For every single criminal caught, hundreds still roaming on the streets and chance that they will ever be caught so thin. That said, 8 years for a crime that is worth almost 50 million pounds, isn't it too small. The justice system all around the world just favors crime, IMHO

Education › Re: Six (6) Most Expensive Secondary Schools In Nigeria (alarming School Fees) by deebsman1(m): 11:20am On Jun 29, 2014
HAH: Such schools are actually created for social and class segregation as well as networking among the children of the rich, at end of the day they will form a strong alumni where they help each other through out their lives.

They don't want their children to mingle with the classless and poor, the parent usually can afford even 10M school fees, we are talking of the children of CEOs, top government, and diplomats.

I know of an international organisation that pay their staff children schools fees up to $15000 annually per child.
u summarized it all

Agu nnewi: This is turning into something else, may God protect you guys.
Turning to something else or Has already turned to something else tey tey. We will just need to endure dis boko haram menace for a long time to come, maybe 2015 or 2019 when the clueless would have gone, cos its so glaring this people/govt are not ready to fight them geniunely. If the boko-haram can be using anti air-craft (AA) guns against our gallant Nigerian soldiers with just a AK47, i wonder how they can defeat those terrorists/insurgents, i think its simple common sense. I know that some1 will argue that the army are well trained than them, Agreed but when other factors come playing in, one will just realize that, the govt we av ain't ready to fight those thugs. Imagine when the soldiers are only being paid just 200 dollars(30k) per month to risk there lives and even that 30k is still being cut down by some ogas @ top, heard peace keeping mission allowance is 1000 dollars per month, tell me if u r soldier, maybe you won't be motivated to fight in such course. You send troop to field with a strategy to use and b4 they reach where u r sending them, u've exposed and even send d same strategy to their opponents. Its already a lost war. Just on the news ydai, a claim that the boko haram insurgency has directly or indirectly affected abt 1.5million people and we as a nation/pple are all looking, our future. smh
God pls bless my hustles quickly, i want to relocate to a sane society.
Travel › Re: How To Make It As A Nigerian In America In 2014 by deebsman1(m): 10:53pm On Jan 10, 2014
lemler: My own example, livin in NY, in 2005:

Salary: $53,000
Less tax: Approx. 17000 (you pay more when you are single-and you pay to the fed. Govt, Newy York state and NY city)
Less Rent: 12000/yr ( sharing a 2 bedroom apartment), but was lucky I did not have to pay electricity and gas
Less Car note (loan) 3600/yr - for a 3 yr old used car -can be more or less depending on your credit score
Less parking: 1200/yr ( my side morror was stolen when I parked on the strret)
Car Insurance: 900/yr
Cell phone: 720/yr
Internet and TV: 960/yr- (you get deals, but they expire, but you can call them thay you will stop your service, and they will tell u to pay same amount)

Now, I had very sparse furniture ( I would never pick up things from the street , which some people do), but if I bought on credit, I would have to pay it back.

Now magine if I had a child. Or two. Or 3......
Do u know that everything you listed above and claiming you are paying money on are just big luxury to 95% of people living in nigeria. Point is if you are offered a service and you are enjoying the service, pls stop complaining cos u must pay for a service offered and enjoyed. If an average nigerian could get just 50% of the above listed, there won't be any reason to be hustling to want to go and die in "cold" oyinbo man's land.

worry 359: Getting EMPLOYMENT visa is almost impossible. That was what "Visa lottery" did but it is now closed.
You may be able to get buisness visa to visit & buy cars but it will not be simple, and will be for limited stay.
You probably need registered buisness paying taxes at home and an invitation from an American company.
So in short, d visiting visa is useless if some1 plans to use it for other purpose
Travel › Re: Usa Visit Visa by deebsman1(m): 11:27am On Jan 09, 2014
tzetzefly: Working with a visa category which stipulates visit, medicals etc other than employment, is a ground for arrest and deportation if discovered by security operatives. The culprit should also kiss a future visit to the States a goodbye.

Except you get married and have kids who may eventually file for your immigration back to the U.S. at a future date when they come of age. This is still subject to an over-riding immigration rule.
embarassed

11 guv'nors on d platform of APC already (maybe its going to b 12 after anambra (s)elections, wu knows!). Another 7 warming up to join the opposition, making 19 out of 36. D mathematics is gerrin more obvious by d day, may be by (s)election day 2015, GEJ will b left with less than 10 guv'nors on his side or beta still dis same 17. We all knows as nigeria presidential elections dey b, that d state guv'nors used to have a lot of big influence in delivering there states, 19 states in d hands of opposition with the main cities of lagos, kano, PHC and onitsha all in d hand of opposition. GEJ shld start packing his kaya from ASO ROCK cos I wonder d kind of rigging they will have to do to bring them back to power. "U Only rig where d competition is close"
