brogxy: Go to that same review thread, then let them know he has paid if the thread is still open. Or better still, go to trip and select "I want to refund my rider". I want to refund my rider? It's like the driver will be left with nothing for that particular trip o. He should read and read again before submitting |

Read this thread from the first page to the end. You'll be a pro theoritically
He will finish reading by December lol. He should just start from the middle, most of the info on the early pages are now obsolete |

Fahrenz: when you wake up on any day with a 15k target in your mind, divide that 15k by 2.
When you make 7500, go offline and go and sleep for four hours. Wake up and go get your remaining 7500 before you sleep again. You won't feel tired or sleepy On point |

Epphy: Hey bro. How do you manage go get this much and still sleep for 8 hours? Days I net even 15k on weekdays, I get home earliest 11pm and if I want to achieve same the next day, I would need to leave by 5am like the previous day.
I know it's easy for people that have 5 houses in Lagos.
Let me learn from you. Many of us have only two houses, but one of the houses is everywhere. If you know you know |

Fahrenz: I understand you points. HP is not for everyone but that doesn't mean it won't work.
No one can drive 730 days without hindrance and when I said 730 days I didn't mean it in a stretch. No one signs a contract that doesn't allow for hindrance. We are humans.
My point is from a positive perspective.
If a Toyota corolla is totally sound, engine, body, gearbox and suspension it is very easy to achieve HP. I gave that guy a number of factors that would make him successful and if he sticks to it, he will be fine.
If you can consistently net 120k in a week and you have a good maintenance habit and saving habit, you don't need two years to complete the hp. You need those factors I mentioned, focus, and commitment.
A tokunbo corolla can go straight 2 months without needing anything more than an oil change. And if he uses the extended performance oil, 3 months before oil change. Let's not talk as if cars break down everyday.
At 120k a week, he owes only 35k.
Do you agree that with the remaining 85k left from that week, it is enough for him to fuel the car, eat, recharge his data and airtime and then save at least 25k weekly?
If a driver on HP can save 25k weekly, by the 12th month, he has saved 1.2m and has paid out almost 1.7m. If he decides to pay 900k to the car owner from his yearly savings, how many months do you think is left for him to complete the balance?
Don't forget the month of December.... Don't forget.
I understand that it is impossible to some drivers, but HP is very achievable if all conditions are met, especially focus and determination.
If you make 15k daily on weekdays, and 50k combined on weekends that's already 125k.
Someone like me will dust this HP but I agree that everyone doesn't have, not share my mindset.
Facts only I'm sorry for quoting you, I hope you won't call me names this time. Can any driver do 120k weekly consistently for a year? |

aaronson: Situation like this is the reason comprehensive insurance is always advisable. Anyways, since it's glaring they at fault. Draft a list of your repairs and how much it would all cost and let them have it before negotiation begins. Maybe he should draft the list as you advised and wait to hear what they have to offer first, if they offer below expectation then he can hand it over. I do that with some certain offline clients and most times they pay more than what I have in mind to charge |

One must be smart in order to drive happily in Lagos You're very correct. I do that whenever I go to marina. Lagos island is at the bottom of the list of my preferred destinations, chest always beating when dropping off rider, especially the slow riders lol |

She knows how to dish it but don't want to be served the same meal.thats hypocrisy or double standards, if you ask me. An observation should not be met with defensive mien, but a constructive one. You just kinda wonder the kinda nerve touched that warranted the insults she be spewing. She's also a fraud for not paying for the service rendered even if it was inflated. Posting of unverified travels on whatever class , does not absolve her of blame. They both have criminal tedencies.

Rider: where are you? Me: I'm at Spar Lekki. Rider: then why are you calling me? You should only call me when you get to my gate. I even thought you were at the gate. Don't call me again if you are not at my gate. Me: okay ma..have a nice day. And I happily canceled the trip. Life's too short to stress myself with unruly riders... Rather than having a bad trip which would boil down to a bad rating I totally avoid such trips. Nice one |

