Yes, the majority of poor men in Nigeria get married to those one who don't snub or bluff men.

I know of a friend of mine who said that: "Until Nigerian ladies begin to accept flowers in place for money like the white ladies do abroad, then Nigerian men will become romantic,pleasant and respectful as the white men are to their ladies.

All this talk about being uncultured or being crass or jobless is not the issue. The thing is that our Nigerian Ladies are just too materialistic and the only language they understand is MONEY! Abdulmutallab the terror suspect has just appeared before the Federal Court has pleaded Not Guilty to all the charges leveled against him. The charges includes: The involvement in acts of terrorism against the United States,Possession of dangerous and explosive substances liable of causing harm, Attempted Murder of 240 people and the attempt to blow up a public aircraft amongst others. Abdulmutallab pleaded not guilty to all charges. He seemed to be more sober in the court room while the judge read out the charges.

What else do we expect from a nation whose leaders lack the basic knowledge of leadership? This is a reflection of what goes on everywhere in the country. Leadership is more involving than being at the top or in control. We are yet to realize that governance is dynamic and as such requires dynamic minds. Yet, we recycle leaders who want to apply the approach of '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s to modern day challenges. How do you expect a nation to advance technologically when the leadership is not technologically inclined? It's only people who appreciate things that will show interest in investing in such. That is evident in Governor Fashola's performance in Lagos State. We need more dynamic minds in order to move Nigeria forward and position the country where it rightly belongs.

We are hopeful that things will change for better in Nigeria but we are growing weary by the day. When shall we again see Nigeria in its glory and splendor. It's as if every time we take one step forward we take twenty steps backward. Nigeria, where do we go from here?

Guys, i got the shocker of my life today. I heard some months back that Ghana's economy has improved tremendously. I didn't know to what extent though, only for me to check their exchange rate and guess what? It is $1 to 1.8 cedis. Imagine Ghana of yesterday when you would need to spend about 50,000cedis to eat breakfast and billions to buy a tokunbo car. Chei!!! This is a big lesson for Nigeria!!!

Hi Fellow Nairalanders, please i need your advice on a pressing issue. I want to purchase a laptop but the problem is that i am running out of choices. I initially wanted to buy an ACER product but while some folks are saying that ACER is not reliable, some are saying it is a good system but the parts are very scarce and that i should buy HP. Others are saying that HP is good while a hand full are criticising it. Some are saying DELL is the best because it is an American product while some are saying that the keybords, touchpad and other peripherals in Dell are very weak and spoil easily. Some are vouching for TOSHIBA and others think that a SONY VAIO is the bomb. And the guys who programmed the antivirus coded it in such a manner that after trial expires and u uninstall and reinstall it, it will still detect that it had been in ur PC before and that it has xpired. Even if u delete the strings from systems' registry, it will still "know" that u want to play mago mago.
