One would have to believe that your revered Nzeogwu Chukwuma was one such source of failure. That is, if you don't start denying that he is Igbo.
My people say “uneasy rests the head that wears the crown”. You are the dogged exponent of northern and western regional leadership excellence and I guess you can tell if Chukwuma Nzeogwu falls into your silly parameter of such leadership excellence.

Anambra State is the best state in Nigeria and it is in Igbo land. I guess the duo of Chino11 and Okija_juju can now have a rest.

@ndu_chucks

It is good you have voiced out one of the reasons you seem to shake uncontrollably at mere mention of disintegration of Nigeria. Anybody who had links to northern or western region of Nigeria and happens to appear in leadership position in Igbo land has been a source of failure baring none.

Abagworo: Dede1 could you please provide any evidence of these your insinuations because they seem kind of unsubstantiated to me. For example, is there any lingual similarity between Akan and Ijaw to start with? Phenotypicaly, I noticed that they have the same level of darkness but nothing more after that.
I owe no duty of substantiation to any moronic Ijo about their ancestral background. The main denial artists knew when Ijo evolved and how the polity in Nigeria pressured them to slide into the path of perpetual self denial. Even the so-called cultural attire of Ijo reeks of attire commonly found around Akwampim-Togo range.

Ijo are not nothing but boat people who were better known as European porters.

I think you missed the 'koko' of the 'mata'.
Some parts of Nigeria do not care. . .for one reason.
It doesn't change a thing!
Get with the program. . . .would you? wink
Only the Igbos. . . .make it a big deal.
The Yorubas. . .as usual are brokers. . .sitting and watching. . .orchestrating behind the scenes.
The Northerners. . . HA!

Now you see why some do not care.

It is a waste of time. . .ask Jonathan Goodluck. grin

I think you are quite naive to think YOU would sleep well at night if Nigeria indeed breaks up.You must be born after 1970. . . .If you were born during the civil war. . . you would never dream of mentioning the words 'break-up' not to write them. Many apologies.

You are comparing the Soviet Union now Russia to Nigeria? You must be very young. . . very young. Or your memories are failing you. . . before your time. cheesy
I think your stream of though is muddled in hell if you think 1967 Nigeria is the same thing as 2012 Nigeria. Yes, if the USSR and Yugoslavia can disintegrate, Nigeria can definitely disintegrate too.

It is only a moronic punk in the class of character with you and Gowon will dim it plausible to precipitate war of attrition on group of people who really wanted to disassociate with the cesspit called Nigeria.

If your shenanigans are not born out of idiocy, I wonder what really spurs your buffoonery. I have concluded it is clearly due to inadequate education. Whenever you have time to encounter the history of Nigeria, it is written in capital letters that an Igbo man was once a president and head of state of the cesspit called Nigeria.

As succinctly stated by previous poster, there are certain Nigerians who want to opt out of Nigeria whether there is oil or no oil in their domain or presidency or no presidency is zoned to their region.

killayut: The Original name of Brass was TWON.. Europeans called it Brass after the Ijaw phrase Ba-ra-sin when they dont accept a deal. Ba-ra-sin simply means Leave it. The town TWON became known as TWON BRASS.
I did not call you and your forbearers change artists for nothing. If Brass came from Ijo phrase instead of the corrugated metal sheet used in making salt out of sea water, I wondered why it was not Brassama since everything in Ijo’s foolery ends with “AMA”. Did the Europeans forgot something here?

I must conclude you are looking more foolish than your forbearers in the act of self-denial. The majority of people who are latter known as Ijo were from the area of Gold Coast known today as Ghana. They were practically boat people who later moved inland with European explorers as porters.

PhysicsQED: If there is some Ijaw settlement called Uzama then it must be tiny or recent or both.

And you're still an ignorant liar for claiming the Bini Uzama was derived from some stuff about 'Ijaw town.' That's just raw ignorance.
Do not pay any mind to the fool who strayed from the same band of dingbats that claimed jumbo and manila are Ijo. Due to the goofy education handed to them by their ill-informed forbearers, the numbskull thinks Brass is also Ijo.

killayut: Shut up. KALABARI means KALA=SMALL, BARI= GIVE and it is an Ijaw dialect. Infact , the real meaning of KALABARI is PERE-BO-YE KALA-BARI and that is pure Ijaw. Pere in Ijaw means king or leader.BO means individual and Ye is a suffix used to conote belonging or worthy. Now that is pure Ijaw and Incase you never knew I am a KALABARI man and a Pro Ijaw activist. You misunderstood some KALABARIS who you prolly heard saying they aint IJAW. They were not really saying they aint Ijaw. Its like calling an Okrika man IBANI. He would say he is not IBANI but Okrika. That Kalabari man who says he is not Ijaw never said he was not Ijaw per ce . He rather said he was not Izon which in reality he is of course because Izon is the real word for Ijaw. Now the thing is many of the clans in the central Ijaw including Ogbia, Patani, Odi and Biseni have collectively called themselves Izon instead of identifying with their various Ijaw clans and this tend to make them form a group which in the greater Ijaw family is seen by the Okrika, Kalabari,Ibani,Engenni, and other groups as a click. After all There was no word like IGBO before this time as well cos the various Igbo clans rather identified themselves with their various clan names back in the days.
Kalabari is Ijo as Manila is Ijo. Can someone with well organized social order inform this deranged Etu to die a natural death? Culiba, Calabarie, Calabar, Kalabarie, Kalabari, Jos which morphed into Ijo and Brass were handiwork of early Europeans to Bight of Biafra.

