northbird: Seniors ,pls advise me on this case.
Rider A. I picked a rider up and dropped the rider at his location, BTW. the rider had two female companions with him, they moved into a suite/ apartment
I got another short ride n he paid n I left too.
I got a third ride, on my way to complete the third trip, I got a call( that's like after an hour of dropping the first rider) from the first rider that he forgot an item in the car.
I'm sure he didn't forget any item. I told him so. Because I checked the car when I got to the destination.
Later another line called me n started threatening me about having my phone number n number plate. That I should make myself available. I told him angrily that I don't have anything to do with him.
I have reported the ride on the Bolt.app.
If the no. Calls tomorrow, I asked some people n they said I shouldn't pick such nos again. But I was countering them that, if I don't pick, won't it mean I'm avoiding them.
Seniors, pls advise. Pick and insist on the truth, you didn't see anything in your car. Shikena |

Take for instance, you get a trip request. Rider arrives and begins to insult you even before the trip starts. You now tell her to get down since she will end up giving you o star or even do worse, only for her to refuse.
Abeg, I need input on this.

shollywendy1: Very simple way. It has happened to me before. I picked the girl from admiralty home alpha beach axis to gbagada late in the night one Friday 3 years ago. The guy that booked her was not picking calls when we got to the street. Infact, this one was even asking if she can pass the night in my house self to pay for everything together with her body all night. I quickly declined and reported the trip to Uber and get refunded Alakoba. How I wan take introduce her to my wife? I trust my pope. Sharp guy When I used to sleep @ admiralty. I was already having sweet dreams and I heard kokoko on my window. I opened my eyes and saw this olosho outside, I even thought she wanted to do offline cuz some of them will have low battery so they won't be able to request. She asked me to wind down I no gree, she asked again then I first looked around to see if she was alone, yes she was so I rolled down the window, next thing she started begging that she wants to sleep in my car. After plenty abeg sir I allowed her in. She come dey yarn me story about how the guy wey carry her go house wan do flesh to flesh, after she has refused severally the guy agreed to wear CD only to tear the top of the CD. The girl found out and japa. She say na so dem use one of dem few days ago and dumped her corpse somewhere off admiralty there. Me I sha put my valuables inside my pocket and slept on It and everything went well |

kanuisagoat: The way bolt matches drivers to riders is one mystery in this ehailing work I'm yet to unravel.
I have an activity score of 98% and rating of 4.90. My rating has not dropped below 4.80 in a very long time. Yet, when I'm at a location with more than one driver and a request comes in, it almost never comes to me.
I'm starting to think its probably a first thing first out thing. Since I hardly stay long enough at one place, its difficult for me to confirm this. Sometimes if you just complete a trip from somewhere, say from ogba to mushin, if there's a request going back to ogba from mushin, it will most likely come to you first |

dru23: My own personal car goes up to a little over 1k RPM maybe because of cold weather start in Yankee..
But after about 2minutes or less the RPM stays at 1k on the dot ..... This is why it is very important to follow owners manual at all times when it comes Oil grade .......
At early start in the morning is when u get a lot of wear and tear ... The engine oil has to be thin enough to able to circulate and get to the bearing and valves of the engine to help lubricate in time ...
But with thicker oil like 20w50 or so it takes longer for the oil to circulate to those essential parts of the engine. So it is imperative you follow owners manual from the onset of ur car ....
Also keep in mind ehailing takes a toll on these cars.. The constant stop and go puts a lot of strain on the car .. Some uber driver u seem them driving fast dodging traffic getting into preventable accident etc all those things will tell on your rpm and will also cause your car to short oil .. Depending on the car brand some will short oil more than others......... Even if headlamp no see well for night, you'll know how to relate it with oil |

Pearl1910: Is it possible u may have not even needed this top up in the first place if the recommended oil was used from day one?
I agree with this your config, its situational and it serves the current condition of your car but let's not give others the impression that its unwise or there is no need to use the recommended oil in a car.
I know that if the car was abused by the previous user, there's no need to start using recommended oil, just continue with the mineral oil. Also if for some reason, the car starts to short oil in between service times, its advised you use a thicker oil so as to reduce the shortage...be that as it may, that engine is serving its last days.
Therefore, for the sake of others reading this thread the best practice is to use the recommended oils for your engine, gear etc, follow service protocols and other maintainance requirements for your car to work optimally and last longest.
May God bless our hustle. Amen |

dru23: That is what coz the confusion .. I don't know who got it confuse me or the deeded guy ..my own is that if ur car dey short oil .. U are on ur own and we can agree using manufacture grade will not work ......
But to me it seems that the deeded guy was saying 20w50 was ok regardless if the car has issues or not ...
But even if your car dey short isn't better to find out by it is shorting oil Since morning, at last you understand. Make I go drink kunnu as you don stress pezin |
