidney failure in Nigeria (and those that have died of it). But of course, the life of a Nigerian is not that important. |
Aspireahead:An Israeli is certainly not a lesser human being, but many of them think that you are. And as I previously said, isn't there a Nigerian who is a worthy recipient of his kidney? And what happened to your "charity begins at home"? |
kingthreat:Certainly it is. But I find it odd that the life of a foreigner matters more to him than that of a fellow Nigerian. Muna Obiekwe (and many others) died of kidney disease recently. So they aren't worthy recipients? |
finestiyke:So no Nigerian deserves his kidney right? When yours fail, good luck finding an Israeli to give you one. |
kingthreat:So you men to tell me that no Nigerian deserves his kidney right? It has to be an Israeli, who by the way have pretty racist policies. Perhaps you should find out how blacks are discriminated against in Israel. And where lies your love and patriotism for your fellow countrymen you low-life scum? |
Idi0t. More than 80,000 Nigerians have kidney problems and he couldn't find one to donate to? FYI, I am a donor (and to a Nigerian of course). |
For those of you saying "take no prisoners", it is important to realise that some of these fellows were kidnapped (just like the Chibok girls) and forcefully conscripted. I hope that the military doesn't kill those who try to surrender pending proper investigation. |
I have stayed away from church for about 8 years and there are no repercussions. The space daddy (god) and underground-dwelling monster (satan) are imaginary inventions of hashish-smoking Middle-Easterners. |
liongirl:ochendo forlife? May your life and resources be managed like "ochendo" managed Abia state. Oya, say amen to that. ![]() |
Living up to his reputation. The cretin governor will never fail to disappoint. |
You wan sue your jazzman for breach of contract. You no go kill me oh. ![]() |
Hard cover binding is mandated for university projects but spiral binding is sufficient for a presidential report. Only in Nigeria. |
I studied at UNEC (University of Nigeria Enugu Campus) and graduated about 7 years ago, and this was the situation back then. The thing is that most aspects of the Nigerian society are so rotten for so long that they have become the norm. People get used to it and don't complain any more. |
The person handling the media arm of APC should be fired. If you are releasing the picture of your candidate and his running mate the first time together, you need better than a picture that is below ordinary. Image and appearance does matter. |
Nigerians and the big man or big woman mentality. If the seat was already marked with a name, then it is improper for him to seat there. Otherwise, it is wrong and impolite to as someone who is already seated to make room for someone because he or she is a 'big man'. Even if a seat is marked with my name and someone is already seated there, I will ask the person to remain while I search for another seat. Anyway, it is in Nigeria that you mostly see 'high table'. |
@OP, I am not a smoker, but I sure want what you are smoking. |
This is sad. And where has all these 'religiousity' gotten Nigeria? |
Hansei University is a private (mushroom) school (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hansei_University). One wonders how much she paid for the 'honorary doctorate degree'. |
Why should a woman submit her salary to her husband? Because he owns her and she is his slave? Nigerians never cease to amaze. |
I am an atheist and I am open. All my family and friends know. However, I try to avoid discussions related to religion (especially with Nigerians) because no good can come out of it. Most will see you as a lost soul and are not open to alternative views. |
@OP, are you financially dependent on her? Because it takes some gut for her to tell it to my face that she is cheating and will continue without hiding it and there is nothing ℓ̊ can do!This might not be what you want to hear. But if she cheats on you, shows no remorse, and tells you to your face that there is nothing you can do, then why should you remain in such a marriage? Once again, are you in any dependent on her? Because it does not appear that she has any respect for you judging from that statement. I wouldn't remain in the marriage. |
@OP, if a rich guy accepts, supports and loves his poor girlfriend/fiancee, why can't the same be applicable to a rich woman? If you are bothered that he doesn't buy things for your girlfriends (which is not his responsibility by the way) the way your friends boyfriends do, why can't you discuss this issue with him and GIVE HIM THE MONEY TO BUY THE THINGS (assuming that he can't afford it)? I by no standard fit into your classification of a 'broke' guy. But one thing that I will teach my daughter is not to reason like you. And by the way, as long as a guy loves my sister or daughter, I will support the relationship and I will HELP HIM. There is a difference between being broke and being lazy. I am what I am today partly because I work hard, but also because I had a family who supported me. It does not mean that I am in any way better than your 'broke guy'. Given the opportunity that I had, maybe he would have done better than me. And what have you done for him? Have you or your family found him a job or opened a business for him and he flopped? Your type disgust me and you should be ashamed of coming here to bash him. |

Christian Oyakhilome (the hair relaxing 'man of God') as well as all the 'miracle pastors' (i.e. TB Joshua and his 'wise men') are the most successful fraudsters in Nigeria. Anyway, their mumu followers deserve them. |
