I understand your fears.it is not only you that have such uncertainties. But the truth is that presently things are really bad.the worst thing you will do is to compare naija with those developed contries........it can be mind buggling.I feel you are still reluctant to come pick the job. Anonymous1900: |
Well based on what you said, your experience and education background. You think the offer is little. The truth is this,in Nigeria most companies pay based on local content policies. Do you wish to really come back to settle in Nigeria? The economy will some day get better.....unless you have your fears and de comparism between naira and dollar. What extent of tax do you pay over there?Do you think there are better chances there. To me if you are still single come back and take it up. You mentioned future prospects. Seriously a good paying job like that is not a bad start. No matter how many years you live abroad, one day you must come back. Finally choose based on your priorities....Thank you |
hehehehehehe dont just go there.OFE AKWU ALL THE WAY. Those in support abeg click like Ofe akwu prepared with cow leg, correct dry fish and well boiled white rice. Then a glass of juice to water it down....when you are done you will find yourself in disney world ![]() |
Okorocha you are not ashamed of yourself? while families go hungry, cant pay their bills and are out there borrowing to sustain their home. All you could come up with is this empty words.Well you can only sack them in your dreams nonsense. Shame on you and all your drum beaters....Only God will save imo people from your wickedness. ![]() |
I call this misplaced priority. Imagine these people who were elected to represent their people, instead of them to go and discuss pressing issues with their locals to find a way to address it.They are here escorting her....just for an invitation. How will this affect the life of that old man or woman in their constituency who has no access to light, road, water ,healthcare or even basic education for their children? Well Nigeria is getting what they voted for. Shame on these so-called honorables ![]() |
Where do you stay, what is your timing like...example,do you have full days to your self? Let me know. 1wolex85: |
Yet all this slang's is what is making it more difficult for the youths to communicate in english well. This has taken over our vocabulary, even to the extent that some people use it during formal communications..No wonder people are failing TOTALLY in english language. No wonder we can no longer pass WAEC ENGLISH ![]() Anyway naija sabi over use anything....i am not surprised ![]() |
Now we are seeing Nigeria in its entity. See our structure and ethics is below zero level.I wont exonerate anyone caught in corrupt act.But what i will not fail to do is remind us that corruption is not just what brought us to this level.Even indigenous companies dont value job ethics and morals. sarutobie: |
Guess the people were beclouded b his scam and numerous jingles all over the radio and tv.He spoke thousands of words and made empty promises.which one has he fulfilled.....he even screamed of meeting empty treasury and asked for a bailout ![]() ndubueze92: |
hehehehe.....if i remember some good primary schools back then,i weep. Anyway i dont know about the name you mentioned ![]() chinology: |
When uche ogbuagu was shouting KA O PUO,people saw him as an enemy of the state. Even his supporters are ashamed to come and talk, let alone defend him. Education in the state is long dead, dont even go there. He runs the state like his personal KIOSK.....well i dont know what to tell imo people again. ![]() ndubueze92: |
It is obvious that armed robbers are back on lagos roads..What is the governor waiting for? Meanwhile if you are coming from stadium to climb the eko bridge either heading to IJORA or CMS please be mindful of some thieves who hang around that long stretch of bridge. Please never allow your car spoil or breakdown there. At most use the costain by-pass.Those criminals are always there waiting for victims. Also from MUSON center heading to VI,please mind the way your drive early in the morning.Dont display valuables, your hand bags, phones, laptops or anything that is catchy....these boys are always there ready to attack people and ladies especially. Lagos is not looking better these days....WATCH YOUR BACK. |
Shame to the paparazzi governor of imo state.I pity anyone that will come here to defend him. While the workers are going on strike, the pensioners will start their own.....owing them 7months pension benefit, not to talk of unpaid gratuities since 2011.Yet someone will open his mouth and say rochas is working...guess in your dream .Which sector is even working? I pity all these our mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who work for the state.I pity more also those seniors citizens who go hungry just because of a wicked man that has nothing to offer the state. Just take a trip from ORJI,WORKS LAYOUT,ALADIMMA,IKENEGBU,EGBU,URATTA,ALL OF OWERRI MUNICIPAL,UMUGUMA AND AMAKOHIA .....you will pity the state. Imolites this is what you voted for, even after the first 4 years he did nothing.......May God help us. |
While I condole with the family of the dead man. I strongly kick against the unsafe acts and industrial practices in Nigeria. When the body to check all such things go about from one company to the other collecting money and gift items. In my first place of work a moulding machine kills a boy and to top it all another chiller pieced the fingers of the technician. We work without safety boots, helment or gloves......we were told that safety agency where coming for inspection, only for me to see them sitted in the canteen chatting with the managers. The never entered the production sites. I resigned because of lack of safety precautions. There is even no insurance cover neither is there any law that is active to purnish any company that engages in things like this. What we have here is slavery.........all thanks to lack of job. To be sincere, our problem in nigeria is too much to only be corruption. The system is bastardized by us . |
