cutosinyahoocom: Hello Taxity/Uber drivers.
Presently working on a project and your input is needed.
Working on a Fuel credit card for uber and Taxify drivers.
This card will allow you buy fuel on credit from specified stations. For a start, all drivers will have access to N5,000 fuel credit on their card. This amount is increased as the driver pays back.
My question"
1) As a driver, will you want to use the card? 2) If repayment for a N5000 fuel is N5,350 for a 7days repayment, will you use the card? 3) If there is a promo rewarding you with a N750 call card for using N20k fuel in a week, will you want to use the card?
Your input will be appreciated. Thanks Yes I will want to use the card Interest of 7% is not too high so I will have no problem with it I won't use the card just because of promo.. Promo that I will still lose money I will only use the card when I don't have money for fuel. The promo is a good initiative though |

pope191: Boss u r not getting it, you won't even get to hear a sound or see display on your phone. I just saw another one now dropping my activity scores without even noticing anything last night This is the reason I stopped chasing taxify bonus, if you can remember when they used to do week long bonus of 20k and 40k. At almost 10pm on the last day I completed the last trip to get 20k. I just went offline and went to a bar to relax cuz I was so stressed out. I ordered a bottle of beer and I smiled to my phone in the process of checking how much I've made so far plus my 20k bonus. To my surprise I only saw green bar, no yellow bar on top (you know what this means if you've chopped bonus before lol) In my mind maybe they've not updated my earnings. Out of curiosity I clicked on the bonus page and saw "red". My heart skipped, then I slowly read something that looked like a death sentence.. Acceptance rate less than 95 % How come? I went back to check my trip history and on the very top lied this "driver did not respond " staring at my face. To cut story short no be me drink that beer wey I order When I'm finally ready to retire from this strenuous biz, I go collect my money las las, cash trips all the way. Before dem block me I don recover my scammed money |

emirex50: After somebody somewhere will say that 75% of policemen in Nigeria have mental issues. How about the likes of you that will "cross a road before looking bother ways"?. Did you try to consider the facts that; 1. I may or may not have seen those post you talked about? 2. I may or may not have contacted the people who made those post that I may or may not have seen? 3. I may or may not be a new member on this platform? 4. There may or may not be people who are new to the business and just wants to contact interested drivers directly?
You would think you have done me a favour by starting your advice line with " You are not ready" to a person that you are not even familiar with. You failed to consider how offensive and demeaning that line is to the person you are addressing, whom you are not familiar with. To top the icing of your abusive advise you sarcastically called me a chairman to mock me. Well I claim that chairmanship position. Thank you.
I have only spent this time to reply your quoting me because some impetuous person would think you made sense here when in fact you have succeeded(almost) in destroying the hope I have in the effort I have made to finding a tangible legitimate job for myself.
It is important that as Nigerians, we learn how to address people properly for our coexistence(or not). We all come from different tribes and tongues and culture. Let us learn to choose our words carefully. Words are powerful. It can build and it can also destroy!
So my brother, the next time you wish to give advise on a public platform as this, I would suggest you thread cautiously as you might not know the temperament of the person you are addressing. I chose to overlook all the insults, the only part I chose to see is the highlighted part above. One of the last things I would ever (intentionally) do in my life is to destroy someone's hopes of doing something legit to succeed. So I'll give you my advice again in a more explanatory way. If you have a car that you want to put on rentals, you won't come here and start reading loads of posts searching for a driver who might have dropped his/her number, instead you will drop your number for drivers to call you. So try and read few pages back to always check if there's someone looking for a driver, you will quickly get a car that way. I hope your hope is restored and I wish you the best of luck As for your temperament, you'll have to work on it in order to be successful in this line of business. You call me senseless? Believe me.. I'm still a learner in senselessness compared with many of the riders you'll be carrying. Good luck bro |

sgtponzihater1: One luv. getting a sound tokumbo corrola. Think more than twice especially if it's all you've got you're about to invest. He said getting a driver is not a problem which is true but not the answer to your question. Getting a reliable (hardworking + trustworthy + good car handling + smart + etc) driver is a big problem, it's all down to good luck. I wish you good luck |

Rubbiish: The RIDER is the real king, regardless of the time I see many drivers make mouth here and i laff One thing every driver should know is that, the moment you carry a rider, he automatically becomes your employer, it is simple logic, because you are working because of him. So when i see drivers rating riders one star for uber to block them, i just laff. Any business man here will know that you can sack 20 employees in a day and get same number of replacement in the same day, but any organization that will block only 5 customers will take time to replace them. Rider is never my king, even uber or taxify is not my king. You cannot afford yellow cab you now want to be king in my car. You do anyhow I end your trip and drop you at the next available bus stop. If you want to be king then pay good money |

lexini: It’s not by force to go to any location But don’t say the rider should call and tell driver his location, is he begging him? If drivers are location crazy, they should call the rider immediately and ask for location... It's like you're a new rider, don't worry just few cancellation fees is all it will take to change your arrogance to humility |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by deedee44: 1:08am On Apr 06, 2019 |
lexini: TThis is nonsense. Why should he call to tell the driver his destination? Is it a free trip? Won’t he pay for the service? The rider, not the driver, is king!! Lol king lexini, so because you will pay then he HAS to go. You either learn the easy way or the hard way. Your choice |

suco01: Uber drivers stop being fraudulent. I request for this driver, he called told him am at omole phase1 gate. He came told him my destination is satellite town, he said he is not going, he left while I was trying to request for another uber was told #400 will be charge and added to my next trip. Some drivers and fraud. Bros that is not fraud, you can call him unprofessional for asking for /rejecting destination, to avoid this next time tell the driver where you're going immediately you request so he will cancel right away if he's not going |

Rollitout: Yes go to Mobil filling station in Ogba make sure u av empty tank, buy ur 2k fuel, u will definitely get an half tank, u can equally purchase from a lady to minimize the possibility of inconsistency, the two managers of that filling station don't sit and relax in their office, they are always monitoring the fuel attendant closely. You will even find customer complaint number on the pump that is if u still doubt the fuel u av purchased then u can call
So 4k will fill up your tank. Less than 30ltrs. Okay |

Hustlersdiary: Good morning everyone if a rider is on promo, does that mean Taxify or Uber would not pay the driver for the ride? Cos I once used a promo code on one of my rides, when I got to my destination and the driver saw that the fare was low and I told him I was on promo the guy mood changed once I had to tip him. I'm curious I just want to know if Taxify and Uber give riders promo code at the expense of the drivers. The driver will be paid at the beginning of the following week, mood may change if driver already had plans for the cash.. Plans like getting fuel, buying food etc |