I am an atheist but I come from a very religious christian family. I have 3 experiences from 3 'men/women of God' that made me to conclude that all these miracles are fake. 1. I have a cripple from my village. A crusade was organised where it was promised that 'blind will see, etc'. This crusade took place in my village and was well attended. A lot of 'miracles happened'. But no person from our community or neighbouring village was healed. The cripple remains cripple till date. All those that were healed conveniently came from afar. The name of the preacher was Ulohuo and she is from Umuahia. She is relatively unknown. 2. I have a cousin who is deaf. Attended the crusade of Uma Ukpai and got no healing. 3. I have an uncle whose children attended Christ Embassy. He had hypertension and later some partial stroke. They took him to the healing school in PH against the advise of my dad (his brother). The man stayed there for the duration and attended the 'Night of Bliss'. He came back worse than he went and died shortly afterwards. He was not old at all. If you have a sick person, please take the person to the hospital and forget about these frauds in suits that call themselves 'men of God'. |
After watching a Ninja movie, I and my cousins decided we wanted to be Ninja's too and do stuffs like them. We planned to buy black dresses and masks but never did. But we did go hunting with our swords (cutlasses) in the bushes in the hope of feeding off of nature. Anyway, we never hunted down any squirrel talkless of the tigers we hoped for. We always went home hungrier each day. We abandoned the Ninja idea after a few unsuccessful Ninja hunting attempts. |
Oduduwaboy: What method of hospital administration holds in the USA sir ? do you know ? if its so beautiful in Nigeria , why did you leave na?I did not mention the USA, perhaps you can read. There are many reasons why I left, your poor health care system and love for strikes inclusive. leo1234: The person u quoted said majority of the chief executives are non doctors. But he did not state if the medical directors are usually doctors or not. There is the position of the hospital director (which is essentially what the CMD is for in Nigeria) and there is a medical director (equivalent to the Medical advisory committee in Nigeria). The function of the medical director advise the hospital director. . I did not mention anything about consultant nurses. However, what makes you, a physician with a Bachelor's degree feel like you have the authority to determine what other professionals in their own fields may or may not achieve? You guys should stop being so petty. |
My little contribution as a doctor who has worked in a teaching hospital in Naija and now working in the NHS: 1. It is an absolute shame for any doctor to go on total strike, for whatever reason. There is just no justification for causing so much suffering and death in a profession that is considered to be as noble as Medicine. 2. The Chief Executive of every major health organization or hospital in most of the West is NOT a doctor. In the NHS for example, there is a Medical Director and others below him who are doctors but the head honcho is the Chief Executive, who is usually not a doctor. 3. There are Nurse Consultants in the NHS but they are mainly based in tertiary academic units and hardly involved in daily clinical care. 4. The first and only time I remember the BMA agreeing to a Doctor's strike in England, emergency and other essential services were not affected. Hardly anybody noticed there was a strike going on and most of this was because doctors voluntarily decided it would have been unethical, even if the reason for considering the strike was justified. Nigerians have enough on their hands as it is. That a group of very educated and essential professionals cannot see why it is necessary to get back to work simply for the sake of the common man is extremely sad.
You said it all. The mentality of the doctors in Nigeria is very different. I work in a hospital in Germany and the hospital director is not a physician. Yet the NMA will rather see patients die than have the position open to all qualified persons? Their ego is out of this world. |
MissMeiya: Good grief. The answer is one, from the box labeled BW. I wrote the proof very neatly and clearly. Read it here https://www.nairaland.com/1809786/believe-me-going-make-sweat/4#24649189Good grief? WHAT IF YOU PICKED A BLACK MARBLE FROM A BOX LABELED WW? THEN TELL ME THE CORRECT LABEL OF ALL THE BOXES!!! GOOD GRIEF |
MoyoGENERAL: yeeeeeehhhhhhPlease make sure that you know the correct answer to a puzzle before you post one. Your answer is wrong and I had already provided you with the correct answer. Here is your proof. Based on the solution that you provided. Box 1 contains WW, but is labeled BW (picked W and then conclude that it is WW since it is wrongly labeled) Box 2 contains BB, but is labeled WW (you simply interchanged the remaining two labels). Box 3 contains BW, but is labeled BB Now tell me, will your solution work if: Box 1 contains WW, but is labeled BB (picked W: no conclusion as to what this box contains. Could be either WW or BW. You can only conclude that it is not BB) Box 2 contains BB, but is labeled BW (Could be BB, WW, or BW since you have not concluded on the contents of Box 1 and Box 3) Box 3 contains BW, but is labeled WW (Could be BB, WW, or BW since you have not concluded on the contents of Box 1 and Box 2) Your solution is therefore wrong. I have provided you with the solution earlier (Second page). |
HIV1: The answer is 2.Since the marbles are in a bag, the assumption is that you only see what you bring out. |
