ezeagu: https://dupsies.com/Dstore/images/DPH350.jpgThis is unintentional act of disinformation. |
bright007: @poster $ others:I would like to know d origin of kings (igwe, obi and d red-capped chiefs)in igboland. You are definitely the most confused numbskull on earth. In one thread, you berated Ndigbo by calling them the “most confused set of people in d niger area” based on what you termed as wanting to “claim everything on their path”, in another thread you seemed to make your silly self inclusive of the most confused people in Nigeria. |
bright007: Igbos are the most confused set of people in d niger area. They want to claim everything on their path. They have forgotten dat language alone cannot be used to identify d true root of å group of people. If language, which is a constituent of culture and tradition, can not positively identify the true root or ethnical cradle of the people, what else? If English, German, Swedish, French and Dutch men stood together without uttering a word, you had naturally assumed they were European until they spoke their vernacular then their identities get to their roots. I hope you do not intend to add the reproductive parts of human as an extended identifier of the peoples’ root. After watching the Olympic opening ceremony last night, I am convinced best way out of Nigeria is Republic of Igbo land. |
Of course, talk or act of secession is an innocuous political agenda. Only pigheaded dingbats and most deluded Nigerians would think secession is act of war as being demonstrated on the forum. |
princenayo: Since U allow Ohakim to stay for four years without chasing him away inspite of the fact that wat he could achieve for 4yrs was jst a governors office, so if u say u want to chase a man who has written his name in cold u must be enemy of progress.I do not have qualms if Ohakim had governed for one day or four years. Also, I do not have a slightest hoot if Rochas Okorocha is chased out of Owerri town as I write this post. I am completely surprised that Okorocha’s praise singers have not being able to paint this forum with evidential pictures of Okorocha’s achievements yet. Knowing the antics of deluded and loudmouthed praise singers, it baffles me that these chronic joy seekers have not photo-shopped certain areas of Owerri as tangible achievements of Rochas Okorocha. Recently, rumor had it that Okorochas has jump-started plan B to ditch the promise of four universities in Imo State. I guess this plan B was due to staunch opposition to the proposed move of IMSU to Ogboko, Ideato South LGA coupled with battles Okorocha had with Imo State Civil servants, the judiciary commission and legal defeat Appeal Court handed down to him. I also heard that contractors have abandoned construction sites in Imo State. I urge people who termed Rochas Okorocha as the second coming of Jesus to inform him to respect the political mandate given to him by the politically naïve people of Imo State. It has been blunder after blunder and brazen show of mischievousness since he was elected. As governor-elect, he cunningly sent letter to the banks to corner the funds meant for the state, he sold profit-making ventures in Imo State to Ginikana, an outfit fronting for him and took over the third tier of government in Imo State. I guess a word is enough for the wise because I really want Rochas Okorocha to succeed as governor of Imo State. |
Kobojunkie: And the cycle continues. Why don't people wait to see real results before making these sort of decisions? I mean what is really wrong with the psyche of many who claim to be Nigerians?Point of correction lady, Rochas Okorocha did not coal-tar any road in Imo State except the tail-end of Wethdral road at Ogbo Oshishi. The so-called Okorocha’s road improvement project is centered on the grading of roads without coal-tar which turned some section of Owerri into swamp. It is funny the praise singers of Rochas Okorocha do not know iota of thing about contractual implications in road construction |
@OP I guess there is a saying that dirty laundry shall not be washed in public. It is true that rat at home informed the bush rat there is a smoked fish in the kitchen drawers. |
Rochas Okorocha can not even secure APGA's nomination talk less of running for president of Nigeria. Certain sections of Owerri town have been turned into swamp thanks to Rochas Okorocha’s ingenuity. Contractors have abandoned worksites due to lack of payment for jobs completed. Yet some people from Imo State seemed to be drunk on sentiment and bamboozled by the silly acrobats performed Rochas Okorocha. I am afraid if the fraud known as Rochas Okorocha will not be chased out of government house in Owerri by angry crowd with pitchforks. |
The current land IMSU is sitting on, is a leased piece of land belonging to Federal Government Girls College, Owerri, somewhere at a densely populated region of the Owerri Municipal. Wasting money on 'remodeling' would be kinda pointless, cuz the land no be dem own gon gon.
