ameristu: Reading the past comments, it just really hurts me seeing Nigerians fighting each others like this. It just tells how far the country has deteriorated.
A lot of this fights and strikes can be avoided if we had a good government in place, the government would come into play by having a minimum take home for every worker. The minimum take home for every Uber/Taxify driver should be at least 100k a month, so if you are renting it would be less that that.
This fare matter could have easily been passed on to the government and the government would have been able to come to a reasonable fare considering the traffic condition and state of road in the state but this is not the case so all these multi nationals treat Nigerians with no respect which is very saddening.
Every Nigerian is their own government, fighting for their right and fending for themselves.
Please let us all get our PVC's and do the right thing.
SN: With this new rates even people with corolla's are having challenges meeting up with their remittance. Unfortunately there's no correct answer in the options, pvc solves nothing |

taxiappguy: Hello everyone, I'm excited to bring this to the group. It's a new money making opportunity for Partners and Drivers. You get to make some good money by the side while doing absolutely nothing extra!
How? Taxi App Guy is partnered with a firm that specializes in in-ride entertainment and advertisement to your rideshare cars.
How does this work? We place high quality screens in your car. These screens broadcast interactive and highly engaging content to your riders as you drive them around. The more engagement the screen in your car gets the more money you make. And the best part? The screen is totally free to install. You don't have to do anything else as we send content into the screens, all you have to do is keep taking trips as you normally would.
We are running a pilot program for the first 5 people to test out the screens in their vehicle, during the pilot period we we are simply testing out the product and so won't be sending any payouts. We start sending out payouts when we launch. Of course the first five people get priority when the actual program launches.
If you are interested in participating in the pilot, please mention this post. The first 5 eligible partner/driver gets the available screens.
More details coming.
Taxi App Guy The screens, do they have USB port? I'm interested |

styveke: Has anyone ever been pressed while in traffic and with a rider? It happened to me two nights ago.
I was on a trip to Badore from UNILAG. We got into the Lekki link bridge traffic just b4 the roundabout and with a full bladder...it was a painfully slow moving traffic. When it got to the point where I couldn't endure it any longer, I asked my rider who was cuddling his babe if he can drive and he said no...
At that point I couldn't reason straight, I just put my car in park and asked the guy to come and drive the car that I'm about to pee on myself, I didn't wait to hear his response...I jumped out of the car, jumped over the divider and in less than 2 seconds I was on the other side of the bridge. I relived myself and also ignore passersby with a straight face.
I turned and I saw my car moving slowly in the traffic...I thought to myself, see person wey say he no Sabi drive o... When I caught up with the car, I tapped the window and signalled the guy to stop. See the relief on his face eh...the guy was actually saying the truth, he no Sabi drive.
The car in front of me was a high end SUV...a 2017 Lexus LX 570 jeep...wetin I for do if to say the guy jam this jeep from behind?
I don't even wanna imagine it. I've left my car and rider at one of the lekki traffic lights before and eased myself beside the express there, lights turned green and I began hearing horns everywhere, in my mind nothing is stopping this weewee. The woman has been complaining of me not moving very fast that she didn't have much money on her so I was expecting all hell to break loose but the woman just started laughing that "that thing go don hold u reach throat o, the way u take jump out and this one wey u no fear make dem catch u for express wey u dey piss" I just smiled and said now I can safely drive fast |

My point is, don't hit on your passengers. There maybe instances where both the driver and the passenger may click gbam but this happens often via intelligent conversations not hitting on someone unnecessarily like you be Anthony Joshua. Many |

dru23: Sorry I can't help u on that case... I had a similar experience. My 07 elantra was shorten oil . The previous oil before that was the local oil of the 5k ..basically the engine was abused... at the time my driver was topping oil every other week ..there was no sign of any leak and eventually the oil kept drying up So finally I had 'ring' the engine, it cost me over 150k pictures below ...so if I was to guess the engine of your car needs either "ringing" or new engine. . Using thicker oil will not solve the problem it is a short term fix.. You might need to replace the engine eventually.. Engine is still very sharp, quiet and doesn't smoke |

smatt1711: you sound so insecure, like you don't trust your wife, any man that trust his wife will just laugh it off, because he knows 100 trials will surely fail, but look at you shaking and reporting to uber, this is what you get when people don't marry there match and partner. Don't just open your mouth and talk, if your wife reports such sensitive matter to you, you don't laugh it off, you take it up and do something. From your comment I can deduce you're not married, when you finally marry your match and partner, you can keep laughing it off when guys start harassing her outside until she's raped, well you can laugh that off too. Shit happens anyways right? No shaking |

radautoworks: Your car uses 0w20. If it's a 6 Cylinder, 5w20.
You need
4 bottles of http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=CQO&partNumber=CQ900 for N13,840
5,000 mile Oil filter http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=RFI&partNumber=R84145 N1,486.
OR for v6 you have two oil choices
Conventional http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=CQO&partNumber=CQ610-5QT N9,735
Synthetic http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=CQO&partNumber=CQ920-5QT N16,728
http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=RFI&partNumber=R85348 N1,486
Labor for oil change including free car check and fluid top off is N2,500 Thanks for this detailed info. It's 4 plug with over 170k mileage, bought 3 months ago (toks). Oil cap says 5w30 and that's what I've been using but it keeps drying up so gazzuzz recommended 5w40. As 0w20 is thinner than 5w30, don't you think it'll dry up faster? |

Pls what happened last December? Nobody wan talk Nevertheless he should report, by the time 2 or 3 riders report the same issue about the same driver that's enough proof |

lagostaxiguy: Hello house, I requested a ride for my wife to be taken home from office yesterday as she was too tired to drive, the driver after informing him that he was picking my wife, he still got into the vehicle and first question he asked her is her martial status, she confirmed she was married but that didn't stop him from hitting on her and telling her how beautiful she is and he really likes her and also insinuating how good he his in the other room (indirectly), she told him he was not been professional but that didn't stop him, he chatted until he dropped her and still had the guts to ask for a hug infront of my house. I am very upset, I called him immediately she informed me but I'm not satisfied with his silly apologies because I'm very sure he will do it to other women, should I go ahead and report him to uber? As somone who also drives in the platform, I know uber will not take it lightly. Report straight!! What insolence, someone like that can rape. He's just not in control of his sexual urge |

MobilityExpress: You just posted another incoherent rubbish! Really it’s a very dumb comment, because I don’t even have any Kia Rio put for sale, so who am I trying to convince to buy? And I don’t even know Gazzuzz, never had any dealings with him. Where’s the asslicking? You just keep throwing directionless punches in the wind with making fake accusations and unintelligent rambles. From Kia Rio is a problematic car, to it has no value, to your gf bought used Kia Rio for 800k and sold to Cars45, to you can fix all of a Corollas problem for 50k, to i’m asslicking Gazzuzz and. I’m yet to read one single meaningful statement from you. And I don’t even think you have ever owned a Kia Rio yourself, so how can you be a final authority, a judge and jury at the same time to conclude Kia Rio is a bad car? Very baffling! And the only frustrated person here is you. Nobody is responsible for your misfortune that your girlfriend was so broke she went to sell her Kia Rio to Cars45 for 165k. Stop hating on Kia Rio for nothing. Kia Rio isn’t responsible for your girlfriend’s failure in Uber business. In Mortal Kombat, this is where they say.. FINISH HIM!!! |
