ezinne1212:If any person of Igbo extraction should shut the traps up or take a leap in the darkness and still better, jump the cliff, you have earned the iconic plaque on this thread. |
If Nigeria could afford idiotic and demented Yoruba and cow-like slowpoke Hausa, Fulani or Kanuri as president, she could also afford a misguided foreigner such as Igbo as president too. |
@Bros fayahsoul You are very much entitled to your opinions regardless how outlandish they seemed to sound. Look pal, I would not delude myself about the outcome of the civil war. Ndigbo and its ally were defeated in the civil war, hence, the institutionalized and unrepentant marginalization of Ndigbo by the victorious Nigerian side. The properties belonging to Ndigbo had to be declared abandoned, boundaries had be adjusted in order to cede crude oil producing areas to the minority ethnic groups, quota system had be introduced and no more than twenty naira were to be issued to Ndigbo. Amidst all the odds, Ndigbo refused to be neglected and driven to panhandling status. To the chagrin of the misinformed detractors of Ndigbo, who would have wanted Ndigbo to clutch self-pity and pleaded condescendingly, Ndigbo matched from socio-politico-economic abyss to an admirable social stratum. Those who chose to display and admit hatred for Ndigbo in a public domain are doing so within the weight of its peril. To the best of my knowledge, Ndigbo do not give a damnable rat-ass if a certain ethnic group in the jungle called Nigeria hates Ndigbo's traits. My people say that it is always good radiance for the wind to blow so that ass of a hen should be exposed. |
Did their respective constituencies not send them to the federal house to fight for its share of national cake, minor or major? |
Juggling with the idea of going to war based on the illusionary and misguided nomenclature such as “Niger Delta” is by itself foolhardy and idiotic. |
Ndigbo do not owe and will not offer an apology to any dumb ass ethnic group in the jungle called Nigerian emanating from the Ndigbo penchant to succeed in life amidst all odds. It is on record that only in Eastern region of Nigeria that minority ethnic group extractions were allowed to hold executive and authoritative positions before and after Nigeria’s independence. The seemly hatred toward Ndigbo did not exist when Coal, Palm Produce and Rubber were the resource gainers in eastern region of Nigeria. What appeared to be hatred toward Ndigbo by certain ethnic minorities in then Eastern region of Nigeria is planted by distracters outside the region. The moment the crude oil was struck in Eastern region of Nigeria and rightfully declared one of the most lucrative piece of real estate in the world, the detractors went to work looking for means to destabilize the region. If arrogance has taken the places of hard working, penchant for struggle, the need for academic excellence, entrepreneurship, community efforts, ability to explore places of greener pastures and many other attributes associated with Ndigbo, I say, with measured degree of magnanimity, so be it. |
This is vintage Ibime blowing unfounded falsehood as ever. Ibi is an erstwhile piece of jackass whose penchant to fabricate falsehood against the Ndigbo is graded as world class. Admittedly that pint of Igbo blood runs through your almost clogged veins, one wonders what could have happened if such natural phenomenon did not exist. Believe me, you could have been organizing jihad against Ndigbo throughout your miserable life on earth. I shall give you the opportunity to enmesh yourself with the history of Shell D’Arcy crude oil exploration in Nigeria in order to stop making fool out of your sorry self. Your posts suggested that you are ultra ignorance as do many punks of ethnic minority of former eastern region of Nigeria. When your foolishness spurred you to use the name of Dr M I Okpara , development of Igwe Ocha and Niger Dalta crude oil money in the same sentence that conveys debilitating falsehood, I concluded that you are an irredeemable nincompoop. The first ever Nigerian crude oil export came in 1961 and I might add that Igwe Ocha Mbara Ama has became a bustling city through revenue raised by exporting Coal, Palm Produce and Rubber before this date. Shell D’Arcy has full control of the resources coming from the crude oil for five years after crude oil was struck and Northern region of Nigeria had to be fully compensated for footing initial bill of oil exploration in the jungle. It is unfortunate that the most jackasses from the ethnic minorities who are beating on their chest based on the crude oil production in the jungle called Nigeria knew absolutely nothing about deals concerning operations. |