Did you actually write the land where IMSU is sitting belongs to FGGC, Owerri? It is good to defend Okorocha but to do so blindly does not help our political awareness. Remember Rochas Okorocha promised Imo State people four universities. I still suggest Rochas Okorocha has to build one of the four universities in Ideato South LGA and each in the three senatorial zones. He can not simply wriggle out of this fundamental promise he made to the people of Imo State. |
CAMEROONPRIDE: many uneducated people on this forum....smhYou are very much entitled to your opinion regardless the degree of its shallowness. Evil men on earth can make political and sociological changes that redraw boundaries and grant ownership of certain landmarks to strangers which saw Bakassi as no exception. Even in the so-called contiguous Nigeria, certain communities have ceased to be what they used to be and the inhabitants are miraculously forced into political and social metamorphous. If anybody would have told me that Obigbo will one day become Oyibo and the natives will swear to have hailed from certain faraway distance land across Niger River not even across Imo River, I had busted my veins arguing otherwise. In the 60s, Bakassi was never a contested territory until during and after Nigeria/Biafra civil war. Do you not think it is funny that inhabitants of Bakassi were mainly Efik? Where were the so-called Cameroonians and their ethnicity when the Bakassi was undisputable Nigerian soil? I guess Bakassi could be rightfully classified as the spoils of the war. It is unfortunate Efik people of Bakassi had to swallow this unmitigated neglect and abandonment by Nigerian government. Sometimes, I wished Biafra was success story. |
The symptom and stigma of betrayal follow the betrayer for a very long time while a fellow conspirator enjoys the spoil of the war knowing very well that betrayer is stuck at the middle of the road. I pray you to study the history of Nigeria deeply and you will come face to face the reason behind the country’s backward slide. In addition, some sections of the country have sold their innocent and political conscience as well as goodwill to the level they have lost the pedigree to stand on anything meaningful. Even when it comes to selecting somebody of astute natural quality among Nigerians for a leadership role, the southerners always look like suckers and you will see the likes of Edwin Clark making headlines. |
Roachas is a talkative comedian. Roachas is a bleeping failure, Ohakim was better anyways
Do not mind these drooling ninnies who are baselessly drunk on sentiment. I am very apathetic to the polity in Nigeria and stand to gain nothing from any of these clowns that parade themselves as governors in Nigeria. However, it is fundamentally wrong for jackass such Rochas Okorocha to set wrong precedence in governance when Nigerians are trying to turn a page of book on democracy. I shall not call Rochas Okorocha a failure yet or compare him with Ohakim until he completes his first term in office. |
ABAKA72: Dede 1 or whatever you call yourself, whose side are you?, "your" constitution gives Rochas the right to usurp local authority and at the same time you are kicking againts him, i think you are confused, you are here telling millions of imo people that they are all idiots for voting for a slowpoke, and yet you cannot even organize your thoughts very well, if Rochas is a slowpoke then you most be something less than a slowpoke, tell somebody to teach you how to make public presentations, don't insult an entire state because you are allowed to submit posts on Nairaland, that you don't like somebody's face dosn't mean you should display your bufoonery with hurridly composed stupid post. Useless PDP croock.Granted a sentence conveys a single thought and from the context of the issue in discuss, you should have been knowledgeable beyond an ant to imply there was an omission in the post which I have edited. If you have decided to deduce that the people of Imo State are slow in mental exercise, you can own up to it because my post never suggested such thing. However, there has been a time when majority is found to be hopelessly useless. I do not care if someone embezzles the money allocated towards the governance of a state in Nigeria but I plead with such person not to play me as a fool like Rochas Okorocha is playing with the people of Imo State. I guess only moronic dingbat such as you will stake a hope on Rochas Okorocha or PDP to eke out living which has made you seemed twisted out of human form on slightest innocuous criticism directed to your savior named Owelle Rochas Okorocha. I had wasted no time to suggest that you and idiotic governor of Imo State slam into blazing hell for a change. Owerri has never being flooded in the history of the town but this statement no longer holds water thanks to Rochas Okorocha. |
It is very shameful to notice that Nigeria is filled to the brink with dunces. If I should follow the regrettable illogicalities spewed on this thread, it is safe to assume that GEJ should become the KING OF NIGERIA and sack all governors including the fraudulent and loudmouthed cultist called Rochas Okorocha. Nigeria is attempting to establish a democratic system of government and moronic dimwits such as Rochas Okorocha is amking silly of the attempts. The 1999 Nigerian constitution guaranteed three tier system of government and did not remotely give any governor of a state the right to usurp the authority of local government. |
@OP Please stop this middle age madness before toddlers assume it is normal to mentally deranged. If I had not visited villages such as Osogbo and Ado Ekiti before they become state capital, this rubbish you vomited on this post would have been attracted a second look. Yoruba may have over 6000 villages but do not get delusional about what constitutes a town such as Lagos. |
@OP This is arrant nonsense. Is it not the military that saw Nigeria in this unprecedented slow of progress? All the ground rules of moral decadence in Nigeria were established by moronic military off the back of Gowon. You can not eat your cake and have it. It is the same Nigerian society that produced the men and women in military seconded the ones in politics. We should stop talking about change of government in Nigeria because there is no system of government that will make progressive dent on presently configured Nigeria unless such government is led by God. Nigeria needs to be disintegrated so that certain section or sections of the country will mutually agree to become patriotic neighbors. This will start healing the wounds caused by the civil war. As far as I am concerned, Nigeria/Biafra civil war is still raging because of indelible socio-politico-economic stigma created in 1970. |
