I am not surprise at this alleged crap that ACN is exploring partnership with the USA Democratic Party. There is no doubt the members of USA Democratic Party behave like Nigerians as well as Africans.
You are making what is already bad worse with this statement. Your view supports, and as an igbo man, cements the knowledge that igbo are generally inept in building and sustaining HEALTHY social relationships in a multi culturally diverse environment. You are unfit to lead the nation and you madr it clear here why Ojukwu failed to rise beyond regional power and why no igbo is on the top five list of eligible candidates for the Presidency.
Are you not getting overly excited because of undue tribal pressure? Any Igbo person who qualifies in the same bracket as Obasanjo should be lavishly flogged. I guess Nigeria’s presidency is for drunken fishermen, loudmouthed backstabbers and deluded Almajiri. Abagworo: We can sometimes visit archives to get unbiased information.
I tend to have fun reading your posts at times. However, you must be alert with the historical facts found in achieved states. If you look deeply, you can begin to understand the true name of Ikwerri not modern day “Ikwerre” and Okpo-Mbu-tolu could be Okpo-mba-itolu. Remember that the said migration from Umuneoha in Mbaitolu LGA to Ozuzu has noted connection of Arochukwu peeps too. I guess the so-called Iwhuruoha could have something to do with Umunneoha after all instead of Ewuare.

i have very little to say. like i said b4 i dont know to much about ikwerre and igbo wahala.
But asa for Dede1 its clear that your medula is close to that of an ancient baboon. infact its very clear your one of those nigerians whom come on nairaland

when they english man went there an realised this fact they wanted there own country (usa) this wasnt americans fighting the english man to leave them alone in america. it was the english man fighting the english man.

ive seen alot of ppl on this forum say silly ikwerre ppl in order to protect themselves during and b4 biafra and so on . has anybody thought if this ? > the ppl ur call silly were actually foolish igbos ? i mean use your head ...... then again that is the magnificent brain God gave the igbos . i really dont see the need for ikwerre and igbo to fight. its just like i dont see need for north and south to fight bcuz of religions both of which were either handed to us by white man or arab man. none is of our origin. cool
I really do not think your post deserved a response talk less trading verbal insult with a numbskull such as you. Are you hopelesslly irredeemable to have included a link showing jokers at denial contest? My aunt is married to a man from Umademe and I am very at home to areas in discussion. I could not believe myself that Obigbo will one day be called Oyigbo (very Yoruba sounding) talk less of the certain sons of Obigbo who parades themselves as leaders putting junks about their Benin ancestry. I guess the Obigbo peeps have learnt the act of self denial from Ikwerre. Eche is supposedly elder brother to Ikwerre yet Eche peeps doggedly maintain their Igbo ancestry.

I do not give a rat arse what Ikwerre people think about their migratory point but one thing is certain that few Ikwerre peeps claimed they are not Igbo. It is crass irresponsibility on your part to raise unfounded analogy. When war comes, Ikwerre will defend itself and Ndigbo should have no business fighting Ikwerre.
Sports › Re: Kano Pillars Win 2012 NPL Title by Dede1(m):
dancewith: This is a classic example of the annoying habits of Nigerians. "Only in Niaja" style!. I understand Kano pillars, Rangers and Lobi stars all have a shot at the title, with the final round of matches today. They are all on equal points. Rangers can win at home today and expect sunshine stars to defeat Kano pillars at Akure while Lobi also has a difficult away game. But no, in the Nigerian style, Lobi and Rangers had to lose 6 points to Kano Pillar's 3 and a league title of one year's team effort is awarded inside an oval office. Why must the result involving Ocean boys be cancelled? why not simply expel them?? If this title is copied to the EPL, Man U could have won the title last year if they conspired with Everton to arrange an Everton expulsion.

Only in Naija!
I thought the madness of Nigeria has not reached the soccer decorum. Even if a team is disqualified for infraction, the results of the already played matches remain the same.

Ninapha: . Indeed. The day we seize to be oliver Twist, we stop to exsist. We wd always want more my dear even u.

Now, are u from imo state? If yes, are u talking from d inside or an onlooker?
Let me tell u, the diff btw Ohakim and Rochas is this; Ohakim talks tough while Rochas talk in tears. Ohakim wd say there is no money in Imo and Rochas wd say there is money with tears and later wd say there is no money wit more tears.
If i ask u d agenda of Rochas, pls aside his acclaimed free education what else. Remember there is already UBE program to Jss 3. Now at registering SSCE, u pay almost double of what u wd hv paid for the three yrs.
Projects
relocation of Imo state uni. All na wash. He has ever wanted a private uni for himself.

