My car has been at their office for over 2 weeks now & they can’t release or even take settlement

They said I should wait till court opens and they have been on strike since 6 April 2021

If they can find out drivers doing fake request, then surely all these excos will be blocked from using the App. The question now is can non-drivers represent drivers adequately without having other Interest? Boss this protest is far from smart move, if u ask me, I'll say some peeps with hidden agenda will end up using drivers to carry out dia operation. Lagos just went thro hell in the name of protest and anything called protest now is like beating a drum of war, anybody can take over that and before you know police station's will b burn and even ppl may lost their lives, include the policemen. Times r hard, we need to move smart, ask question, who's PEDPA? What are their agenda? The best protest drivers can have is online, go offline and let them call for deliberation. One of the best way to obtain this is via awareness, real awareness and time base awareness. Attacking folks not registered under any union is another show of shame, it is honestly not by force, but a share of understanding and u don't force ppl against their will.

I was in Singapore last month, my passport copy was demanded before i register a sim card, as a foreigner.

It only requires my phone number and email address to use GRAB an ehailing just like uber in Singapore. But still Singapore remain one of the safest country in the whole world. Why? Because the government fix it country.

Criminality going on via Uber/Bolt in Nigeria should be blame on the government.

This makes whole lot of sense. More reason why I've decided to off my app since on sunday just to lend my voice in my own little way.

Bolt rating is just so annoying and riders are really taking advantage of that. A rider requested me around that Mende Maryland on Sunday during that heavy rain. Her house is in a certain location which map can not even locate. They are aware of that and had to come and pick me. Is just a street away.

She started by saying I should use my back to enter through the gate of their compound with a narrow packing space. When I got to a point I couldn't go further due to the vehicle behind, she still insisted i moved backward a little more. Then I was already boiling inside of me and my countenance could reveal that to ger.

Next was another lady coming out with a very big Ghana must go bag struggling to hold grip of and said open your boot. I just weak at that point, a thought said cancel and another thought said you have put so much effort for this trip not to happen. And then came with the second bag and the third. Two bags into the boot and the third on my back seat.

When we got to her destination at Ikeja GRA she was still ordering me stay here move forward move backward. Then I told her I can't move further. Trip was just 1k with all that enormous stress and she requested for account no and did transfer.

Me that has been maintaining 4.98 rating in the last two weeks. Something just told me to check my rating as I was waiting for a request next thing I saw was 4.88. Just like that 10 just vanish.

From my personal experience to business experience in Nigeria .. People tend to lie a lot about this and that .. This is why at least 90% of the time I always back up my claim .. I try to show evidence and I think most people on Nairaland can vouch for me ......

My red colored civic ... I bought it tokunbo with 90k miles at the time ... The first 6months I never had any issues, all I did was oil change .........The most I spend on repairs can't be up to 60k naira .........

When it comes to auto parts the most important thing is getting quality parts . once you are able to get good quality parts , than your repairs and downtime will reduce ....


I have replace the same parts over and over again .. I wasted money . And this is due to low quality parts and incompetent mechanics.......


Can you believe with the civic I have never change the a/c compressor before .. And this is because I used the imported freon .........

if owners can go the extra mile to take care of their cars by buying quality parts. It will save them time and money in the long run

Another thing is how well you can avoid LASTMA & Co. One day, I was arrested by CBD for trying to pick a rider in front bookshop and I had to beg them with N5k. Just as the CBD guy alighted from my car & I was about to start going, na so LASTMA sef use one Korope block me. Before I knew it, we Don reach Sura. My brother, dem Don write my ticket down before I reach their office. N20k. All these happened on a Friday before 12pm in a week that I couldn't work until Thursday (the precious day).

U will have rest in between na... If u do Office work u will leave home 6am and close 5 or 6pm sometimes its ur boss that determines ur closing time, only God knows when u get home. So if u drive ur car and leave home 8am and get home 6pm baba na soft work be that o for this Lagos.
