dru23: The state that am from in the USA, uber is lucrative compare to other state.. But people still complain and groan etc but uber is still providing a lot of jobs .. So in essence uber has taken people out of unemployment.. Don't get me wrong at all ,all the uber drivers that drove me in my state .. complain bitterly and they want to see some improvements... but these same people that are complaining are still driving... Why shouldn't they complain bitterly when the hardship is too much? and why should they quit when there's no better job? |

And you think the same number of riders will remain?
Maybe we should ask uber why they slashed by 40% in the first place We should focus on quality, not quantity. If we continue in this direction very soon we'll be dragging riders with danfo |

Xneg: What is the solution to riders lying about their destination when you ask them? I usually don't ask during the day but at night I must ask because I can't go to unfamiliar places. So I picked some girls from badore, they were going to a club nearby, they could have simply walked, when I asked she said she was going to vi, I got to pick up and started trip as soon as they got in, I saw 5mins, I was like please update the destination, one of the girl was bold enough to tell me she had to lie because 3 drivers had canceled and so that's what they do when they are going on short trips? I was upset because it took me more than 15mins to locate her place and about 4km from ajar underbridge. No solution bro, just swear for them and move on |

Megadrop: Please has anybody experienced this, at times riders call comes to my Airtel number and the number is not the registered number on my Uber and Bolt accs. The registered number on both apps is a glo line and whenever the Airtel rings after accepting a request i will know it's the rider and when I check the glo line phone it's either its off mistakenly or o network on it and Tax ify and Uber already confirmed I have only the glo line on my acct. You have forwarded your glo calls to your airtel line when glo is unavailable |

DJperdurabo: Greetings All!
Please, I would like to know a fair amount to pay an offline driver for a trip to Babcock University and back. The driver is billing me N40k as he said he will be spending the whole day with me.
Is this a fair price? If this deal is still open, kindly whatsapp me on 08038017623. You may like what I have to offer |

maczig: Abeg make una help me. my car Honda civic 2006 has been behaving funny lately. Car becomes very very heavy on the ground and sluggish when ac is on and the fans are working but lightens up as soon as thermostat stops the fan and becomes heavy again as soon as fans starts working again. This issue gets worse in slow moving traffic and I hv to match down the throttle very well most times for the speed to increase. My mechanic has checked plugs and coil and fuel pump serviced but it persists. Rpm flunctuates and when it goes below 500 the car will want to off when idle or in traffic. Did you change or work on the compressor? When I had similar situation my compressor was the culprit. Ac man put a wrong compressor and as soon as I changed it to the right one problem solved |

Superior complex worry all the old drivers, Mr we know it all.
You have been in the job for long, what's your achievements? You should actually advise yourself more.
Meanwhile.
Back to 25% Uber fee. Well I've achieved what you're just dreaming to achieve but without making so much noise like you. I have seen clearly that your mission here is just to promote uber so this is the last time I'm quoting you. Like my boss said, we know people like you, many have come and gone before you, you will soon join them. |

dru23: You catch them when they are young.. He is young man ,better for him to hustle now ,than when he is old.. The sun don't shine forever bro.. If he works hard now and set himself up very well.. By the time he starts a family, things will be easy for him .. Again if he continues like this by the time he marries ,he would have either had his own fleet of cars or other business.. But the point is you have to start early and young.. Ask Dangota ,Bill Gates, Odetola and co ... the earlier you start, the more time you will have to correct mistake.. Business is a learning tool ,you make mistakes and not easy to correct Why are you spoiling naija billionaires names na, thank God u don't know my name, u for don spoil am too |

jesusson2020: So what are you saying? I should quit driving? And look for another job?
I have posted where I earn 69k, 80k plus. With the zero percent commission, I have opportunity to earn more.
With my current savings plan, I will own a tokunbo car in one year 6 months.
I have no one to feed, just myself, for me the future is bright. My little advice for you. As you're working hard, also find time to unwind. Your enthusiasm is good but don't just work and work otherwise you will burn out. I've spent long enough on the job to see hardworking drivers sleep on top speed, some made it some didn't, that won't be your portion so rest is paramount. All the best |
