I wil advise u take the next 3 months to study the material well and learn hml, css, javascript, first.
After that start learning about backend development with node, creating APIs,. Then learn react, understand Test driven development, agile methodology, learn basics of sql query, restful Api, Es6
Then u should be at least ready for the boot camp
Am not sure 3 months is enough depending on how fast u can learn and understand d basic concepts.
After learning all dz, what is now left to be learnt in the camp grin

I stand to be corrected my ppl. I strongly believe that loading and offloading is part our responsibilities.
...It's just like you opening the boot for customer to start arranging their luggages by him /herself, what would you expect from such customer?

It's the customer service that keeps the job running if not many would have stopped using us, and go back to the local cabs.
Yes it's your responsibility to come down, open gate, drive in, come down again and offload, carry loads inside the house, then drive out and close gate. Just don't ask other drivers to do it, that is not your responsibility. wink

Am not blaming the woman, if ur property is missing from the whole incident, the driver is the first suspect coz he stopped. I blame the Sarz I'd!ots that torture somebody as a form of investigation.

It has happened to me before, I took a rider from Maryland going to gbagada ifeko, when I started the trip he asked if I knew gbagada very well, I said No coz I hardly go to that place because of the constant traffic at that deeper life church side, we got to deeper life,
the google map was misbehaving we had to ask somebody the road to ifeko, the guy directed us, buh am not sure the guy knew what he was saying so I ignored his direction and continued with my misbehaving map, suddenly the rider started shouting that am going the wrong way from what the guy said, I said bros I knw, that guy doesn't know what his saying, so I stopped and asked another person, so we got to a place I became confused, I had to use my map, the rider started shouting that I shouldn't worry that when we get to our destination he will rate me poorly angry angry angry
We couldn't say anything again since he already made up his mind.
So I got there and ended the trip, he said I should wait so he will request me again to take him and his pal to Eco Hotel, I heard Eco Hotel I couldn't say no, so I waited.
He and his pal came with lots of luggage, bads and laptop printer etc.
We got to Eco Hotel I ended trip helped them offload there stuffs and left, becos of the stress and headache that dude gave me on the first trip and it was raining, so I decided to go home.
On my way home close to my house, this dude called me that I should check my car for his laptop and printer, I stopped and check n saw nothing, I called him to tell him there was no laptop n printer in my car, he started shouting again that is in my car, that I should bring it back or he report me to Taxify for theft, I told him bros am very sure I offloaded ur laptop and printer at Eco Hotel my self with ur luggage, he was still shouting and saying I should come back to Eco Hotel, I told him I can't that am done for the day plus the heavy rain too.
He just said don't worry I will hear from Taxify, I said okay am waiting on taxify.
I called him that he should request for Eco Hotel CCTV, he will see when I brought out his laptop for him, he said he has seen the video that I did not bring it out that am lying shocked shocked shocked
because am so sure I brought it out, I told him bros you're lying watch that video again. He cut the call on my ear n said I should wait on Taxify. Me Okay

After 1 hour later he called to say that it was Eco Hotel security that was with it, that he doesn't know the guy intention, I wanted to tell him thunder will fire him for accusing me, buh he cut the call before I could talk back.

I just said you're lucky I'd!ot
How could you not blame the woman when she could have prevented all this by just being patient and follow the driver back to the airport, mind you those SARS acted like that because of the way the woman presented the case, she must have claimed that the driver connived with someone to set her up or something. I blame the woman and as for the SARS, we all know those ones are animals who will do everything to impress who is about to feed them.
That asides, which one is ECO HOTEL, lol grin

A Taxify driver, John Otuechere, who was wrongly accused by his passenger of stealing her bag and eventually tortured by the SARS operatives she reported to, has filed for charges over violation of his human rights.

The driver added that he was arrested, detained and tortured on the order of one Mrs Alice Isah.
Taxify will not see this now and support the driver, if it was the other way round they will be the first to carry it on their head and start shouting we have blocked the driver, we will investigate, we will hand him over to blah blah blah..... Stewpeed people

Lolzz, I met one driver like that the other day he also challenged them when they called him that he also told them to f.ck off. And that he doesn't care if they are going to block the account that he will even open another one immediately and start using it even without sitting for their yeye training. I shock that day.
They've called me before too because a rider complained fare was too high, she was just ranting on the phone that I should have reviewed the price blah blah that people that work for taxify are.. I just interrupted her that madam people that work for taxify are in the office. I don't work for taxify, taxify works for me, you look for riders for me and in return I pay you commission. She sha say dem go comot the excess from my account I say no problem, dem still never comot am since last week, make dem no come block me next month too cuz I said those things out of annoyance biko

Thinking is better than not thinking. In that vein, I commend you.
There are roundabouts that have only two exits, the one you are coming from and another one on the left.
As you are approaching the roundabout, that nice-but-insistent lady that lives inside Google maps will tell you, "At the roundabout, take the first exit".
Because you are just approaching the roundabout, you may not know the features of its exits, or if Indeed there is one on the right. When you get to it, you might find the only exit is on the other side, the left side.
My point is "At the roundabout, take the first exit" doesn't always indicate a turn on the right. Sometimes the first exit requires you to go straight.
While your right turn statement is true and I agree with it in a general sort of way, i also feel it is not precise enough. It might mislead.
I would recommend following the lady's prompt and counting the exits instead. First exit is first exit, second exit is second exit, and so on.
Hence the word "usually", not always grin

Google is not 100% accurate, it has carried me to a footbridge before and insisted I climb with my car.
But I still swear by it because, by God, the places Google map has taken me to or out of. Sometimes I feel like praying for the app and blessing it.
Google is so accurate, when you are driving it will even show you exactly where the curves are in the road.
I have driven on a dark road and I had to speed. I couldn't really anticipate the curves in advance, the road was too dark. But Google had my back, believe that I was steering with the help of Google maps. Instead of looking at the road for curves, I was looking at the map and the road. Like in a video game.
Google maps is great, bruh.
Google Map is a great companion, sometimes I talk to it on my phone when I'm driving alone. But but buttttt I never try that thing wey you do before. Google Map won't tell me there's a broken down truck on this dark road, no.. no I don't think I will try it, I will never

Goodmorning and happy Sunday.

I remembered when I tried correcting a driver on this thread, some lashed out at me.
Let me give few tips...
1. Greeting your rider should be a must, if your rider replies or not shouldn't be your business.
If your rider replies, good...
2. Take little things into consideration. There are things you can't really control, such as nature. When your rider isn't comfortable, maybe he or she got cold, catarrh, sneezing/coughing, it's wise to show a bit of care, offer a wipe to use, ask if he or she needs water to drink, 50/100naira from your pocket won't kill you.
3. Don't start a conversation except your rider initiates it, if your rider initiates it, know how to maintain professionalism.

4. Use a mild body spray and airfreshner.

There are so many more...

Well, that's a pix of me for those who wanna have an idea how I look like...
Nice tips. Some uber short trips are worth N300 net, in that case buying N100 bottle water for rider will keeeeee me trowey, but I can ask if he or she needs water and I assist by using my horn to get water seller and wind down. I still try nw