Thank you very much.quote author=lovinam post=36321407]Don't use ur finger to clean it. Please mothers i need your response.I have a baby of about two months and when ever he wakes up in the morning i see these eye stuffs all over his eyes.Like a typical eye dirt.It happens to both eyes. What can i do to stop it.Most times he find it hard to open his eyes, until you use wet towel to clean them.thank you |
@OP,Have you entered brt from mile12 to cms and standing. There is no single convenience or class in it.With all those silly men jerking front and back.Or those market women that will not allow you have a fresh breath .Or those people with mouth odour that will shout and talk like a lous speaker.Have you entered those those rickety ones that are dirty and old? I guess no.What is good about it when they pack people like sardine? from ketu to ojota ![]() Apart from the cheap and constant price.....brt has outlived its use. Do you want to be reminded about the constant breakdown...that can be heartbreaking. As far as i am concerned there is nothing fantastic about brt.Go and enter LAGBUS or METRO BUS (WITH AC) if you are looking for average quality. Thank you. |
@op,you forgot to include one of the women he has in Owerri. She had a son for him....he is married too and lives abroad.Few years ago Obasanjo came to owerri,Assumpta Cathedral to be precise for his son's wedding..The guy bears his name still. And to the woman, ever since i knew her she has a regular police officer attached to her ,escorting her to virtually everywhere till date. She is such a beautiful woman even in her old age. I was told he married her when he was in active military and traveling around the country ![]() |
Paul Obanua, a 43 year-old Nigerian businessman, is on a quest to change the landscape of mall developments in Nigeria and, arguably, in Africa. Obanua’s current project, through his firm Greenfield Assets Nigeria Limited, is turning a 28–acre in Aba, the capital city of Abia State in Nigeria, known as a strategic trading hub in the southern part of the country, into what will be a purpose-built smart mall community with 100,000 square meters of retail space for shopping, a multiplex movie theater, bank, its own transportation system, a dry dock for wholesale distribution and more. With a projected development cost of $300 million, Aba Mega Mall is expected to be the biggest shopping in Africa. I recently caught up with Paul Obanua, CEO of Greenfield Asset Management, to get his take on Aba mega mall development, and how it can impact and encourage privately funded infrastructural development in Nigeria and Africa in the years to come. Paul Obanua Photo Credit: Paul Obanua How did the idea of building the biggest mall in Africa come about? The mission of Greenfield Assets Limited is to renew sub-Saharan African cities, regenerate our communities and empower lives. In our quest to achieve this, one of the opportunities we identified is in the area of infrastructure development, especially retail infrastructure. This has encouraged us to pioneer the leapfrogging of Africa’s Historical Open Market Retail System to Smart Mall Infrastructure. Our goal is to transform the way in which Africans trade. Rapid urbanization and Nigeria’s youth demography of about 70% of her population, have amplified the demand for a new shopping experience. Lagos with a population of over 20 million has just four standard Malls compared to 23 malls in Nairobi with a population of 3 million. Aba has a long history as a major center of commerce and industry in Nigeria and its influence extends to such neighboring countries as Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Central Africa Republic, Ghana, etc. The major shopping center in Aba is the Ariaria market built in the 1970s with the capacity for 20,000 shops; today it has become a sprawl of 120,000 shops. This and many other commercial centers are all busting at the seams as they have all exceeded their carrying capacity. The amount of retail space required to meet present demand is in excess of 500,000 square meters and we envisage that Aba Mega Mall will go a long way to fill this gap. http://www.forbes.com/sites/mfonobongnsehe/2015/07/21/the-nigerian-building-a-300-million-smart-mall-in-aba-city/ The ENYIMBA CITY WILL RISE AGAIN.....GOOD ONE |
Carry go PMB. This is a good one and I hope you will start with that Okorocha scammer that went with you. He has taken Imo state 7times back wards. He has succedded in running the state as a family kiosk. No accountability of funds,no development seen anywhere..Pensiones are owed, even him cried out that he met an empty treasury ( abeg from who). The peoplening the state are his wife, brother, sons inlaw and children. He has made the state to be worse off. Ask him what he did in the past 4years with the funds. Level of education is zero. To the point of demolishing the only state library.all he does is sing noisy jingles on radio and Tv. PMB you shouldn't have included him in your team, because all the pictures he snapped at the white house will become billboard adverts in owerri. He will scam the people with juicy words. As the sledge hammer will begin to fall on corrupt leaders, let it not pass him by. Thank you. |
