One person can be an uber driver, bolt driver, and a cabucabu driver. It's the trip that defines who he is at a point in time

You have good motives, but unknowingly you're doing more harm than good. This heartless touts we have governing us in Lagos are always looking for who to extort and this has made us their target.
There was a time lastma held me when I just started this hustle, I used the pity card on him.. that guy man is just struggling to survive in a legit way. Lastma gave me N500, yes you read it right, lastma caught me and ended up giving me 500 at TBS (the one on bike) because I explained to him I didn't even have fuel and no money to buy fuel and they drove my car for like 20 minutes threatening to take me to their office.
Try telling lastma or anyone story now, they will tell you you guys are making big money, because of dashboards like this and they don't know what you'll have in your account is barely half of what is displayed

I already gave the answer on what Uber/Bolt will say when somebody advised him to report the trip, so reporting was a waste of time.

That guy should just forget about that money and move on.

But I doubt he will because he sounds broke, arrogant and childish, tagging all drivers "criminals" is enough to even ignore him.

One mind was wishing he would give me, the other was saying how would you collect that kind of food. I just said O Lord let thy will be done, and he did not offer me food.

Request came in to freedom way from Dr ladi, a #500 trip. Decided to take it to complete my bonus yesterday.

Got to PU rider insist I should drive in, immediately I had this weird feeling, I drove in to pick her though with the gate opened. Got to freedom way a request of 1.6x came in to VI and rider said I shouldn't pick cos am taking her back I told her sorry I already did, she said I should cancel though i ignored her.

Got to freedom way she brought out some money from nowhere and stared sharing 1k each to the plantain hawkers as we return back to her home. The money was remaining 500 and I knew she'd want to pay me with it.

Trip ended 900, asked for my details and transferred 700 claiming she had exceeded her limit then dropped the remaining 500 with her in my cup stand. I left the money there with touching it.

Later something told me to throw the money away but I decided to send her a message to come take her useless money before she regret it. She replied I was stupid since then to word from her again.

What do you advise I do?

I withdraw my statement, its only God that knows who is fraudulent.
The guy called me back now that he wasn't the one that picked earlier, that it was his brother, that his brother just told him that some people called him when he was not around.
Why would his brother be picking his call and be telling people wrong number.. I dont know too.

So he explained that she (the rider) said she transferred 5k and he told her he didn't get it. Madam can you post evidence of the said transfer? This happened few weeks ago

It's the right number. I reported through the Uber app and on their Twitter but they said I paid with an unsupported method (how were we riders to know that only cash or card are the officially allowed payment methods on Uber) and they can't retrieve my money.

He's the one, I've called him too. He said wrong number. The guy is a criminal, we even shouted on ourselves before he banged the phone on me the second time. He should be dealt with

Ok, SOME Uber drivers are criminals...feel better? Yes, I can use 50k to make sure I retrieve my 4800 from the rogue...if he can cheat someone who tried to help him, God knows what he'll do to other riders

You can click on the trip on your app and report the incident to bolt (with proofs if possible), he will be blocked.
You can also drop the trip details and his number here so we can frustrate his life with calls

Uber drivers are criminals as well. I transferred an amount higher than what I owed for my ride and Tolulope Adebola Okeowo an Uber driver has refused to refund my money. He's blocked me but I have SPY policemen on his trail already. He's a disgrace to his family.

It's not the typical uber trip in my opinion - return journey would take half a day at least, and going with someone who knows the terrain would be an added advantage. I guess I'll go ahead and book online if I don't find someone by Monday.

I don't live on the island but coming will not be an issue if 20k will not be an issue
