I wish I could like this post more than once. This was exactly my thinking when I read his initial statement. fnep2smooth: Hahahaha this country self. He wants to be the next vice president that's why him de yan anyhow.
You want to force people to die with stray bullet. Traders refuse to come out because of fear of their life, you said make them come out if not they will lose their shop.
That's the most stupid statement from someone who claim to be protecting his state
If you come out army will shot or ESN will shot, so it's better stay indoors and lose the shop.

Feel free to drop your contact info if you still need some form of guidance. You will need to obtain a travel insurance to enter Germany to be best of my knowledge, perhaps one for one month. Then you will get a legal insurance once you are here. Fees are pretty much standard at about 15.6% of your income. Don't go for stupid cheap health insurance. All the best. onyi2k: Thank you all for your responses. I have decided to make the move. I have resigned. I am heading to Germany. This is a risk worth taking. Even if e cast, as an IT dude, I will still have a job.
It's a risk not to take a risk.

Christistruth00: Travel Health Insurance is only about £10 for a month, you can purchase it online, the UK Post Office also sells it online and it. Covers Europe Most employers here in Germany will insist on a public insurance (except the person is an extremely high earner), and it is the best to take. It is about 15.5% of one's salary and is deducted at source before your paycheck reaches you. |

I am yet to tell HR because of this cold feet. I have been in Qatar for 2years now and I think its best I move since I cannot marry and bring wify here.
The German company is paying for my flight and accommodation for 2 weeks but I am still having cold feet. The process is cumbersome.. I just realised I need health insurance to make this move. Where can i get such in Nigeria. Where in Germany? I live in Germany - Mannheim region (for 12 years now, did my MSc and PhD here). I will be willing to guide you. It is an opportunity that you shouldn't let go. It is a good salary that you were given. |

Abia State has 17 local goverments. Each local government was allocated N60m/month when OUK (Kalu) was in office. Each local government chairman was give N15m/month but was made to sign that he collected N60m. So Kalu was collecting N45m x 17 = N765m/month or N9.18b/year for 8 years. EFCC has no clue of the actual amount that this guy stole. |

When I said no, he asked me why I kept referring to the lecturer as "sir", instead of simply saying "excuse me" or "excuse me Professor" if I wanted to be really polite . Hi, it depends on the resources you have. I work in a radiotherapy department (somewhere in Europe) and early stage cancer (if it is cancer at all) is curable. The Swedish-Ghana medical centre is probable the best place for cancer treatment in West Africa. I have contact with a staff there. Let me know if you need further advice. But, your sister need to get diagnosed ASAP! I know someone who died of cervical cancer because Nigerian doctors spent close to a year managing her without concrete diagnosis. |

In 1999, I applied to study Medicine at OAU. My JAMB score was 226. I didn't get admission because it was less than the cut off mark. My sister's room mate gained admission to study Medicine (in the same OAU) that same year with a score of 216 and said there are people with even lower scores who got a admission into Medicine. There was no post-UTME then. I feel sorry the young lady. |

A lot of us may b 1st to pick a stone to nail this but 92% of us Africans have our own demons in different shapes, colours and sizes and this hunts us all everyday. That is why nothing good seems to grow in Africa and good things don't last in this part of the world where morals have been bastardised with all sort of philosophical, political, cultural, religious, social, educational, values and ammoral tools and perspectives. Alot of us have questionable socio cultural kind of ammoral behaviour in another dimension. WTF are you talking about? Really. |
