[sub][/sub] There are schools in the U.S. you can get MBA for $14,000 for the full program and also $19,000 for the full program.

Why don’t want to go to a school you cannot afford?
Hiii please can you name any school that has the MBA program for this price range you mentioned. I’m taking notes for the future. I’ve been doing some searching but the prices I’ve seen exceed this amount by double.

This is a tale of resilience and faith, a narrative that underscores the belief that setbacks are not roadblocks but rather detours guiding us towards our ultimate destination. In the face of unexpected challenges, it's crucial to maintain forward momentum, trusting in the natural unfolding of events.

Last December it was disappointment when my application for a tourist visa was rejected. Instead of dwelling on this setback, I refocused my energy on my business pursuits. Yet, the dream of relocating to Canada with my wife, who is a nurse, persisted within us. Two years earlier, we had explored this possibility, but my wife's evaluation, particularly her IELTS score, didn't meet the criteria for the express entry pool as the point is less than 400 . Despite the option for her to apply independently, she insisted on our journey together.

Seeking guidance from a travel agent, we received discouraging news about the lengthy and uncertain process involved. However, our plans to visit Canada as tourists were abruptly halted when my visa application was declined. It was during this time that a friend in Canada, who had previously utilized the same agent, shared his experience of obtaining a work permit. but even if l have got the visa, my faith in God and his teaches will have prevented me from pursuing that type route , and I harbored no judgment towards him or anybody . It became apparent that many individuals in Canada who arrive with tourist visa were not saying the truth about the path used to secure the fast work permit .

Then, in a remarkable turn of events, my wife received an invitation just yesterday to apply for permanent residency in Ontario through the Express Entry pool. With her low score as a registered nurse, NOC 31301, a new avenue towards our Canadian dream emerged.

This journey has imparted a profound lesson: that the plans of a higher power often unfold in unforeseen ways. What initially seemed like a setback ultimately paved the way for a greater opportunity. It serves as a poignant reminder that God's timing is always impeccable, surpassing our own aspirations.

Ultimately, it's not the obstacles themselves that define us, but rather our resilience in overcoming them. Through unwavering faith and perseverance, we find ourselves on the precipice of a new chapter in our lives. Indeed, the mysterious workings of divine God often bring blessings when least expected... and to the one calling me a failure ..l will advice you have alternative plan for yourself too should in-case visa approved or denial because tourist visa is not a right but a privilege and it does not define anybody success or achievement .l wish everybody all the best
I’m happy for to read this good news of you and your wife. Eventually you’ll land as a Pr holder and not a TRV holder. God is good, every slight set back is not an absolute denial. Regardless of your scores remain in the pool that’s my advise to everyone exploring the PR pathway.

Thanks chief, so I called him again and I realized that it was the number of schools to send recommendations to that was overwhelming for him, hence the reluctance. I applied to about 5-6 schools. So he promised to send them this weekend that I should not worry. Thanks for the encouragements
Dealing with a mix of helpful and challenging recommenders? Stay patient and send occasional polite reminders. You need them now than they need you so just be patient.

Just wondering.. is it cheaper to buy in the US and ship to Nigeria vs buying made in Nigeria diapers and wipes? thank you
I explored shipping costs for diapers, but it wasn't economical. So, I opted for U.S. brands from Nigerian retailers in Lagos who import them. I secured a year's supply of wipes by bringing some in my hand luggage and cargoing others via sea. While the pricing in Nigeria varies, I found good deals on Amazon and in Sam’s Club. Despite compressing two cartons of diapers in my checked bags, I haven't tried locally-made ones yet. I usually stick to the brand the hospital uses for newborns, and it has worked well for me.

Hi guys, I need easiest way to pay for SEVIS fee. I have the cash on my dorm acct. I need help.
Someone in the USA has to do it for you, so how do you intend to get the usd in your account in Nigeria to the USA?
Fastest option for payment is Western Union and there’s a 9.99 surcharge for that making it 359.99

Bank check
Money order
These are the other options you may explore if you have time to wait.

Alternative help I quoted above means a nanny even if it’s for a bit just to help her through this period since she has put to bed.

You may need alternative help for your wife because dates for B category are in 2025 and your little one has come. With B visa application there’s no urgency except you fall into the emergency appointment category and omugwo doesn’t meet the threshold for the exceptions.

Imagine flying forwards first to Dubai and then backwards to the US. That's Isrealite's journey par excellence. Nobody should be flying Emirates from Nigeria to North America.
My toes were swollen when I got to Houston I had to change to flat sandals, officer started quizzing me about pregnancy because of my swollen feet and abandoned my main purpose for the trip, they took me to secondary trying to make me accept I was pregnant(story for another day). Me I had taken like twenty shots of vodka on the flight 😅. In my life I will never try that Israelite journey again.

