SEFAGO:
My intelligence has consistently proven to be one of the best nigeria would ever have. My age is what it is just a number- criticize the OP and not the effect of the OPs tribalism.
Please shot up your putrid boca cavity before the gods of your ancestors run amok. This is a load of fool’s delight. An act of associating SEFAGO with an iota of intelligence amounts to the mockery of mankind.

It is feel-happy-idiocy from the VP of Nigeria in announcing investigation of the incident of Delta flight 253. Are you kidding me? Nigeria can not investigate an incident of pick-pocket on the streets of Nigeria talk less of an issue with international links and sophisticated pedigree.

I like the style of politics in Yoruba land. Can you believe that Yoruba land was a political floor mat of AD (Advance Democratic Party) until one of the sons of the soil was rigged to the presidency on PDP platform? If you talk of about Chameleonic political treachery, the people are supreme.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Man Attempts To Detonate Explosive On Delta Flight In US by Dede1(m): 12:12pm On Dec 26, 2009
Granted that appearance is notoriously deceptive, the photograph of the alleged bomber on the Delta flight 253 does not instigate the characteristics of a maniacal and misguided religious begot. The picture depicts an image of a fellow with the alleged engineering undergraduate student of University of London pedigree.

Having made the above statements, I shall never hold a brief for any Moslem from northern Nigeria accused of precipitating a crime instigated by religious doctrine.

I still hope there is missing link about the tidings relating to the Delta flight 253. It is very hard for me to believe that a Nigerian is behind the ridiculous and idiotic Islamic and Al- Qaeda endeavor. If these Moslems see the world as sinful and unbearable, the earth still contains oceans.

China will do no such thing as invading Taiwan. It will amount to empty rascality and unfortunate suicide on the part of China to even insinuate the instances of invading Taiwan.

China is the only power with stockpile of weapons dated from the WWII and Cold War era. The alleged signed an agreement of co-operation with the Russian army is intended to give China the opportunity to upgrade its weaponry to, at least, the era of 1980s.

The Chinese frontline interceptor is still shakedown Mig23. I am not even going to mention the tanks, surface ships and submarines.

Besides, the coalition of Allies with USA can boast of numerous above average and top of the line weaponry either currently in circulation or on the drawing board.
Politics › Re: Is Nigeria On The Verge Of Civil War? by Dede1(m): 9:44pm On Dec 24, 2009
A poster had feverishly written that Nigerians are too intelligent to fall for anything such as alleged marginalization and full-scale war. I had a seriously doubt if Nigerians are as intelligent as the writer would want us to believe. If the so-called Nigerians are by any means intelligent, why most Nigerians are constantly flipping the threat of war when groups of people in Nigeria agitate for independent state by way of secession?

The intelligent people in places such as USSR and Czechoslovakia never threatened war at the birth of numerous nations due to the disintegration of the two nations. It is a load of insult to the intelligent people of the world to be juxtaposed with Nigerians by a misguided lowlife scumbag.
Let me with pleasure, acquaint you with some information that you are obviously ignorant of, or are intentionally ignoring. I present you the federal allocation disbursement to 4 south eastern states namely, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, and Imo :

2008 Disbursements:

Abia N38,713,001,058.28
Anambra N38,339,111,019.18
Enugu N33,928,866,057.32
Imo N50,614,742,898.72
===============

Total: N161,595,721,033.50 ($1.35billion)

Pray tell, what economic favors did your people receive from your governors as a direct result of spending every penny of the $1.35billion? You should be demanding an explanation from your governors, first and foremost, before directing any blame at the federal government for your woes. These governors are the same crop of leaders you’ll have even if you are allowed to secede. Multiply $1.35billion by 10, and you’ll have a good picture of who is keeping your region from any kind of development.

You said you want to get even with the federal government, ko? Then return the $billions
In my previous post I branded you as being deluded. I guess you have compounded your deluded mindset with silly ignorance. Without much ado about nothing, I can comfortably state that Imo and Abia States, baring offshore crude oil deposits, are third and fifth largest crude oil producing states in the cesspit called Nigeria.

I have known about your struggle with act of comprehension and irrepressible naiveté but would gladly remind you that federal government presence as referenced in my previous post does not include the disbursements the federal government allocates to every state in the federation regardless of state contributions to the so-called national cake. It is about federal Parastals, Industries and federal government owned economic infrastructures.