The Imo State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Soronnadi Njoku is disgrace to legal profession. What was the “course to due process” did Rochas Okorocha follow when he sacked democratically elected LG Chairmen? Rochas Okorocha should not be allowed to enjoy any moment born out of democratic principles. |
Yes, president of Ogboko Village in Ideato South LGA. This fraudster can not snag a second term as governor of Imo State talk less of president of his imaginary country. |
@ Crayola1 I must applaud your effort in putting this points about Odinani or Omenala together but have issue on the origins of the shrines as it pertains Amadioha, Igbo land, Ozuzu and Ahoada LGA. I am sure that Ozuzu is not in Ahoada LGA. It could be between Ikwerre and Etche LGA. Ozuzu could have be the famous home of Amadioha as most people know it today. However, the main shrine of Amadioha is located in Umunneoha in Mbaitoli LGA in Imo State. Till today, the people of Ozuzu and chief priest of Amadioha in Ozuzu must pay yearly visit and homage to Umunneoha. |
Sometimes, people seemed to be drunk on stupidity. What the hell will Igbo person wants from a long-irrelevant Ika Nation as the moronic original poster would want to us to insinuate? |
@OP Dull versus adventurous (rivet) mindset. The Europeans are always thinking to explore, conquer and overcome the unknown while earlier Chinese are like Africans who were only interested in their limited knowledge of things without further exploration. Our forbearers were stuck on old ways of processing palm oil until Europeans came and introduced oil mills. Africans are also unbelievable cowards, blamers, misguided critics and easily deceived. |
afam4eva: I will never use the word "Technically" again. It is an evil word.Bros, “technically” is not an evil word but we must be careful when using certain words in a non-technical debate. There is absolutely nothing technical about someone’s ancestry or the components (culture and tradition) that point to such claim. |
Andre Uweh: They were sacked because they were not elected. No one voted for them. We do not need them back in Imo state. It appears you know more facts about the local government election in Imo State than the Appeal Court. I guess the talk of democracy in Nigeria is a total waste of time and resources. |
chino11: This will help school you further:After the so-called visit of Israeli government delegates to Igbo-Ukwu and saw the cultural similarities between Igbo and Hebrew, why did they not conclude Hebrew (Ihieburu) and Israel (Isizere) are lost tribe of Nri? Why on earth must it be the lost tribe of Israel instead of Nri? |
From the face value, ChinenyeN’s “technical” comment could ruffle feathers but when viewed with unbiased mind, ChineneyeN could be sincerely correct. I guess ChinenyeN did not mean how Igbo people who termed themselves as Ndigbo but I believed ChiN referred to the figment of imagination of pseudo-Igbo people who no longer view themselves as Igbo as in the case of Omoku and land sale hoopla. In fact, the maggot who started this thread expected this inconsequential discontent among us. As for the alleged Omoku issue of land sale, no reasonable Igbo person would bat an eye-lid about it. The only people I pity in all these anti-cultural behavior by Ikwerre and Omoku people are their Offspring who will bear the brunt of their forbearer’s stupidity. Nigeria is an experimental process that no one can predict when it will end but the path is obviously clear. |
ROSSIKE: I don't blame you. Is it not the wretched colonial mis-education that's turned you into an ignoramus blowing stupi.d grammar? Go to Botswana today. It's black Africa's most advanced nation and the least corrupt nation on the entire African continent. So what differentiates Botswana from everyone else in Africa? You are a typical example of moronic dingbat who continuously sets Africa back. A lapper such as you allowed the misplaced sentiment of a foot solider cloud your stinking deduction. You referenced Botswana’a development in your goofy post but ignorantly failed to indicate how such development is rooted in African culture and tradition. I had expected you to tell us means used by the Botwanans to covert the straw-roofed houses into straw-corrugated cooler for a mansion. You have no pedigree to lambast anybody who criticized Oba of Benin as a misguided sojourner on a deliberate mission to denigrate our culture when the Oba himself abandoned anything about Edo culture to attend Kings College in Lagos and further went to London the home of colonial master to get baptized. |
In 1954, Zik appointed a Yoruba the first press secretary of eastern region. |
Most Nigerians are morally, intellectually and politically bankrupt. Why should GEJ's married life become a subject of political discussion? Was there any precedence to politically dissect the married life of Nigeria’s president? If so, how many wives do Shehu Shagari, Musa Yar Adua and Obasanajo have? Is it no longer African culture for men to marry more than one wife? When Europeans use choice words to describe Africans, most Africans get twisted out of human form. It is unfortunate Africans create situation which engenders derogatory statements from Europeans, Asians or Americans. Anybody who calls his/her mother ugly should not expect me to hold his/her father in high esteem. GEJ has every cultural mandate to marry as many wives as he could and still remains the president of Nigeria |
copying and pasting without understanding e no good at all. Some people funny sha
The copy and paste artists on Nairaland are local agbaya. They are really out to decimate people with ignorance. |
I have once been told that narcotic and Islam do not get along very well. Does this NDLEA suggestion deduce Muslims are bunch of hypocritical zealots? |
seanet02: Mehn this is stvpidity of the highest order!!! Imagine the oil companies taking forty percent?? mehn this country is sick. Death to nigerian Oil industry!!What a joke. fall from a Mango Tree. |