Oh yeah. Being elderly, I didn't want them to encounter many stops and the difference btw basic and flexi was much during booking. That was why booked it.

That said, it was the cheapest that time despite costing millions lol. The manager only allowed me to pay for one extra luggage while they checked the remaining in.
I'm a tourist per excellence (that's the title I gave myself) even though my mission has always been business-based. I love enjoying every moment of my trips. If you love tourisms, try Emirates. I always enjoy their 19hr nonstop long haul flights to Los Angeles from DXB and other far destinations including Ca. They treat you like an egg.

I've flown their A380 double decked aircraft a couple of times which has the capacity to convey up to 700 passengers at a time. They check you in their 3 star hotel in dubai first before connecting the NA flight. This gives you the opportunity to enter dubai cos they'd give you a pass to enter and that pass is free...free UAE visa oo. You're driven in their bus across the city to their emirates hotel. Their dinner buffet is out of this world. But for people who don't like all that, a direct flight is better. I've flown BA, American Airlines, Turkish, Qatar, KLM, etc but have never seen such a pampering airline as the Emirates, my opinion based on the experience though.
On behalf of delta I apologise 😂. That being said I flew emirates to Houston one time about 9 years ago and I won’t try it again, it was toooooooooooo long a flight. Although I got these benefits you mentioned but I was too knackered.

I see. I bought a basic economy ticket for both of them and I learnt the seat type booked didn't have that service attached to it. Again, I got them 2 luggage each of 32kg ( that's 64kg in total for each of them) . But on getting to the airport, they dropped one each and said they're only entitled to one 32kg luggahe each, cos they are on basic economy. I had to drag this with them until it was almost time for boarding before their Manager now intervened.

The experience wasn't a palatable one and I hope my emirates could be allowed to fly again.
Ohhhhhh that may be the reason because it was basic economy, basic comes with so many restrictions so I don’t go near it. Yes with basic you’re only entitled to Seat(s) assigned after check-in, Non-changeable, cancel for a fee, Last to board, Ineligible for upgrades, No miles earned, Check 1st bag free and second will be paid, Ineligible for Delta Sky Club access.
It’s better to just add $120 and purchase main cabin ticket and have all the freedom.

Honestly delta is a really good airline I don’t even go near other airlines once it comes to going to North America. I think it was because you didn’t take cognizance of the price different between basic and main, if you had done main for them it’ll have even two bags and better seats with legroom. The price difference is usually fixed at about $120 but people don’t take note and you know this dollar to Naira wahala make everybody wants to save money it’s not our fault, if I save $50 sef it’s a lot of money.

Forget other saying you shouldn’t declare asylum. Many form rich here a lot. Over sabi kill our people. So far more than 4 people I know too after long talk and over paying hotel bills they ended declaring asylum. Hotel bills is choking. Better to declare asylum from airport. You will be taken to lodge, while you wait for hearing. All these aren’t hard as people make it look.
Convincing an individual to not declare asylum is not forming rich. There’s nothing like forming rich here, anyone advising you not to seek asylum really likes you and doesn’t want you to see shege because if that false claim of an asylum falls apart you will actually see the Shege. The rate of asylum approval has drastically dropped. 2017,18,19 were the years asylum seekers were a tad bit lucky and since they clicked the false stories of our people they became smarter and started sending people back. The government of Canada is spending a shit ton of money on asylum seekers and it’s putting pressure on them in turn.

Not always free. Try it with delta naw grin. My parents travelled last month 18th. We booked 3 months ahead and paid for wheelchair
I used a wheelchair service last year (April & August ) on delta when I had my baby and back to naija it was free. I added it on for someone who was going last month it was free. Just add it as an additional service after booking the ticket it’s completely free then you can tip the person who pushes you if you wish to.

OK. She doesn't need any company. Just go to Airfrance website and book a wheel chair for her, from lagos to her destination in Canada and pay. A mobility assistant will handle the rest. Someone has also suggested
this. She wouldn't have to go thru the rigours of queues as she'd be checked in faster. Hope this works.

Hey 🤠

1. Proving home-ties is not just writing out your employer's name or families or property listings . Proving home ties must follow the rigid (unshaking) policy .

2. I can deduced that you 're presently in the UK and to secure United States visa from the UK (as a Nigerian) you must proof a tie WHICH TIE (bind) YOU AND UK TOGETHER .

3. If you are a UK citizen then your family (especially husband , wife and kids ) and job (solid long time job) are sufficient to proof tie.

4. If you are a permanent resident, your family in the UK, Solid job, and properties or ongoing education (ie PhD /MSc in view) will make up for your tie .