The postulation in the above post is the reason I said Nigeria is running out of space for fools. Actually, Fulani herdsmen are not searching for grazing land in southern Nigeria. The problem ensues when certain Fulani herdsmen decide to drive their cattle, on foot through farmlands, en-route to markets in southern Nigeria. If you are not a basement fool as you have demonstrated on the aforementioned post, a numbskull who knew nothing about rearing cattle, you could have readily noticed the deadly risk associated with grazing cattle in tropical climate, olodo.
Politics › Re: Military Declares War On Terrorist In The South-East by Dede1(m): 3:15pm On Sep 22, 2012
This is akin to the manner which sought to fence the garden not the house. The seaports in southern Nigeria are caged with supplicated devices to point out hidden ammunition in containers while the border entry and exit points in southern Nigeria are manned by all branches of Nigerian armed forces, police and custom officers.

It is unfortunate that Nigeria’s border line in northern region of Nigeria remains porous without an ordinary watchman on duty. Boko Haram is armed to the hip because of the open border and free-duty entry points within northern region. Yet the moronic military chiefs decided to look south and especially southeast. One thing comes to my mind about this odd behavior from the so-called political and military leaders in Nigeria. I guess southern Nigeria is the proverbial geese.

Most Nigerians tend to talk about corruption as the main hindrance to Nigeria’s development. But I tend to disagree because the present construct of Nigeria feeds the ever presence tendency to become corrupt. The so-called political and military leaders in Nigeria will do anything humanly possible to keep Nigeria in awkward position in order to sustain their lifestyles riddled with corruption, criminality, ritual, murder, embezzlement, aggrandizement, deceit and wickedness.

The only thing that gives them nightmare is the talk of disintegration of Nigeria.

Anybody who attended the alleged National Summit and Rally for peace, unity and development, organized by the NLC, chaired by one goofy Gowon and still have audacity to yarn Nigeria can not be divided is an incompetent fool. The same fools who started the balkanization of Nigeria by ceding Bakassi to Cameroon played buffoonery in Abuja and have the audacious pedigree to flaunt it. What a country called Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Regional Autonomy Is A Fraud by Dede1(m): 1:15pm On Sep 21, 2012
It is disingenuously lazy for any Nigeria to insinuate that any political action will divide Nigerians further into tribal and religious lines. Are Nigerians not maxed out along tribal and religious delineation now? I dislike Nigeria because it does not genuinely exude patriotism because there are no bases for such thing. Nigeria can be divided into 300 states and 350 regions; it will still not function under one autonomous roof headed from Abuja.

Nigeria needs to disintegrate into nation states which will usher mutual cooperation and competition among the nations. Those who need Sharia law could swim in it while others who want to turn their nation into grazing land can have it too. Also, those who want to turn their nation into kidnapper’s den and land of hard drug can have their wish too.

I hope other states in southern Nigeria should emulate Ogun State’s approach by outright banning of cattle from roaming freely in the state. Cattles must be transported to the market or holding pens though road or rail transportation.

killayut: You are a sick fool. Stop taking advantage of the niceness of Ikwere people. Ikwere people are not Igbos. No one protested when Obigbo was changed to Oyigbo and it is still Oyigbo today. All the ethnic problems in Rivers state are caused by you non Rivers Igbos. ARE YOU AND OBIGBO MAN ? ARE YOU A RIVERS MAN ? NOOOOOOOOOO. So why are you bent on doing what you are doing even when its getting no where . Rivers people laugh at your stupidity and simply let you do what you do these days. OYIGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA has not changed name. Rivers state boundary with Imo and ABIA is the imo river and so villages across the River are not in Rivers state and will never be.And no one talked about all the Villages in the present OYIGBO LGA. Mr change story. We talked about the town and head quarter of Oyigbo LGA which is Obigbo. It was never a town period. The rest of the towns that constitute the LGA are Etche villages and Ndoki villages which were never Igbo villages. The Etche villages were original Etche settlements while the NDOKI villages were founded by Ogoni ( AFAM ) IBANI ( OKOLOMA ) AND OKRIKA ( ABIAMA ). The people of ELEMA are ELEME PEOPLE AND they are a proto Ogoni people. They are not Igbos. They are a sub Ogoni ethnic group. You guys have even tried to say OKRIKA, IBANI AND KALABARI are Igbos so your silliness is understood. I am sure your own state is a useless waste land so you have no time to discuss it. Now stop commenting on Rivers affair cos you are sick and Rivers people do not want you cos you are a fat ingrate.
You are a deluded usu (bat) who knew nothing about anything beyond your dirty nose. To insinuate that nobody protested when Obigbo was changed to Oyigbo is a typical demeanor of a basement fool. I am not surprised you claim to be Ijo whose people have perfected the act of changing names. What prompted moronic dingbats such as you to change Obigbo to Oyigbo yet nearby Konko (Kokom) and Iriebe were not changed?