The Igbo land contributes immensely to the coffers of Nigeria and it would not be a matter of delusion to ask for a befitting International airport in the class of MMA and NAA to be situated in Igbo land. There is abject negligence of federal roads in Igbo land. Ndigbo are simply asking to be granted the privilege to erect an international airport and requesting the federal government to own up its responsibilities to people of Igbo land by maintaining good network of roads. If the federal government thinks these amenities were stiff responsibilities to bear then the federal government should buzz off in Igbo land.

@sagamite

You are a starved maggot that had shamefully failed to wear the significances of your Nigerian ethnic stock. I hardly banter with bit downs and passed over for dates such as you. I guess that only a sex-starved lowlife such as sagamite or latrine termite would have the temerity of stooping so low to sniff at peoples’ email. What a pathetic human junk?

I seriously wondered aloud how the term; marginalization sneaked into the skull of intellectual midget such as sagamite. It does not even take a fool to realize that the federal government of Nigeria has systematically stymied Igbo land of economic favors. It is conspicuously tabled that federal government presence in Igbo land as in the form of industrial infrastructure is zero.

There is no denying the fact that Biafra lost the civil war. By the same token, my plank of the debate remains and always suggests that Biafrans should never forget to get even with the federal government of Nigeria as well as remain resolute to the commitment of achieving sovereign nation.

If a twisted dimwit such as sagamite is livied about such nationalistic bent of Biafrans, I shall happily suggest that the Arrow jump off a cliff for the good of mankind.

I would not be surprise if you fall into the class of Homo sapiens who would hear a gun shot and declare that a war has started.

The illegal structure that could distill crude oil into petrol and other chemicals would have provided photo ops to JTF commanders. And knowing the extroverted mentality of Nigerians, such opportunity to show Nigerians the fraudulent image of MEND could not be missed.

Politics › Re: Will You Support Any Law Against Polygamy? by Dede1(m): 4:00pm On Dec 18, 2009
Back in the days when we use roots and leaves concoctions to cure UTI such as gonorrhea, 99% of the patients are monogamous men and bachelors. It is very rare to see a polygamous man with such infections because the man has assorted ladies as wives and does not fall for the wrong infatuations built around woman. In those days, women and even men are satisfied with the little they have acquired. Today it is a different story as married women are tempted to cheat.

The issue among Africans is neither polygamy nor monogamy but erosion of our culture and tradition while embracing everything that is wrong from European and American civilizations.
What’s the point of the gibberish you’ve written above. It shows a complete inability to communicate effectively. You’ve only succeeded in confusing yourself.

Well, I have news for you: Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, a man who is clearly your superior did not fail to grasp the misdeeds of his past endeavors and he is not hell bent on commiting the stupidity over again, unlike people like you who would rather fight another civil war than work to make our nation great.

In case you have not read Ojukwu’s speech at the recently held, Chinua Achebe colloquium, here’s an extract from his speech – Ojukwu believes that Ndiigbo shall regain political relevance in Nigeria, in his lifetime. I hope you are not saying that Ojukwu has a low IQ because of his stance on this issue:

Extract from Ojujwu's speech in blue:
My commitment, because I am seriously involved, is to work with all well-meaning Nigerians to bring about the Nigerian society as promised by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. When this happens, and all glass ceilings and other unwholesome practices designed to keep Ndigbo, or any other ethnic groups in Nigeria marginalized are dismantled, I shall feel fulfilled. When this happens, Ndigbo shall regain their political and economic relevance in a fair, just and egalitarian Nigerian society. This remains my mission. It is my commitment to Ndigbo. It is my commitment to Nigeria, Africa and the world. And it shall happen in my lifetime. Not after.

Are you for real? Your equating the implications of Nigerians acquiring properties in foreign countries such as Benin, Ghana, Togo, and Cameron to the implications of breaking up Nigeria into mini nations and its potential effect on Nigerian property owners I itemized, confirms that you are not only ignorant of intertribal dynamics and relationships in Nigeria, but you are also a pathetic analyst. You are comparing apples to oranges! Are you sure that if Ghana, Benin, Togo, or Cameroon, breaks up into mini nations, the conditions will remain the same for those foreign home owners? Would those home owners support such a breakup in those countries? Are you sure that the new mini nations will not ask non citizens to return to their countries and reapply for visa? You seem to have missed the point I was making and your logic is seriously flawed.

Once again, you’ll be wasting your resources on a lost cause. The vast majority of Nigerians do not agree with the dissolution of the country.

