I fully agree with what you have said. Additionally, a one day test drive will not be a bad idea for someone who is willing to pre-pay or front a security deposit.

A new driver that doesn't know Jack about cars, what does he know he's testing apart from just moving the car around. Owners should just try and be sincere about the condition of their cars

You are not renting the car out so he can eat, you are renting the car out so you can make money. In actual fact, he is renting the car from you so you can eat. Unless of course you don't take a remittance.
There are people that rent Uber vehicles and pay out of pocket just to have a car to drive around in.

When a driver pays #Assurance, he is your renter/hirer. At this time, he is boss.
It is when you fail to collect #Assurance, you can start to call the person your driver, It is now you are boss. Before that, he is your renter.


Partners often misinterpret their roles and therein lies the problem. A vehicle owner's job is to provide an Uber enabled vehicle. What the driver plans to do with it is his business. So long as it is covered in the Rental/HP agreement (which I have for sale for a small token).

In fact the driver can rent the car and be using it to pick only ladies if he wants to, as long as he makes the car payment every week or as stipulated in the Rental/HP Agreement which you both earlier signed.

That is what every car rental agent in the world would do. As long as what he is using the vehicle for is legit and covered by the terms, and he is using the vehicle in a responsible manner. Whether Uber pays on Sunday, or Togo got to the moon before America, that is renter's business to ..........

Personally, I go into Ajao Estate because, apart from waiting for airport trips alone, I can get other trips from surrounding areas - Isolo, Oke Afa, Ago Palace, Okota - usually on surge; + I get to walk around, stretch my legs and get something to eat. You can't do all these in airport area.

As per traffic, 15 minutes max, you will be there - international, local or mma2; but it's always good to call the rider and let him/her know. It's surge, most will be grateful they even have a car to wait for at all

I've parked there before and got taxify request, I gave the rider my ETA and made sure he was okay with it before even starting my engine. Riders are not gods, all it takes is a simple communication and little understanding. I went as far as letting the rider know I didn't have money for car park and he agreed to pay and deduct from his fare. At the end of the trip he still gave me a tip of N500. Though yeye taxify didn't include parking fee in the total fare, I just used the tip to cover up

He posted his earnings part time. I spoke to him and he said it's all about planning and positioning. Plz don't come out here and give wrong information. Read the threads and learn from guys that are doing it. I meet another young man on these forum. He posted his last week earnings on taxify. He was looking for a car to drive. The 03 camry he has was too old for him and giving him bad ratings . I call the young man up. Coz I posted a 04 tokunbo civic. The young guy can't be more than 24 yrs doing uber. He said work is going on. That has he is speaking to me a request just came in.
One of my guys on the forum has not driven for months. Waiting for a new car to drive . He drove this past Sunday back to back request. He drove on Monday from 5am to about 1pm made 10k. He slept for 2 hours and started his evening shift at about 4pm and made a total of 16k for the day
I have reliable people on these forum that I can ask questions and they can give me an honest answer. So bro either you are lazy or u have no clue on what you are doing.