ow11:If you want to dwell on activities of politically-correct court in New York, USA that had entertained the idea of hearing a case which it does not have jurisdiction, I say knockout yourself with your findings. The courts that matter in the case have long given their verdicts and Ken and fellow nine culprits were found guilty as charged. I know for facts that Ken Saro-Wiwa was an ingrate who has done nothing tangible with his sorry life other than proffering treacherous machination to reap where he did not sow. If Ken Saro-wiwa was credible, he would have rejected the Shell-BP scholarship that saw him through the secondary and university educations. Ken Saro-wiwa master-minded the killing of the four Ogoni chiefs because of the leadership tussles within MOSOP. I am only disappointed in the stupid action of Shell-BP by agreeing to payoff the families of Ken and nine that were hung with him instead of putting the money in venture that would have benefited entire Ogoni people. This is a classical example of divide and rule. |
Ken Saro-Wiwa deserved what he got from the government of Nigeria. If he got well deserved news media exposure for his pig-headed political shenanigans, he also deserved the retribution from the Nigerian government. If the action of Shell-BP is meant to compensate the Ken’s family, the families of four Ogoni chiefs and the entire Ogoni people who have suffered the brunt of crude oil exploration, I say kudos to Shell-BP. However, if this action of Shell-BP is predicated on being politically-correct, I suggest that Shell-BP be kicked out of the jungle called Nigeria. Again, I say unequivocally that Ken Saro-Wiwa was a glorified ingrate that bit the fingers that fed him. He was either a son of cook or food supplier of Government College, Umuahia who was struck blind when Shell-BP paid for his scholarship. He enjoyed the patronages of Shell-BP while as a commissioner in River State, though made possible by Chief E. Kobani whom he killed due to jealousy. He never saw the ills of crude oil exploration in Ogoni until he fell out with certain government that did not appreciate Ken’s antics and immediately called them to order. He was among the ring leaders who reaped where they did not sow. I say it was a nemesis that caught up with him. Nonetheless, I wish his soul a rest in peace. |
Ibi You are one misguided son of you know what. I know that someone who had Ijo blood could be a dirty liar and conniving dolt but never knew some of them could be dastardly idiotic. How could you pull out falsehood in a bid to arduously attack the efforts the Ndigbo made in bringing along their neighbors? May I ask you what election where you referring in one of naïve-infected posts? I recall that during the 1962 regional election and 1964 federal election, NCNC swept the polls in the Brass and Rivers Provinces. Out of nine contested seats, only Milford Okilo won a seat to federal house from the NDC (Niger Delta Congress) platform. All other seats were won by NCNC candidates mainly the indigenes of the Provinces consisting Ijo, Ogoni and Igbo. If there was no Igbo blood in a jackass such as you, I would have unloaded well tailored curse on your forbearers. It is no gain-saying that you have never been involved with Inter-high school soccer fight. And there is no doubt that you are a retarded novice on issues involving military parlance. In one of your jaw-dropping posts, you suddenly found your sorry ass in a world of ecstasy as you dialed into your despicable reservoir of falsehood about Adaka Boro military exploits. The less than battalion strength unit that Adaka Boro commanded could not even hold onto a yard of land captured by the entire 3MCDO of the Nigerian army talk less of gaining an inch. I urge you to embark on a research about the disbanded battalion Adaka Boro commanded and you will found the Rivers (Ijo) boys were not even fit for duty. Lastly, Igwe Ocha Mbara Ama (Igwe ocha mbaram) is undisputable an Igbo land. There is no doubt about such deduction as the traditional landmarks within and around the Garden City point to the fact that the city is indeed an Igbo land. The shameful act of declaring properties of Ndigbo in Port Harcourt as “abandoned property” by the Rivers State government led by an Ijo fool could not change what God had ordained. Even the deities in the city have woken against the perpetrators of such reckless usurpation. However, out of sheer magnanimity, Okirika people should also be mentioned slightly along the line of stakeholders in Garden City. |