As a student of history, you know that the American civil war ended in May 1865 when the remaining Confederate forces surrendered. Over 620,000 Americans died in the war, with disease killing twice as many as those lost in battle. 50,000 survivors return home as amputees.

Today, there exists some fringe groups that are still calling for the dissolution of the USA, just as you are calling for the dissolution of Nigeria. Checkout their website
http://pakalert./2009/08/31/we-hate-the-united-states-secessionists-rally-in-texas/

You will end up like the losers on that website at the rate you are going. Olodo
With reference to your series of jaundiced posts on this forum, it does not surprise me to note that you are wearing inferior mentality. The comment you made about Ojukwu being superior to anybody underscores your deluded mindset.

Since you are typical African, I would not hold you penalized for your less than pale of comprehension as you struggled to make sense out of analogies I gave with African countries.

Let me take you across the pond to Europe and cite Czechoslovakia as one of the recent countries that underwent peaceful dissolution due to high tensions mounted by nationalistic interests. There was no confiscation of property, massive exodus of citizens of the two nations, lost of lives due ethnic or religious riots, no cross-border raids and lost of sleep. In most cases and by choice, the citizens of Czech and Slovakia are entitled to dual citizenship. Both Prague and Bratislava maintained cordial diplomatic and joint economic corporations.

Please can you tell me why such healthy corporation should not exist among nations at the instance of dissolution of cesspit called Nigeria?

It is unfortunate that somebody that had earlier impugned the status of past recorded events in a previous post and still had the temerity to cite the rascality of fringe group in Austin, TX in a post. I would want to annoy you by stating that Biafrans agitating for sovereign nation are not fringe.

I know you have comprehension dilemma that is why you failed to draw a fine correlation between Union-Confederacy civil war and Nigeria-Biafra civil war. I suggest to you that digging for facts is better mental exercise than jumping to skewed conclusions.

USA is a country bent on monogamy yet the spread of HIV/AIDS in this country with above average medical apparatus is astronomical. It is unacceptable naïveté and regrettable twist of facts to insinuate that polygamy constitutes a factor in the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Politics › Re: Request For The Creation Of An Urhobo State by Dede1(m): 6:30pm On Dec 17, 2009
It is a matter of misguided illusion when antagonists to the disintegration of Nigeria into nation states point to not being over populated, mineral resources and ongoing political retrogression in Nigeria as the countermeasure to such demand for sovereign states.

There is nothing more valuable than patriotic and nationalist feelings among group of individuals wanting a country that they could call home. Large or small population and mineral resources are not igniting factors to the nationalistic combustibles. The colonial contraption called Nigeria must be disintegrated.

If Urhobo people have concluded that they are numerical superior to certain aforementioned countries of world as listed in the previous post, the progressive union should be requesting for an independent sovereign nation. I had wished that people of Urhobo had woken up earlier than now.
Politics › Re: Will You Support Any Law Against Polygamy? by Dede1(m): 5:52pm On Dec 17, 2009
The idea of looking disdainfully on the polygamy is another European and American effort to trash some aspects of African culture that religion in those continents had managed to subdue.

This is akin to Europeans writing stupidly about Ndigbo not having a well structured system of government at the turn of 19the century because the Ndigbo were not practicing the monarchical system of government which was conversant to the Europeans. Even the Europeans went further to dump praises on the neighbors of Ndigbo who were practicing monarchical system. Unbeknown to poor twats that Ndigbo were practicing a system later to be known as democracy. I would want the Europeans to apologize to Ndigbo and admit their ignorance of a system of government they knew little about at the turn of 19th century.

I would always support the polygamy over the adulterated monogamy riddled with incessant cases of divorce, protracted courts cases of child support and murder of partners because of material gains.

I should have to reiterate rather unequivocally that any person who insinuated at any time that the Nigeria-Biafra civil war was a tangle primarily between northern and eastern regions is a distrusted wood-stock pervert.

It is often your style to insult rather than debate. I will never sink to your level of throwing insults. It is only those who have things wrong with their lives that throw cheap insults. What really is wrong with you? Must you throw insults? Is it not enough to just debate, dispute accounts, and provide correct information.

Since you are such an expert why not share the link with us. An 'expert' who did not even know that Ogundipe was not Ironsi's second in command before January 1966. So because Gowon was giving orders from Lagos, that implicates everyone in the west? Did Nigerian troops under Shuwa not invade Biafra through Benue? Was it through Ore? I have often said that you do not even know how to debate. You use insults to hide your rather weak grasp of history. You are more content with sounding knowledgeable and condescsending rather than discussing issues at hand.

