My points are just truth, my friend was at GAZZUZZ shop I think 2016 or 2017 then timing chain problem with a corolla, vehicle was towed to his shop after inspection, he quoted over 130k, for fixing, then my friend called me, I told the person to tow it out of that place, then dey brought the vehicle to alapere, vehicle was fixed with 20k everything. Including workmanship.

When GAZZUZZ worked with ogunvic they ripped off Alot of people, some where given quote of 200k to 300k to fix.

They manipulate people into buying peogeut 407, when the bubble burst, GAZZUZZ deny everybody.

Just as someone says he is selling accidented 04 corolla for 1.9 then still advise drivers not to do beyond 20k RENTAL..

But if rider won begin form transfer issues, why not direct him/her to the nearest ATM. Instead, just tell them your acct has issues you are trying resolve for now that they can use ATM. Before trip start just politely ask if na card or cash .

Haba! This one na minor damage nah. Mine was actually fixed with 55k. Driver side was badly damaged. Na God save driver sef. Police even lied to the guy that the driver died when they showed him the picture of my accidented car. I can't imagine how much they must have milked from the guy cos he was locked up.

Yes nah. Someone once hit one of my cars and ran off in the middle of the night. My driver came back home with the guy's fallen bumper with his plate number attached to it. I took it to the police station and the guy was apprehended a week later. Insurance paid, he also paid

A lot of people are employed because of uber. Uber has nothing to lose in the Nigeria market. Lagos is not even the biggest market in Africa for uber. If uber packs up now, the unemployment rate will go up ... what set uber aparts from the rest is money ..uber has the money and the technology.. So if uber leaves and other ehailing apps comes in, they might not be efficient as uber .. It will be a free for all market and price might even go up

Ride sharing app would be pointless if there are no drivers to pick you up. Therefore, 90% of the user experience depends on the driver.

I have a solution:
Use uber and Taxify app to get your clients, tell them you are charging off the app, if they agree TO YOUR TERMS you bill them and THEY cancel the ride. If they don't agree you still ask THEM to cancel the ride while you look for another offer. If that language becomes a general language trust me they will be forced to use your off the app services.

I don't just start my car for N375 that uber collects from a short ride. I politely ask you your destination and bill you which 80% says No. Am ok with the 20% for the day it still keeps my car in good shape for a longer lifespan.

Am thinking of getting a whatsapp platform we try as much as possible to get a lot of drivers on that platform to think of the way forward.
I know the issue will be on people who are paying weekly 35-40k how will they meet up with such 20% don't worry, there's always a way out of every predicament.

I need reasonable opinions please.

99% of the ladies who ride uber/taxify are danfo people who have never owned a car in their lives. You can deduce this from the way they slam the door getting in and out, yet they still talk down at uber drivers as if they are relating with their domestic staff. The olosho among them are the worst

Some of those guys you see in chevron and admiralty have close. They are resting. Most of them live in their cars and work almost round the clock except when they want to rest.

They will drive to safe location i.e Admiralty or chevron (Family house) to gist and rest.

Sometimes i will just sit down and wish Taxify/bolt goes bankrupt. Then uber revert the removed 40%. Daily surge comes back. 2004 cars and above. Then everyone is happy....

The partner didn't reply because he knows his car doesn't meet the specs...most cars on uber/taxify doesn't have catalyst. I make btw 100k and 110k weekly. I buy fuel of about 28k to 32k.this is my net earnings in April minus offline trips

Going by this your logic, you shouldn't have switched to uber. You should have just bought another pon-pon and trowel to give to another person to start work and be collecting rentage money.