ow11:@Ow11 I have and would continue to state categorically and unequivocally that majority of Ogoni people supported Biafran course as evidenced from testimonies given by several people and participation of Ogoni stalwarts like Dr. I Kogbara, who was Biafran ambassador in London, Dr. G B Leton, chiefs E. Kobani and Badey. There was no abandon property in Bori or Eleme even at the urging of Spiff then governor River State. The city of Bori looks more of Nkwerre or Orlu than Gokana. As for the Ijo of East (Beyalsa and Rivers states), I say that majority of them were with Nigeria while very few joined the Biafra. There were Ijo stalwarts such chief Frank Opigu (Minister of Land Affairs) and one Major Frank Okilo who commanded the 52 Brigade of “S” Division of Biafran army. However, Ijo (East) people should be held responsible for property and land grab as in abandon property saga in Port Harcourt encouraged by the victorious Nigerian government. As for Alfred Isaac Adaka Boro, he was an agent of destabilization in eastern region who was coached by the government of Tafawa Balewa and northern region under the leadership of Ahmadu Bello. Western region of Nigeria under Akintola made sure that the use of Adaka Boro to subvert peace and tranquility in eastern region was successful Those who bit the finger that fed them have always end up in a miserable death. I do not dwell on the betrayal issues as in the case of Biafra but had maintained that those involved in the Biafran course should not forget the betrayal players. Time will tell. |
Ibime:Ibi Sharraaap there one time, nama shobiri. I was born and raised in that area of the jungle called Nigera. Ken Saro-Wiwa was a noted flippant and biter of the finger that fed him. I repeat, Ken attended Governement College, Umuahia on the SHELL-BP scholarship grant as well as UNN. When Ken was enjoying the money from Shell-BP, did he not realize that the crude oil company’s drilling operation was devastating Ogoni land? As much as I know, at least one of the Ogoni four did not attend school with Shall-BP grant and yet never sought to destroy the presence of the company either. When Ken Saro-Wiwa was a commissioner in the Rivers State, two of Ken’s young brothers were in the East Central State attending high school under the scholarship grant provided by Shell-BP. Ken Saro-Wiwa was a pathetic ingrate. |
It is pathetic that most people are yarning and crying about the child’s play that is unfolding in the areas under the siege by the so-called Niger Delta militants. I say wait when the colonial contraption called Nigeria gravitates towards area of greater disorder, thus, sectional war of attrition. The massacre will be momentous in nature. |
Sagamite:You have proved to be the dumbest fool and latent idiot who have ever visited this forum. The state of your ignorance is so conspicuous and your posts disclose a dolt who knew next to nothing. |
Ken Saro-Wiwa, like bunch of ingrates from the so-called South-south, deserved what he got from federal government of Nigeria. When Ken attended Government College, Umuahia on the Shell-BP scholarship grant, he did not realize that the Ogoni land is being devastated by oil drilling operations of the crude oil company. Also, when he found himself on the academic corridors of UNN, again on the scholarship grant provided by the Shell-BP, he suffered dementia that rendered him forgettable of Shell drilling operations in Ogoni land. Anybody identified as being a glorified flippant and a noted biter of the finger that fed him or her must meet with a sudden calamity. It was long ago that the idiocy being played out by certain ethnic groups in southern Nigeria was tailored to the fear of Igbo dominance, then Shell-BP negligence and recently it had to be federal government injustice. Looking at the antics of certain ethnic groups in southern Nigeria, I should have to agree that the crude oil discovery in the jungle called Nigeria is indeed a curse. As for the death of the Ogoni four, Ken Saro-Wiwa was guilty as charged. He was the acclaimed leader of the miscreants that cold-bloodedly murdered Ken’s rivals and who were indeed better than Ken Saro-Wiwa in any phase of human endeavor. He was the ring master in the circle of back stabbers and ingrates who would turn against the particular finger that fed them. Ken Saro-Wiwa would not have been made a commissioner in River State if not for the efforts of Chief E. Kobani. |