See below from wikipedia (not always reliable but if you have a better source to refute, then please provide it).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War

The Nigerian army offensive was through the north of Biafra led by Colonel Shuwa and the local military units were formed as the 1st Infantry Division. The division was led mostly by northern officers. The right-hand Nigerian column advanced on the town of Nsukka which fell on 14 July, while the left-hand column made for Garkem, which was captured on 12 July. At this stage of the war, the other regions of Nigeria (the West and Mid-West) still considered the war as a confrontation between the north (mainly Hausas) against the east (mainly Igbos)[citation needed]. But the Biafrans responded with an offensive of their own when, on 9 July, the Biafran forces moved west into the Mid-Western Nigerian region across the Niger river, passing through Benin City, till they were stopped at Ore(in present day Ondo State) just over the state boundary on 21 August, just 130 miles east of the Nigerian capital of Lagos. The Biafran attack was led by Lt. Col. Banjo with the Biafran rank of brigadier. The attack met little resistance and the Mid-West was easily taken over. This was due to the pre-secession arrangement that all soldiers should return to their regions to stop the spate of killings, in which Igbo soldiers had been major victims[2][6].The Nigerian soldiers that were supposed to defend the Mid-West state were mostly Mid-West Igbo and were in touch with their eastern counterpart. General Gowon responded by asking Colonel Murtala Mohammed to form another division (the 2nd Infantry Division) to expel the Biafrans from the Mid-West, as well as defend the West side and attack Biafra from the West as well. Colonel Murtala later became military head of state. As Nigerian forces retook the Mid-West, the Biafran military administrator declared the Republic of Benin on 19 September.
Flag of the Republic of Benin.

Although Benin City was retaken by the Nigerians on 22 September, the Biafrans succeeded in their primary objective by tying down as many Nigerian Federal troops as much as they could. Gen. Gowon also launched an offensive into Biafra south from the Niger Delta to the riverine area using the bulk of the Lagos Garrison command under Colonel Benjamin Adekunle (called the Black Scorpion) to form the 3rd Infantry Division (which was later renamed as the 3rd Marine Commando which was made up of the Nigerian marines). As the war continued, the Nigerian Army recruited amongst a wider area, including the Yoruba and Edo. Four battalions of the Nigerian 2nd Infantry Division were needed to drive the Biafrans back and eliminate their territorial gains made during the offensive.
I shall not even going to attempt to educate you on this issue. I have no use for facts lifted off Wikipidia because most of them were personal opinions that are far from facts. To put a crap such as Nigerian-Biafra civil war as primarily between northern and eastern region on paper speaks volume about veracity of wikipidia. I honestly suggest that you dig deep for more and accurate facts about Nigeria/Biafra civil war.

One wonders why the military governors of northern, western, mid-western regions as well as Lagos capital territory had acknowledged the rogue commander as their commander-in-chief. If the issue was between northern and eastern regions, what the hell were Ejoor, Adebayo, Wey and Johnson doing in Aburi, Ghana? Why Ejoor did not mobilized troops against Gowon’s decision to move Lagos Garrison Organization to Escravos in preparation for amphibious attack on eastern Nigeria? I thought that Yoruba people would have demonstrated in masse against Gowon’s decision to sit in Lagos while making war proclamations against eastern Nigeria.

Kay 17:
Ojukwu could not be said to have been great because, his first tactical mistake was to pit his ill-motivated, poorly equipped men against the largerNigerian Army. he should have used guerilla tactics. Adekunle was the most audacious, brilliant and fearless in war. most of his beach landing are models in US War College. Obasanjo is known for finishing off the Biafrans. he was not as bright or audacious but hard-working,efficient and meticulous andengaged his strength against weakness of the enemy. Banjo was just a two-faced traitor.
The landing of the Nigerians troops in Escravos, Calaber and Bonny were not the brain thrust of Colonel Adekunle. If not for the capable hands of Lt Commanders Soroh, Aduwo, Abdullahi and Cox of the British navy, the so-called Col Adekunle would have been nobody to write home about. Adekunle’s first operational decision almost ended in disaster as the 15 brigade under Captain Bello was shredded by Biafran elements under Major Ogbugo Kalu. Fortunately for stragglers of 15 brigade, Ogbugo Kalu naively ordered the cessation of hostility against the vandals in Bonny.
