My ac cools so well in the morning and at night but small sun like dis it won't cool , I hv been wondering what could be the cause....my ogas in the house

When you're in the sun and your AC is not cooling as it should, rev the car for like 10 secs. If it cools then your compressor is probably weak and not pumping well.

Thats the only one I know.. from my own experience

So you think in all my active years of driving I wouldn’t have experienced such a rider or even was scenario ? Trust me I have met 99% of different manner of riders in Lagos.
I will even say the hustle is better now with ride request. Request full everywhere during the week and anytime of the day, there was a Thursday I was getting request back to back like weekends.
There is no time I put on Uber and bolt that I won’t get request in 10mins unlike before that you wait. Even d last time I went to ikorodu I got two request back to Lagos before I drop off rider.
I didn’t drive this week doesn’t mean I have less experience.

Abeg ooo, my eye dry red ..my compressor got burnt last month i had to buy another one but to my surprise my ac stop working yesterday only for the technician to tell my my compressor don burn again..

This one pass me o. I suspect wiring/electrical issue somewhere that is frying your compressors.
I will also suggest you use another AC technician

Okay. noted. but which oil will you recommend i use ? i bought the car has tokunbo, i have only services it once and thats when i notice the shortage. the oil that came with it never went short at all....

If it's shortening because the piston rings are worn out from high mileage then i think you will have to switch to 20w50. That should stop or reduce the shortage.
Ask the pros in the house for further advice

Ur mileage is not high, mine is close to 300k miles and sound well but shorts oil.
Call the previous owner to tell u Wich oil he uses.

If u use the car on e hailing ensure u change oil at 3k miles

This is one of the bad reviews about this car.
But before we conclude, ask your mechanic to check the oil seal but if the problem persists, just know say na the 2004 Model problem be that.
I'm not an expert.
My advise is based on the lamentations of 3 2004 Camry owners i eavesdropped.

Same with 2 2006 my own inclusive
If you want to buy camry, just start from 2010

What is your car's mileage?

If it's high then that may be the cause. I don't think there's anything you can do than to continue topping it.

Which oil did you use.. mineral or synthetic? And the viscosity 5w30 or 20w50?
If it's 5w30, try and use thicker oil like 20w50, maybe that's what previous owner has been using so if it might be too late to go back to 5w30