Ken Saro-Wiwa was a glorified flippant that bit the finger that fed him. It amazes me how budding Nigerians would fall for hero-worshiping stunt as in the case Ken Saro-Wiwa. Believe you me, Ken Saro-Wiwa might not have amounted to anybody if not for the Shell-BP scholarship meant for less-privilege but more intelligent Ogoni youths that Ken’s forbearers hijacked for him. These load-mouthed ingrates that are patched all over southern Nigeria who have found reason to trash Shell-BP forgot it was the same crude oil company’s revenue by the way of scholarship that saw through high school and university programs. The forgotten four were Ken’s rivals and by any stretch of imagination better than Ken Saro-Wiwa. The four had always held opposing views to Ken’s and one of them was even instrumental for the post of commissioner Ken held in River State government. |
mafioso:MEND or whatever they called themselves woke up too late. Ndigbo saw this crap in 1966 and decided to put an end to it. However, fools among them in southern Nigeria thought otherwise hence the current debacle. I pray the situation explodes to engulf Nigeria in a sectional war of attrition. I am afraid you wrote like the offspring of the dormant morons who remained demented in1966. |
SapeleGuy:You have a serious issue of comprehension. I would even deny having any form of exchange with you on the Internet. It is either you love flaunting your profound stupidity in the public or you are abysmally ignorant. Anyways, just suit yourself as you wallow in ultra delusion. Again, do you know the reasons the masters of your forebears, in this case, Yoruba, Fulani, Kanuri and Hausa are hell bent in keeping Igbo land in the colonial contraption called Nigeria? I hope you will not fall into the vicious circle of political dementia your forebears were inflicted. |
SapeleGuy:How could you expect sanity to reign when a lunatic backwater pig such as you is roaming freely? If the air is pricey, I would suggest that the price of the volume a punk such as you consumes be tripled so that a painful descent to your grave would be a thing of art form. Please for umpteenth time I suggest you lift your lazy and dilapidated body and get it immersed in the history of the jungle called Nigeria and specifically to the crude oil exploration by Shell D’arcy in Nigeria. Before crude oil was struck in Mid West, the crude oil that was discovered in Eastern Nigeria had spurred the so-called leaders of the jungle called Nigeria to perpetrate war against the oil-rich region. I shell not volunteer to educate you because you have displayed irreparable idiocy on this thread. I read with muted laughter when you raised Ojukwu’s sarcastic reference of “Niger Delta” to a gospel tune. Has it cross your psychotic brain as why the Ndigbo continue to agitate for independent nation? I do believe, if I may borrow your quote, that the “rancid boil in the anus of the Igbo nation” is better than you in more ways than one. At least, it can engender uneasiness to the host. Baring the offshore crude oil, Igbo Land had more crude oil than Itsekiri, Urhobo and Ijo of west combined. |
SapeleGuy:You are simply a disgrace to your people. I have known the people of Urhobo, Itsekiri and even Ijo west of Benue-Niger River, the worst of them has shown a better intellect than your public display of latent stupidity. The last time I check, the MID-WESTERN region of Nigeria was inhabited by many ethnic groups including the Ndigbo. Does it ring a bell in your deaf ears that a SON OF IGBOLAND was the first premier of Mid West? It is act of an unpardonable stupidity that a crop of the delta formed by Escravos, Nue and Forcados Rivers could not tell his or her northern Nigerian masters that the identity of “Niger Delta” is a political smoke screen and tool of marginalization. I thought there was a place called "Lokoja confluence". Please do not include me in your so-called “Niger delta” idiosyncrasy. Give a dog a wrong name and destroy it. Please keep up with the saga of your delusion. Adaka Boro was an intellectual midget who did not even understand that there is absolutely nothing such as “Niger delta”. What has been erroneously branded as “Niger Delta” is actually a delta formed by Benue, Niger, Imo, Anambra, Urasi and Utamiri Rivers. The last thing to cross my mind is to wake you up from your seemly ignorant slumber. |
