If your degree of comprehension had correctly adjudged the article as intended, who is Dede1 to ridicule your God-given level of intelligent? However, I beg of you to peruse the article again and this time, apply literary logic to it.

@JJam

Based on the dictionary explanations, Nigeria is not nation but a useless country.
Let us check out the following dictionary meanings of words, nation and country.

“Nation is a group of people sharing aspects of language, culture and/or ethnicity”. Based on this definition, the jungle called Nigeria is not a nation.

“Country is a nation-state, a political entity asserting ultimate authority over a geographical area”. This definition suggests that Nigeria is a country but a useless one indeed.

You must understand that the likes of IBB, Abacha, Buhari, Danjuma, Muhammad, Useni as well as many idiotic military officers from the northern region of Nigeria were the by-products of ethnically instigated nepotism that greeted Nigeria at birth and was spear-headed by Fulani, Hausa, Kanuri and Nupe.

The only thing patching the jungle together is cabal of wicked and diabolical suckers called politicians and fools in the uniform.

Pal, do not entertain the notion that disintegration of the jungle called Nigeria is not feasible. It is humanly feasible especially when guns start blazing.

Anybody who read this article of alleged selling of a baby by a mother and concluded that it happened as stated should not be allowed any place close to decision making circle.

If the majority of conclusions instigated by the article are yardstick to measure the intellects of the so-called Nigerians, then I will suggest that the country is in a deeper trouble than perceived.

Reading from the posts, it is not hard to discern why the jungle called Nigeria is still a jungle. Nigeria is not a nation but a mere machination of convenience set up by colonial pigs. People have written loads of reasons why the geographical expression known as Nigeria is slumping in every phase of human endeavor. Only one or two maybe five posts stated the reason, ethnic bias. Tribal tensions baptized Nigeria at birth in 1960 and had continued to eat deep into the fabric of the country’s sensitivity.

The 1959 frowning at Ndigbo’s domination of Nigerian army officer’s cadre and lodging complaints to the British authorities by Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Tiv and Yoruba, the carpet-crossing in western region house of assembly, the 1964 frowning at the Ndigbo domination of academic circle by Yoruba, the uproar and backstabbing instigated by seemingly Ndigbo domination of civil service in 1960s, the Nigeria/Biafra civil war, lack of MMA or NAA size and type of airport or good network of roads in eastern Nigeria, the marginalization policies adopted by federal government of Nigeria, many nationalities within the confine of Nigeria and most people who called themselves Nigerians are deep throat sycophants and disgusting hypocrites.

Nigeria, as presently configured, will never amount to a piece of dirt. The only way forward is disintegration of the British colonial contraption.

Bilymuse,

Even people of south south are more (and better) educated than Yoruba, not to talk of Ibo. Don't you read the JAMB website? Yoruba people have always sacrificed education for taxi driving, bukateria (iya olonje), gbomogbomo and fake pastoring. Some of those who venture into education do so just to get paper. They can't speak simple good english (just like you). That is why you have so many forged degree holders in that clime.
Please do not pay attention to that demented peacock called bilymonkey. What a latent idiot?

Wow!!! I knew all along that some peeps are scared and tend to have their guards made of iron when Biafra is mentioned.

Can these people who have expressed fear of Biafra proffer the source of their fear? Is there any precedent where newly created country or break away nation state swallowed her neighbors?

Why are many Nigerians being twisted out of human form at the mention of Biafra? I am completely flabbergasted when reading the degree of hatred spewed when the issue of Biafra and Ndigbo comes up for discussion. I shall not have any regret if the cesspit called Nigeria disintegrates into 36 independent nations.

I hate Nigeria because it lost her sincerity in 1966 and nothing could make her the same again. In pre-1966, what happened in Odi, Garamantu and Sarki Mbiam would have started a determined protest and chaos in other parts of Nigeria. The mere declaration of state of emergency in western region of Nigeria by Tafawa Balewa government spurred unhappy demonstrations in Enugu, Benin and Kaduna.

Before crude oil came into the lives of Nigerians, each region controlled her resources. However, such resource management formula changed when crude oil was struck in eastern region of Nigeria and the need to subvert the tranquility of the region was set in motion that led to civil war.

During and after civil war, the main detractors of eastern region saw to it that resources control was schemed toward the full stewardship of the central government; hence the need to control the government at the center became fraudulent.

It is very condescending by qualifying Lagos as a state. Any city in the jungle with Federal Government investment as does the city of Lagos should equal or outperform Lagos. The idea of granting statehood to municipalities in northern region and western region of Nigeria remains a classical example of sell-out and draconian approach to governance.

Ndigbo and any other ethnicity in the jungle called Nigeria must continue their quest of nationhood. If cities like Kano, Kaduna and Lagos should be granted statehood by mere dictatorial announcement, why not Nsukka, Okigwe, Aba, Onitsha, Owerri, Umuahia, Afikpo, Uyo, Ikot Ekpene, Orlu or Asaba be granted statehood too?
Politics › Re: A Question For Igbos Looking For Biafra by Dede1(m): 2:35am On Jul 06, 2009
Wow!!! Most of the sentiments expressed on the issue of investments of Ndigbo and the need for sovereign nation of Biafra make for serious agitation for independent nation for Ndigbo. How could Ndigbo leave in the same country with bunch of morons who had weird thoughts such as the ones expressed by the anti-Biafra crowd? Ijawman, you are better than this crap.