5. You just have to proof WHAT MUST take you back to the UK ... NOT WHAT MUST TAKE YOU BACK TO NIGERIA and the United States embassy consulars knows those things naturally . ****.

6. If you are trying to proof Nigeria ties in the UK they won't grant you the visa . You will come to Nigeria and proof those ties to Abuja or Lagos consulars.

Best Wishes 🙏
Since when did Uk citizens start needing visas. They only need ESTA and it’s $25.

Okay,l was refused Canada visa based on travel experience and it was clearly stated and no mention of wedding cert. but I want to ask you a question as a lawyer. What would you advise this guy now? He initially filled out an application stating that he was married in 2018 while applying student visa and presented a marriage certificate. However, we cannot determine whether the marriage registry is legal or not at as that time . I was asking a respected fellow beside me, and he suggested the best and easiest way to proceed without complicating matters would be to state that he is divorced and obtain a court sworn affidavit to close the issue. Any other opinion could complicate things for him because what he presented initially was a marriage certificate, and his status was married. Please provide your advice, not just from a legal standpoint, but considering the practical reality of the situation.
I wasn't referring to your wedding certificate; instead, I was highlighting instances where visa officers might give reasons unrelated to your application during a refusal. This underscores the variability among officers, some may overlook certain aspects, while others scrutinize more, and errors can occur in the process.
Some officers may overlook a certificate while some will probe further.

Regarding the guy whose marriage certificate is in question.

It's crucial to ensure legal accuracy in the presented information. However, the suggestion of obtaining a court sworn affidavit declaring divorce seems a plausible approach, as it aligns with the current circumstances. Balancing legal accuracy with practicality is essential, and legal guidance with appropriate persons will help him make informed decisions. That way there’s no misrepresentation of facts.

I received my UK visiting visa last week l applied before my Canada visa decision to attend a friend wedding and I applied with my church marriage certificate, which was approved. However, I was previously refused a Canada visa, even though I applied with the same church marriage certificate and no mention of it was made as the reason for refusal. I even legalized a copy at the Federal Foreign Ministry Abuja , and it was stamped too.
Upon my return from the UK, I intend to apply for a France visa using the same certificate. Hopefully, next year, I will apply for a Canada visa again with the same church marriage certificate because if it is recognized in Nigeria and i have many northern friend that use only their mosque marriage cert to apply visa , I do not understand why a visa officer would reject it.
The essence of the law in Nigeria aligns with the points I've mentioned and that’s the law. It's crucial to acknowledge that visa officers, being human, vary in their sources of information—some have firsthand knowledge, others rely on the internet, and some may exercise discretion. Your past denial involved points unrelated to your application and you were wondering where it came from, highlighting the divergence in decision-making. Packaging your application appropriately plays a role; some succeed with a modest approach, while others may benefit from a more thorough presentation. Keep in mind that you went the extra mile by legalizing a copy.

Let me clear it for u...immediately you present a church marriage cert to uk, eu , canada or usa ..you are married ..the issue of not all church or mosque have marriage licenses is complicated becos ur country hardly update that databases so that why you will not see any visa refused for mosque or church weding cert licences issue.
I’m commented on this topic because your take is pretty misleading is it’s what I know about, I’m a lawyer but put that aside.

Have you been on the express entry thread and have you read different stories where people were asked for proper marriage certificates as the one they got from mosque wasn’t acceptable? Go there and read and return to correct what you said. Not all churches have licenses so it’s a mere church certificate not recognized under the law except the church has the license.

orjohn24:
Your church marriage certificate in 2018 indicates that you are legally married. The only options now are whether you are divorced or still married. Presenting a church marriage certificate signifies a recognized form of marriage in Nigeria. A common-law partnership is different, involving two people living together without a church wedding certificate
Not all churches have wedding licenses so you have to go to the registry after church in some cases. You may marry in church but it may not be recognized by the law if the church doesn’t have a license.

Unused visas should not significantly impact your outcome, as they can be explained during the renewal process. Drawing from personal experience, when I renewed my visa in 2021 after holding an unused one from 2019-2021, both the consular officer and the U.S. border officer asked about it and I told them it was due to COVID-related reasons. They were understanding, and it wasn't a hindrance. In my opinion, an unused U.S. visa does imply an intent to not relocate. You can confidently proceed with renewing your visa via dropbox without fearing any negative consequences.

He should go with international passport plus a copy of it , I think a passport photo graph(I’ve forgotten but I’m unsure), a pen to sign and a copy of the 3053 form he should fill out the portion meant to be filled and leave the other portion that’s meant to be filled in the presence of the notary.