SapeleGuy:It is unfortunate that the stupidity which has built a hut in you does not even grant you a moment of intellect to deduce that countries are geopolitical entities. From the shape of things, I am convinced that you are behaving like a dog that had a meal of poisoned meat. The poison has rendered the dog demented. With your shaky scholastic pedigree, you still could not fathom that Nigeria has more deltas than the so-called “Niger Delta”. Please be informed that Ndigbo have never aspired to annex any land that does not belong to them. Igbo land had enough natural resources to sustain its inhabitants and make them competitive in the world affairs. Have you asked your sorry ass why the rest of Nigerians were hell bent in bring Biafra into the useless fold called Nigeria? Even with behavior worthy of castigating, your forbearers seemed to grasp the situation better than you have shown. |
udezue:Bros When the fools were lured into a slumber full of decadence by the politician from the northern region of Nigeria, the maggots did not dream of the future stakes. I can not stop amusing myself when I read self-pity and acts of contortion all in the name of denial from loudmouths. The funny thing is that the idiots are still in deep slumber unable to realize which delta they inhabit. |
SapeleGuy:If you think I would waste my precious time educating a wobbling dunce such as you on the internet, then you are irreparably blinded to stupidity? The mere reference to Bakassi in your post discloses your lack of knowledge to the subject. If I may draw a clue from your avatar, I hope you are not remotely identifying your sorry ass as an inhabitant of “Niger Delta” because among knowledgeable human beings, your area of domicile is entrenched in delta formed by Nen River, Escravos (Slave) River and Forcados River. |
beystwin:If you can voice what part of the jungle you called home, I can tell you what delta you belong. The term Niger Delta is foolishly applied to Nigeria politics without the actual geographical reference. Based on the onshore crude oil ranking and baring the draconian land adjustment machination by the government of the jungle called Nigeria that saw many Igbo lands were crude oil is struck were ceded to her neighbors, Igbo land produces more crude oil than any land belonging to other ethnic groups in the jungle. |
Posters must be very cognize of the word “EDUCATION” before using it freely on this forum. I believe the first education is passed from mother to a child. There are cultural, Judo-Christian and Islamic educations. The people of northern Nigeria are well educated as evidenced in the governance of the jungle called Nigeria. Inhabitants of northern region have used the smoke screen of being backward to hoodwink the people from southern region of Nigeria. Shame on you people from the southern Nigeria for being drunk on stupidity. |
@davidif I could have called you names or use few choice words to qualify a jackass such as you but it will not guaranty dividends because you lacked what used to be known as common sense. If Aba or Onitsha was declared capital of Nigeria and national resources were being lavished on either of the cities as the country did with Lagos since 1950s, Aba or Onitsha would have been better than Lagos in considerable phases of human endeavors. Aba and Onitsha are not even state capitals yet they are the only cities in the jungle mentioned in some capacities with Lagos. As a city formerly known as nation’s and state’s capital, Lagos is a stereotype of failure and epitome of social malaise across the jungle. |
The Oba of Benin has no pedestal authority to arduously proclaim a ban on any produce in Benin City. I am surprised that the current Oba would unknowingly instigate bundles of insults to his person through the banning of palm produce because he is vested in swamp of modern know-how. |
Northern region of Nigeria would survive without crude oil from the Ijo land. The so-called “Niger Delta” is ridiculous smokes scream being used by many fools claiming Niger Delta while they are actually inhabitants of different delta formed by rivers other than Niger, Benue, Imo, Urasi, Anambra and Utamiri. Please being informed that Oloibiri is not the first place crude oil was found in Nigeria. As a matter of fact, Oloibiri is third spot crude oil was struck in 1956 after two other places in 1951 and 1953 all in the then eastern region of Nigeria. The northern region has every right to the crude oil being drilled in the jungle called Nigeria. Anybody who knew the history of Nigeria should realize that northern region contributed immensely to the crude oil development in the jungle called Nigeria. I hate to see the people who had wanted zero development in crude oil sector in Nigeria enjoying the resources from crude oil sector today. |

you are busy making mouth here while your mates (MEND) are busy with the Federal Govt. Noise makers like you, Go get a job