When Obigbo was ceded to Rivers State as a result of the draconian boundary adjustment, the paramount ruler of Obigbo protested so hard that Rivers State government under Spiff wanted the man eliminated. The brave Eze vacated Obigbo and moved to a nearby community-name withheld. I knew the brave paramount Eze of Obigbo whose son was my schoolmate too. Even when MOSOP was founded, the people of Eleme refused to sign to the declaration stating they are not Ogoni.
Politics › Re: Ogun Halts Migration Of Fulani Herdsmen Into The State by Dede1(m): 3:19pm On Sep 20, 2012
I guess state governments in Nigeria are as useless as the federal government. Fulani herdsmen should raise and graze their cattle in their respective states of origin and move their products through road or rail transportation to markets in the southern states of Nigeria. Any herds of cattle found roaming freely in state with such laws forbidding such activity should be confiscated. In Kano, Kaduna, Zamafra and other states in northern Nigeria where Sharia Law takes center stage, beer and alcoholic beverages have been confiscated and destroyed by the state government agencies.

Rossikk: My friend, think before typing cr*p.

What a comment. Are nations not forged by increased homogeneity? Developing an indigenous national language is one surefire way to create bonds that help achieve national unity.

I'd suggest we go a step further and develop a new national RELIGION as well.

With those two new developments, our country would be a very different place in the next 40-50 years.
I guess you are the person who needs to think before typing. Nations are different from countries. Nigeria is a country that can not possibly forge into a nation by undue pressure of political homogeneity. There are many nations’ states with fundamental and cultural differences in Nigeria that can not succumb to any political changes needed to forge a nation through any form of artificial homogeneity.

killayut: Sickler, No one wrote about or discussed Ogba Egbema Ndoni here. And incase you do not know you should know that the Orashi river runs between the Joinkrama Akinima Ijaws and the Egbema at the opposite side. Now what makes you think Ijaws who naturally use the river for fishing and things never settled at the other side of the river bank ? Do you even know the relationship between the Ogba people and the Ijaws ? Read the history of the Nembes and KALABARIS proper to get an idea and find out why the Nembes and KALABARIS went to war over the control of the Orashi river. The vilage of ORUMA is the cradle of the Egbema Ijaws who migrated up north to settle among the Ogbas. Egbema in Ogba land was founded by Ijaws just as Ijaws founded NDOKI where Ngwa people migrated to live en mass. It all happened like how Oyigbo is happening today. Oyigbo was just a market named Obigbo market where Igbos brought their food to sell along the old aba road. The oldest village in that area is owned by Okrika and it is called Abi-ama. Why do'nt you ask your self why NDOKI land remained sparsely populated and was never known till now. That s cos there were no Igbo natives there. AFAM is an Ogoni farm land long long time ago while Okoloma was founded by Ibani traders and they are the biggest towns there But today Ngwa Igbos are flooding the place and buying land for farming which they claim now as their native land. Oyigbo grew the same way just as Egbema of Ogba land.
Sometimes I can not believe my eyes about the craps I read from this site in particular and Internet in general. I knew Obigbo as the back of palm. There were villages close to Obigbo such as Kokom, Umuebule, Iriebe and Imo River town across the bridge. Obigbo, Kokom and Umuagbai were in Asa County Council later Ukwa LGA before the draconian boundary adjustment of 1976. Even the Ogoni, Ikwerri and Eche person can not audaciously spew this crap about Obigbo talk less Ijo that is as fundamental as Brass. Ogoni people can not even claim Eleme talk less Obigbo. I guess it was a drunken Ijo man that founded Obigbo hence he forgot an Ijo term as a name for the place.

One of the most ridiculous things I have ever read from this forum is the reckless insinuation that Ijo, boat people or Europeans porters founded the Ndokaikpe. The man, Nwagbara which has been transformed into Alagbara and Alagbarie, was an Ndoki man who gave rise to modern Ijo. Remember the morphed Jaja from Jojo was Akwuette.

There is no amount of national orientation that can change Gowon’s legacy from moronic to brainy. He led the war of attrition against fellow Nigerians who just wanted a simplest thing in human nature-to be different. Gowon also lost his tongue trying to speak English language in order to curry favor from British government under Harold Wilson. The Britain\Biafra war will continue to haunt Nigeria until the day of disintegration.

I pray Gowon to shove his idiotic Nigerian national language because Igbo language awaits Ndigbo in the Republic of Igbo land.