Fahrenz: What a moron_
If the driver had ended the trip as he was supposed to, would we be here debating? The driver was dubious, simple! Blacklisting the card was the best thing to do. What if the driver decided to drive to abeokuta and ends the trip at 25,000? I know your dumb thieving ass would still be supporting the driver while asking that she should pay 25k since she claims to be able to afford first class? What a discombobulated moron_
SMH. People like you should never be allowed to: 1. Have an opinion 2. Reproduce
So according to you Arabian mumu, international flights only take off from Lagos, therefore, one cannot connect a flight from mma2? Or because she mentioned when she returns to the country automatically means that she travelled out of the country on that very day and therfore has no rights to be in mma2?
You are a complete moron_ Why will he do that when he's not you? You're the only driver on earth smart enough to do that na, why do u keep quoting me? Stay your lane na. Okay I know you just came across the word moron_ and Arabian mumu, i've heard you. Can you shut the fck up now? |

Fahrenz: I've always known you are a First Class moron_ from your comments and my instincts never fail me.
Cool down and re-read this idiotic beer parlour reasoning you typed here. So you expect someone to pay for a service that wasn't used?
So because she was in a hurry and wasn't patient enough to wait for driver to end her trip, that has become a crime? I find it more disconcerting that you didn't find wrong in what the driver did. After being in the airport for so long, the trip was still ongoing, you Arabian doofus. Blacklisting the card was the best thing to do at that time simply because the trip has not ended. The driver had not ended the trip and there was no way she would have known how much the trip would have costed or when the driver would have ended the trip.
So according to your pepper soup logic, she should have waited till she was charged by taxify before making a complain, knowing fully well that a snail responds to complaints faster than taxify does? Who are you again? Shift abeg I can't read your bad handwriting |

pooozeee: You are very wrong, blacklisting the card was the best choice. Ask oga gazzuzz here how many times drivers have inflated his fares, he would pick up his phone and report and sometimes get back more than the driver "stole" if I'm not mistaken, fine if the only option you could think at the moment was to blacklist the card, then what step are you supposed to take next? Just walk away and be glad you didn't pay at all. How is the innocent rich rider different from the fraudulent poor driver ? |

gobuchinny: You guys really don't get it and it baffles me the level of exposure...paying the money is not the issue but being cheated is clearly the issue...even if someone is worth a billion they value the essence of money...you don't take money from them but they give you...she paying for that ride is taking from her because the service was not rendered.
If you read her message well you will see that the driver did not end the trip till much later...personally I have been treated this way by a driver and know how annoying it is.. please let's always respect ourselves...if you have been privileged to work with extremely rich people that work for their money legit you will figure out easily what I'm saying is true.,,,dey dont dash you money but make you work for it...it's mostly yahoo boys and politicians or people that make the money illegitimately that throw money around...any hardworker does not Simply report the issue and you'll be refunded, she blocked them from charging her for the fare and they kept sending her messages but she ignored instead of using that as an avenue to let them know what led to what, how are you sure the driver truly did what she claimed and that she didn't have it in mind not to pay at all and decided to come up with a ridiculous story? |

frugal: Agree that you misyarned/goofed. You think everyone who comments here is an hungry Uber investor who used their last cash to buy corolla and now looking for a miserable N30k/week salary.
Next time when a rider brings a complaint here, be a professional and educate them. Something like: "go to your app, do a fare review with detailed description on exactly what transpired. Taxify would investigate, and not only will they refund your money, the dubious driver would be punished accordingly". Now that's a much more matured reply and would have earned you her respect instead. Does this place look like taxify office or do I look like taxify customer care agent? It is not my job to educate her. If she's wise enough to block taxify from charging her card then she is wise enough to contact them and report the incident but she didn't. She is dubious and she came here calling a driver dubious. And how did I "misyarn"? That I asked for correlation between "MM2" and "when I return to the country"? And about anybody who comments here, If you're not in uber business or planning to invest then you have no business being here, read the topic properly please Hungry uber investors? What did you search for that brought you here if you're not hungry too? |

ifyalways: Dec last year, late 20's. I Requested a ride on a Sunday morning from Ikoyi to MM2. We arrived the airport, I was already sort of late to board so I just picked my luggage and rushed in without confirming the fare and/or if the driver has ended the trip.
After all the check in formalities, a quick meal and waiting to board, I checked taxify and lo and behold, trip was still ongoing. it was a card trip so first, I quickly blacklisted the card , then waited for the bill. Days later, on arriving to my destination, I got a mail that i should fund my card or add another payment option for my ride with a whooping bill of 12,300
I no bother to reply them sef. I'm just curious now, will the driver be paid by taxify? I earlier thought of going to taxify office when i return to the country to officially complain but on second thoughts, I changed my mind . I am not understanding |