Dudes, the last time I a checked, Ndidgbo had heavily invested in Cameroon, Togo, Republic of Benin, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ivory Coast. I might add that being Nigerian citizen had not jeopardized their investment in those countries. Why would Biafran citizenship of Ndigbo lead to the confiscation of their investment in what would remain from disintegrated jungle called Nigeria if not for abhorrent hatred of Ndigbo by their fellow Nigerians or the syndrome of abandoned property?

Honestly speaking, why should anyone in their right senses start talking about Biafra now? Someone should educate me pls.
You do not need education, pal. What Biafra planned was serious flogging amid sprinkling of salts and setting you ablaze. It is only a bloated fool and irredeemable jackass such as you would not fathom the idea that the jungle called Nigeria is a serious joke.

Of course, Biafra would remain delusion to a jackass who did not know there was no Presidential election held in the 1960 jungle called Nigeria. You are a funny slowpoke and your public display is a regrettable letdown on your stocks.
Politics › Re: What Really Is Biafra? by Dede1(m): 5:05pm On Jul 03, 2009
Kobojunkie:
Are Ibos United under this claim of being held a RANSOM? Last I checked, the answer is NO and those with the BIAFRAN dream remain a huge minority, that is why that dream has remained just that, a dream for many, for so long. By the way, weren't the southern states forced to join the UNION back after the CIVIL wars in America? Would America not then qualify as a FAKE nation by your measurement?
It is one thing to be a clown and another to indulge in a clownish display in the public. It is very funny that few folks born out of Nigeria would want us to believe that smartness is part of their biological attributes. However, a trip to Nairaland would expose the sycophancy harboring in many of them.

When the civil war ended in USA, the confederate states were incorporated back into the Union without any punitive measures or institutionalized machination to marginalize the defeated southern states.

There were no abandoned properties, there were no financial constraints set upon the south and the victorious union did not place wedges in the military officer’s cadet intake as West Point and Annapolis military academies were thrown open to the people of southern states.

There was no draconian boundary adjustment predicated upon ceding crude oil producing areas of the confederate states to the neighboring states, the quest for higher learning was not truncated with quota system, economic development that was heavily marshaled to the southern states translated into more functional International airports and other business amenities in south than in the north and the socio-political re-integration of the confederate states saw the southern states producing more Presidents of the USA than the north.

Mere reading from the misguided write-ups posted by few delinquent morons, it is fair to conclude that it does not take a third grader to realize that the jungle called Nigeria is simply a bad joke.

Learn to be civil and stop displaying such crass behavior, because i don't swear at people who don't agree with me doesn't mean the topic isn't serious to me. Learn to debate ideas and not trade insults, it's a very immature approach. It's a forum and you butted in with insults that Bialegend was dishing on a simple opinion given. It's plain ignorance on his part, what's your excuse? I don't have to think the way you do, and i don't regret it for one second. Change, is key!
I hope you do not extend the penchant for lack of constructive premonition on the forum to all your personal endeavors? It is not proper to get silly drunk because you are invited to a free bingeing spree. My tip for you is to look at both sides of the road before dashing across.

Every body cannot be wrong and ndiigbo right. O dabaro ma ncha.

U say ndiigbo are at an admirable social stratum? this should be one of the funniest jokes i have heard in a while. mr. man don't give me all that fancy word play.

A lot of igbos are wallowing in poverty. . .jus like many nigerians are, even in the north. oh check out how ndiigbo abandoned their war veterans to a life of misery. In fact no ethnic group in nigeria has attained an "admirable social stratum." How can ndiigbo have an "admirable social stratum" when their land officially belongs to nigeria through the land decree. act. We don't own what belongs to us and there is poverty. duh! thats why our people are running away, slaving overseas and our women are hating themselves as they put a price on themselves. In alaigbo, you are either rich and connected  or poor and disconnected.

You are amongst the privileged class and your views come from the conceptual framework of the privileged class
.
Who is talking about being wrong or right in the jungle? Nigerians are born to survive. Again, you can not possibly eat your cake and have it. Are you not the person that have previously indicted Ndigbo on the trumped up charges of arrogance linked to certain attributes of the Ndigbo? Why do you not ask yourself the reasons behind the alleged hatred of Ndigbo by other ethnic groups in the jungle?

Of course, there are poor folks among Ndigbo but we have refused to wear it on our sleeves. In most cases in Igbo land, the best students come amongst parents that had to crack palm kernels to make up for their ward’s school fees. Please tell me, do you want Ndigbo to roll over a cry uncle?

Nairaland,by right is suppose to be a forum, where we can discuss about the Good & ills of our beloved country NIGERIA, and look for a way forward. It's surprising to see we ( Nairalanders) pointing fingers on one another & later turning a nice thread into a field of abuses. I could remember, i've involved myself into such act,the reason is that as a Hausa/Fulani i can't watch or even hear someone insult the entire Hausa tribe just because one Hausa/Fulani man did something wrong, it's not fair. Let's kick against TRIBALISM & think of something better, because the solution to Nigerias problems lays with the Rulers & the Ruled.
This is arrant display of delusion and irredeemable ignorance. Did you acclaim to be Hausa/Fulani? You are probably an alien. Nigeria could be known for heaps of stupidity but ethnic group classified as Hausa/Fulani is certainly not one of them.

The current governor of CBN could not have been more correct when he stated in one of his articles that only morons who wallow in the depths of stupor would think there is ethnic group known as Hausa/Fulani.

This is plain ridiculous that this dude does not know him or herself. If you are Hausa/Fulani, I am Igbo/Yoruba ethnicity for crying out loud.

It takes one glorified crazy dullard to notice another. It will be very unlikely that you could be able to discern a qualified Igbo candidate for the presidency of the jungle called Nigeria even when such candidate is placed under your nose.
