How much should I compensate a driver monthly to drive maybe 10 hours a day 6 days a week?

In Ghana I dunno but in Nigeria, the question should be.. how much should a driver compensate you for giving him your car to drive for maybe 10 hours a day 6 days a week?
IMO driver can compensate you with 100k-120k

Don’t want to get angry and end the trip, cos if I do that’s bad ratings 4 sure.

Personally, I go into Ajao Estate because, apart from waiting for airport trips alone, I can get other trips from surrounding areas - Isolo, Oke Afa, Ago Palace, Okota - usually on surge; + I get to walk around, stretch my legs and get something to eat. You can't do all these in airport area.

As per traffic, 15 minutes max, you will be there - international, local or mma2; but it's always good to call the rider and let him/her know. It's surge, most will be grateful they even have a car to wait for at all

I've parked there before and got taxify request, I gave the rider my ETA and made sure he was okay with it before even starting my engine. Riders are not gods, all it takes is a simple communication and little understanding. I went as far as letting the rider know I didn't have money for car park and he agreed to pay and deduct from his fare. At the end of the trip he still gave me a tip of N500. Though yeye taxify didn't include parking fee in the total fare, I just used the tip to cover up

Smh, you must be a driver. I own cars on the platform . And each cars deliver 40k a week. 07 elantras non of my drivers are complaining. There was a young man on these platform daveone . He posted his earnings part time. I spoke to him and he said it's all about planning and positioning. Plz don't come out here and give wrong information. Read the threads and learn from guys that are doing it. I meet another young man on these forum. He posted his last week earnings on taxify. He was looking for a car to drive. The 03 camry he has was too old for him and giving him bad ratings . I call the young man up. Coz I posted a 04 tokunbo civic. The young guy can't be more than 24 yrs doing uber. He said work is going on. That has he is speaking to me a request just came in.
One of my guys on the forum has not driven for months. Waiting for a new car to drive . He drove this past Sunday back to back request. He drove on Monday from 5am to about 1pm made 10k. He slept for 2 hours and started his evening shift at about 4pm and made a total of 16k for the day
I have reliable people on these forum that I can ask questions and they can give me an honest answer. So bro either you are lazy or u have no clue on what you are doing. The people that are getting requests don't have two heads now. Change your thinking and move with people that you can learn from. These is the reason why the rich move with the rich. And the poor stay poor coz the move with each other. Do your homework before coming on the thread to complain about the market been flooded. Every fleetxpert shareholder must be held accountable and treated as a potential criminal until proven otherwise. My own narrative is my drivers will be on a 70/30 EARN AS YOU GO and not some current market pricing weekly block payment, that way everyone is on checkmate.

I just remembered a case of a fraudulent driver, he signed up for an impossible target,
and guess what he did? He wakes up 5am, drives till 10pm and hands over the keys to his unemployed friend who drives from 10pm- 5am and pays a daily fee to him for use of the vehicle. Basically car never stopped working.

driver paid weekly payments with ease, owner was happy until........

With 17k in 14hours you can still pay 50k. If you remove the amount of wait time, I see no stress in this job.

They did the same thing to me despite having spoken on the phone with me and even met me with the owner and discussed how to "put me through". He kept disturbing my ex-partner to give him the car while it was still in my care. Big boss didn't give him anyway so i just looked away

Riders can only rate you if you start the trip, so if you just cancelled then your poor rating is definitely not from that particular rider

Good day all, I was in the filling station from 3am to 7:30am before I could buy fuel.

I got a request around 8:30am( sleep still dey eye).

I went to pick the rider going to Airport from Katampe extension estate(Abuja). The cost was #3,000.00. I humbly Begged we do the trip offline and we bargained for #4,500.00.

I explained y we should do it offline. 1. I can't pick a rider from airport. 2. The fee is too small 3. The stress of sleeping in the filling station to buy fuel.

She agreed and we cancelled the trip. When I check my rating, she gave me 3 star .

Whatever GAZZUZZ want to charge for talking to clients on the phone is not my problem.

I only gave advise that work for me regarding air condition.

I have once called GAZZUZZ regarding a problem, all he told me is 10k diagnosis, I declined and check with the other mechanic, and that work for me, and much cheaper to compare what he is charging.

We all know that ipekere and plantain chips are the same but we choose to pay more for plantain chips because of the packaging. It's a matter of choice

From the samples on display, its safe to say Uber is more rider friendly than driver while taxify is more driver friendly than rider.
The taxify pickup location my have an unseen boost. U never can tell.

Wait till you have an issue with your fare, that's when you will know your true friend. From experience, one will abandon you while one will be there for you

Don't argue blindly with carshopper ... I manage with proven facts ... 2years running (one vehicle break down, 4 still on point, same Driver for the past 1year)

To begin with, it's N60/km and not N55
Then where did u hide the N200 base fare and N11/min.
Using your 100km case study, some assumptions must be included so the calculation should look like...
60*100 = 6000
11*300 = 3300 (assuming it takes 5 hrs to complete 100km)
200*7 = 1400 (assuming it takes 7 trips to cover 100km)
Therefore gross = 10700
Net = gross - fuel (in the absence of other expenses)
.: net = (0.75 * 10700) - 2100 = 5925
Still a very low return on investment IMO

Car counsumes 14L per 100km
assuming fuel price is at 150

Hence 14 * 150 = 2100 (Fuel cost)
55 * 100 = 5500 (Gross earnings)
0.25 * 5500 = 1375 (Uber commission)

2100 + 1375 = 3475 (Assumed total cost)

5500-3475 = 2025 (Profit or assumed Net Earnings)
Does that mean to get 20,250 Naira profit i need to drive 1000 KM?

Any PROFESSIONAL driver that cant drive Manual transmission is the lazy type... I dislike AUTO.

That's not my point sir, I actually meant the extra stress that goes with manual. You body complains quicker than when driving auto. There shd be a little compensation for that
Besides.. in my driving history of about 15 years, 80% of the vehicles I've driven so far are manual

Would he have done the same thing to a passenger whom he's sure could overpower him in a fight?

He is suing after breaching contract, taking to an unknown location (his house) against her will - after which she removed key from ignition, touching her without her consent - after which she used the pepper spray on him.
As much as I pity the guy, he took too many wrong moves.

IMO, you're not a driver, and if you are then you don't drive at night. You need to be in the guy's shoes to understand the difficult decisions he made
