He might be talking about himself.

We doubted 300k+ monthly when someone posted he's been making that since the beginning of the year and showed it when he was doubted.
Yes I know it's achievable, but not without stress

Don't quit your job.
If you can afford to buy a car, buy it & put it on rental or HP and stick to your job.
Get all the required documents, insure the car comprehensively and do your due diligence on the person you'll be giving the car to.
People are built differently. There are folks who have been on the job for over 3years without any major illness & there are some who are battling ill health due to the stress ehailing subjected them to. I'm not sure you're ready to drive 3years straight in Lagos. Reason that matter abeg!
Also, rumour has it that LASG are planning on rolling out SUV & cars for Ehailing.
Even if you eventually lose the job or decide against it later, you would have saved a substantial amount from your salary & rental fee.
The joy you have when you know that a certain amount would be credited into your account monthly is soothing.
Are you saying 55k is worth the risks that come with the job? He said anything can happen at anytime, my best guess is military job.

So your total package is N120k/month with ur life constantly on the line?.
Bros, if u can afford a car, buy it, resign, do ehailing while searching for another job. U will make 120k in 2weeks without stress and sleep or do whatever u like the rest of the month.
We don start grin

Please guys I need your advice, I am a government worker and my monthly salary is #55,000 but I usually get some allowance anytime I went for an assignment, infact am presently in one assignment right now and my allowance for this assignment is #65,000 so right now all my earnings every month for now is #120,000. but the problem am having right now is that I don't like the job because of the risk in it (You can lost your life at any given time) and also the job is not 100% guarantee because you can be fire at anytime, I also don't have time for myself and my family and the government did not have any proper plan for our future.
So now am thinking of buying a car so that I can be using it for online cab such as Uber and Bolt because I have discussed it with some of my family and friends and they said doing Uber and Bolt is more lucrative(financially) than my present job and I am going to have time to plan for my future and also the risk in it is not as high as my present job. please note that I will be the one to be driving my car.
Please your advice is urgently needed please you can also ask me any questions. Please my brothers may God bless our hustle.
I'll make it very brief.
Putting myself in your shoes, if I have money to buy a sound tokunbo car and have a little left for car registration and a month upkeep then I'll resign and start ehailing business. That 55k can be made in a week with hardwork and luck.

Please if you have any car available or know someone that has one please let me know..thanks and God bless .call or watsapp 09071869373.. location- amuwo_odofin.
Hello. I will advice you to start contributing to the thread in your own little way instead of this message you keep repeating. It will increase your chance of getting a car from the thread cuz if I have a car to give out I would choose someone well known here over a stranger.

My opinion though

Mile 2 going towards apapa, one set of police will advice you to climb one way bridge that front is blocked, another set will be waiting for you on the bridge that you're passing one way. If you tell them it's the police before the bridge that directed you to pass here they will say those ones don't know their job. Unless you show them crazy (in black camaru's voice), they will extort you

No argument bro... The civic is more fuel efficient than the Corolla, the only advantage the Corolla has over the civic is the initial but in a long ditance race the civic would have arrived waiti for for the corolla to arrive.
So you mean corolla will pick fast then along the journey civic will catch up. If I may ask, why do you think the corolla will slow down for the civic to catch up?

Another wonder why you so much love the manual transmission cars because these are the only cars that can drive with ease in those dead areas.

Brother man come out of that jungle, with just 680k you'll get a 2bed room apartment in Abule Egba area.

Peace

For my Honda Civic .. I wouldn't buy anything above 180k miles .....

For cars that I want to sell to the public it varies... I realized that many Nigerian car buyers can't afford low miles cars ...

And even if you tell them the cars are accident free and low miles .. They will still be pricing it rubbish. ......
180k miles is low mileage? I got mine above 120k (i think around 130 or 140k miles) and I always tell myself it was too high that's why I asked so I'll know what to look for next time

To think of it that is not a bad idea.. 120k naira might be too high . maybe 50k like a form of deposit to safe guard against drivers damage .default etc And once the driver is ready to drop the car .the driver can than collect his/her security deposit that is things been all equal....

It is really a good idea .. I might implement it ... This is really got me thinking hmmmmmmm
Na today? It's been done before and failed woefully. Many people looking to drive on rental don't have up to 5k sef in their account not to talk of 50k.
People wey dey work sef no get 50k savings na jobless person go come get.