Payn pri/sec pupils. Do u know how much ROCHAS AND HIS MEN are making in that program?pls tell me what 1mm wd do for ur sibling for a month. Its just an avenue for chop on.
Imagin my mama with her Black skirt and white shirt and tie. Na wah oo. Uniform for teachers.
Which road hv been completed cos i know the one to my town is even a more problem at this time.
Pushing elected LG chairmen out of office. Can we do same to him?
Ohakim gave jobs to d youth, Rochas sacked them with impunity.

One thing stands out imo pple are educated. And he shd not ride our intelligence. There are families wit 9 graduates and not one is employed and he is there sewing uniforms and paying 100. An average family in Imo is academics oriented and any leader who fails to put to the front creation of jobs is already a failure.
The people who navigate to the Internet world to yarn crap are usual suspects that are not responsible to anybody or ward in Imo State. Must people in Imo State, thus praise singers of Okorocha, did not know that UBE program to JSS 3 is free nationwide. The fees for registering SSCE have jumped from 800Naira to 4500Naira since Okorocha became governor of Imo State. Yet the dude talks about free education.

It is a pure deceitful rigmarole on the part of Okorocha to fan the embers of free education to people who could train their kids regardless the price. What Imolites really want are jobs and plenty of jobs.

Rochas Okorocha’s alleged Ogboni diabolical charms are failing him. He has wittingly sold few things that belonged to Imo State to his cronies in Ginikana and Roche. He has informed everybody who won the tenement of lockup stalls around Mbari vicinity to vacate so he can give the stalls to his cronies.

If this Rochas Okorocha is not a big fool, I wonder who is real a ninny. It was not long ago he willingly informed Imolites that Owerri zone has ran out of real estate to accommodated Imo State University and he has decided to relocate the school to his villege, Ogboko in Ideato South LGA.

Now he wanted the same land that was not good enough for the university but his idiotic hospitality. Owerri people simply told him to go to Orlu or Ideato to acquire land for his political cronies because Owerri land is not for sale. I guess Rochas Okorocha did not realize that Owerri is filled to the brink with full and part time lecturers both home and abroad.

a become problem between igbo and ikwerre ppl . may your right i may no nothing much about the great igbo nation but whom is asking ? from the looks of things it seems most igbos are asking about ikwerre ppl.
At the end of the day are we all not nigeria ? and please i woudnt want to be miss understood i do not know everything about ikwerre and igbo ppl as i may self im not full nigerian although i take to my fathers side
thus im my fathers son an a son of the soil !

few will know that isiokpo kingdom originated from benin kingdom .
Certain postulations on the above post are born out of inherent stupidity or machination of stark ignorance. Before any crude oil was struck in any acreage known to Ikwerre, Owaza wells were producing at the same capacity as Olobiri in 60s.

It is very funny to note that peeps from Isiokpo kingdom who now moronically claim Benin ancestry do not know the meaning of Isiokpo. Some ninnies from Ikwerre who claim Iwhuroha had no basic history of Isiokpo.

"If they are discussing , they should know that kogi is not supposed to be
a state."

Okosodo, as the name implies "fall inside a river" should be marked here on nairaland as the silliest indigene of his densely populated fraudulent catchment area.

For your Information, Kogi state is the first administrative capital of modern day Nigeria . It was in Lokoja, that the name Nigeria , was coined by Flora Shaw, the future wife of Baron Lugard , a British colonial administrator, while gazing out at the river that stretched before her in the late 19th century.

Mineral resources include coal, limestone, iron, petroleum and tin.

Now you wondering where I got these mineral resources from? well it has been their even before our fathers. The non-utilization is as a result of negligence, tribalistic cowards and the fraudulent pigs in the F.G who are "only" after their state and region.
I guess you have to read between lines of recorded events about the Northern and Southern Protectorates when you are sober and free of unnecessary pressure from tribalism. There is a difference between Colonial Military, Administrative and Royal Niger Company headquarters. Remember Lord Lugard was a soldier.

Sports › Re: Nigeria V Japan (1 - 2) U-20 Women WC 3rd Place On 8th Sept 2012 by Dede1(m): 10:21pm On Sep 06, 2012
In one of my previous posts, I hinted about the pending demise of Nigeria’s U-20 Women soccer team at the semi-final stage in Japan. Like everything Nigerians do, individual’s glorification tends to take the center stage. Soccer is a team’s sport and also thinking person’s game. To win a match is paramount in game of soccer not the number of goals or who scored the winning goal. Unfortunately, Nigerians like all Africans are burdened with the weight of individual glorification coupled with ignorant praise singers.

The so-called attackers on the Nigerian side hold onto the ball forever expecting to shine by dribbling an opponent. In most cases, these useless attackers loose possession of the ball and give opponent’s defenders time to regain ground. In addition, Nigerians or Africans should always bear in mind they are playing against 12 instead of 11 because in most instances the referees tend to side with their opponents.
Politics › Re: Anambra/Kogi Oil Wells - Ownership Still Unresolved by Dede1(m): 9:44pm On Sep 06, 2012
A block of land that engendered the issuance of OPL does not automatically grant all the acreage of block the term “crude oil producing” especially when flow well is sunk at the area lying in another domain as in the case of block with OPL915. The area with the flow well on the block with OPL915 seemed to be situated on the acreage deep in Anambra State.