Due to recent unplanned repairs, driver should be willing to deposit the sum of 120,000 after agreements are reached which will be deducted from his remital every month so as to accelerate repairs for car to be ready by weekend.

Call or WhatsApp 09015108949
Go and get a loan to fix your car, I don't think you'll see a driver that will drop 120k

Reason I hate having women as offline client most of them are so inconsiderate, insensitive and inconsistent.

Among all my offline client I only made one lady a client because she has sense and she sabi pay like maga. She's a cook and has her personal car but some times she calls for outings
Women will price the offline trip like fish and tomatoes till you tire and just say yes I've heard you. I learnt a lesson yesterday and from now on there will be no offline commitments again in festive periods.
This customer booked me since 3 days ago for a trip to abraham adesanya for 5k, since I would love to work on the island I said lemme just use it as destination trip to and fro (5k going in the morning 5k coming back in the evening)
While waiting for her one voice just whispered to me to even check the estimate on my bolt rider app. The outcome moved me close to tears cry

So, at the end of each work week, you consumed 8000naira worth of food, 1000 naira airtime & 2GB worth of data (1200 naira), what account would you record it?
Felicity has given you a correct breakdown of how to calculate your earnings (Gross) & Net (income minus all expenditures incurred on the job).
I said as for me. Every other thing I spend on are things I still spend on when I'm not working. These things are just around N300 daily so I overlook them

How about food(sweet mouth), data, call card and other monies spent during the course of duty nko? Are they not supposed to be subtracted from gross earning?

Your real Net= Gross- (Commission + fuel + +airtime(data + call) + food + miscellaneous)

Miscelleneous: can include, gauging of your tires, buying of wiper, money given to beggars, securities, police, area boys, lasma, among others.

At the end of every week I carry out a rough calculation of all of these after paying my weekly rent to know how much I made for the week. But I stopped this like a month ago after my partner saw my record booklet inside my pegean hole that my weekly net was about 20k-30k alternatively, 2weeks after guy man called for increase in rentgrin me I just dropped his car for am straight no time. embarassed

This is a car I drove for straight 2-3months without him carrying out a single expenses on the car oh apart from buying 1 tire. Some partners can be very funny shall.
I don't calculate minor expenses like data and call credit. They're insignificant.
I can't remember the last time I guaged my tyres, so it's not a regular thing.
Food seriously? grin bros that one no follow cuz even days wey you no work you still dey chop

grin grin grin net no be wetin u take home or net na wetin u see on your dashboard after app deduction?
Pls house what’s the definition of net with 5k fuel ?
1. Is it App Net (Net showing on Dashboard after App deduction )
or
2. Money in your pocket (after you minus fuel money from dashboard net )
Like I ve been saying what I see on dashboard is never in my account. It’s better for me to know how much I’m taking home as profit, rather than dashboard
As for me, I use 3 terms to define my earnings
1. Gross income - Total money made
2. Net income - Total money minus app commissions
3. Profit - Total money minus commission and fuel

I can relate bro. That was how I picked one girl from agungi going to egbeda, 10 mins drive to my house I just praised God. From our conversation I realized she came to visit her bf and they had a misunderstanding that's why she left.
When we were about to climb ikoyi link bridge her bf called her apologizing, next thing I heard have you gone far? The girl didn't know anywhere and asked me "where are we pls"

Dear Copilots I need your sincere advice.

I lost my contract bank job 2 and half years ago, though I was earning less than 80k.

6 months later I was able to gather funds, personal savings, Loans from family and friends (Non interest) and I got a Matrix 04, I have since paid back all these loans.

I have been driving on uber/bolt for 2 years and its wonderful. I net above 100k in a month when I work fully, but the fatigue and stress has been taking a toll on my health since last year( I started looing weight and now I'm down some other ailments, but getting better) I started active driving 2 years ago, may be im not the strong type tho.

Recently I got a job offer of a little above 100k(net) outside lagos(Ilesa, i am from the area also) which means I have to relocate. It comes with an accommodation.

My car is in perfect condition but I don't have the will to continue this ehailing job.
Pls is it a good advice to take up the offer or I just continue my ehailing job, may be just weekend hustle?

Note: The job is just a managerial job and not too much stress in it.
Take the job and keep your car in good condition as plan B