I do not think Igbo hegemony is dead if I should heed the regional autonomy calls emanating from Ibadan. I hope you realize that so-called south-east zone is ethnically monolithic and it is Igbo. I really do not understand what the group that gathered in Ibadan meant by the regional autonomy. What regions will this imbecilic call for regional autonomy based? Are Nigerians willing to throttle back to the old four regions? Anybody that remotely thinks that regional autonomy shall be based on the current nonsensical political zones is a basement fool.

Since the so-called south-east political zone is ethically monolithic, it will be a waste of time calling for regional autonomy; Ndigbo had better call for Republic of Igbo land than regional autonomy. This will provide all Igbo people in north central and south-south political zones to have a place they can call their nation or country. Also, the people of Ogoni land have declared interest to form Republic of Ogoni land. I hope there are other groups who would want to declare independence instead of the useless regional autonomy with strong center somewhere in Abuja.

Any Igbo person who buys into this nonsensical regional autonomy crap should be shot. Regions died when Gowon divided Nigeria into 12 states in 1967. As of now, there is nothing acceptable to Ndigbo except nation state based on ethnic and cultural proximity.

CFCfan: Yeah, Esther is very skillful. She should combine that with pragmatism. She can be introduced in the middle of the 2nd half (60/65 min mark) to run directly at the American defense and possibly destroy them with her trickery and speed. Since the match will be played in a blazing hot temperature, the American defenders would surely be near exhaustion during the midpoint of the second half.
Esther is not the only player guilty of trying to shine in the glory of individual goal scoring. Esther and her fellow attackers should be meant to understand there is bigger picture in winning the match than celebrating individual goal. For example, the Nigerian girls would have defeated Mexico by, at least, 3 goals if they were Germans. It is unfathomable a player attempts to score from long range when such attacker could have laid the ball on the path of unmarked teammate.

Commentators and even opponent’s coaches recommend the skill sets of Nigerians but also lament on the lack of concentration and team work. These deficiencies are the faults of the coaches.

If every defender on the Nigerian side plays with the strict determination and non-nonsense approach of their skipper-Ofoegbu, Nigerian girls may have the chance of lifting the cup.

killayut: Shei
Igbo people struggling hard to make KALABARI an Igbo ethnic group, I go laff die, Kalabari was a single town directly Opposite Bonny by the Bonny River and New Calabar river estuary The town like other towns like Okoloma, Tombia, Okrika, Minama, Bille, Nembe, Ifoko, Ke, Soku, Kula, were all Ijaw towns speaking the same Ijaw dialect, The towns of Okrika, Okoloma ( Bonny ) and Kalabari some how became more attractive that Ijaws from other towns started pouring in to them making them considerably larger over time. The clan heads of these 3 towns known as amayanabo AMA- YANABO ( owner of the town ) became powerful and during the colonial era when the Portuguese came tussle for the control of the creek and river root to the ocean to trade with the Portuguese caused rivalry among them. This rivalry led to imperialism. They rushed to control other smaller Ijaw settlments and due to proximity and location the KALABARI king was able to win over majority of the rest smaller Ijaw towns namely, ABALAMA, MINAMA, IFOKO, ABISSA, SOKU, KULA, ANGULAMA, KRAKRAMA and annexed them to be part of the rule of the amayanabo of KALABARI, The Powerful Okoloma ( Bonny ) king gave it a fierce fight that led to the destruction of KALABARI town ( due to internal fight in KALABARI town between Igbanibo and AMAKIRI the king ) The towns under king AMAKIRI remained loyal to him and continued to be under the KALABARI rule meanwhile that destruction of the town led to the founding of Buguma, ABONNEMA and BAKANA. and the town of KALABARI was deserted,

This is a small eye opener to educate you IGNORANTS, KALABARI is not a tribe but an IJAW ENCLAVE,
You have still not indulged in self rumination about the correct historical facts about areas that cover the deltas formed by Niger, Imo, Urashi and Utamiri. It is good to notice you have slightly come back home with the terms such as AMA ONYEABO and AMA IKIRI. I am aware these two terms have gone through mysterious changes. Also I learnt the founder of Bille was one Ejike.

Esther Sunday is one of the most skilful players in the tournament. However, her thought process while on the ball begs for clarity. I think her coaches should seat her down and drill some facts into her senses that winning the match is more glorious than scoring a individual goal. She should be meant to understand soccer is a team’s sport not individual’s.

Also, the defenders and midfielders should avoid unnecessary stylish plays and maintain high level of concentration.
