Rapmoney: Kids born in this millennium will not realize what this stuff is. They will think it is blue garri? Do you still remember this detergent that was very popular in the 80s and 90s?
immortalcrown: Sentiment rules Nigeria. That is why majority of Nigerians condemn the action ERISCO Foods takes against the lady. Most nigerians place emotions above facts. The best way to handle the case is for the public to send apologies to the brand and assure the brand that its product will not be boycotted. You cannot save the lady by threatening the company. If you keep threatening the company, the company will choose to die as a hero than dying as a coward.
Defamation is not review. Defamation is lying against a person or thing. Chioma lied that ERISCO tomato paste kills. Review is saying the truth about a person or thing, whether the truth is sweet or not. Chioma is not being punished for her review of the paste. She is being punished for her defamation of the paste.
1. Right from the moment the lady defamed the product, sentimentalists quickly began to beat drums of boycott against the product. According to ERISCO, the demand for the defamed product sharply dropped following the defamation. But sentimentalists now claim that the defamation would not have affected the brand. They claim that what will affect the brand is the action being taken against the lady. So, the brand should have waited to fold up before challenging the defamation? Before you judge a person, put yourself in his or her shoes.
2. The lady lied against the product by claiming it kills people. Who will keep quiet when accused of killing people? Who? If you condemn ERISCO Foods but cannot keep quiet when you are accused of murder, you are nothing but a hypocrite.
3. I would have condemned the action of ERISCO Foods if the lady tendered a sincere apology and the public joined her to ask the brand for forgiveness. The same public that the brand's survival depends on believes the lady's claim about the product and threatens to boycott the product. So, the company is trying to save its reputation.
4. I know she had miscarriage while in police custody, and it saddens me. But we should also know that many workers in ERISCO Foods may loose their jobs and die of hunger because of her defamation. Are you saying it is right for her to try to kill people but it is wrong for the people to try to defend themselves? ERISCO Foods didn't get her arrested to cause her the miscarriage. ERISCO Foods got her arrested for the sake of justice. The miscarriage is a coincidence, not a deliberate action.
5. She said the paste contains Sugar. It is true, and the company never said otherwise. On the body of the paste, Sugar is listed as one of the ingredients in the paste. But the sentimentalists quickly joined her to cry that the company is deadly for putting Sugar in the paste. They implied that the company has been deceiving the public. How? Does the company hide the fact that the product contains Sugar? If not that you are stupid, you would have checked the ingredients in the paste before displaying your stupidity.
6. The company explained that the paste is a multipurpose one that can substitute butter for bread. I saw some comments saying that such paste is being consumed for the same purpose in some Western countries. So, ignorance landed the lady and her fans into this mess. Who does a review without a thorough research?
The game is being played by both parties. One just get depth pass the other, and they are all the same. APC is better because they have a more robust structure!
Mercenary123: Nice game APC media and tinubu media warriors. Nice game
Stupid Nigerians will now shift their attention towards Obi and forget about their suffering under tinubu misgovernance
Reno was clear, schools initiated, constructed, and commissioned by Obi. Just one! Only one!
[qquote author=Gossipninja post=129604737]Also, for those trash talking the schools Peter Obi renovated and upgraded in Anambra state, I wonder how you people think.
If the schools in Anambra state are 100, 90 of them are owned by the missionaries/churches and communities.
Knowing how dilapidated the schools were, Obi upgraded them and handed them back to their original owners.
It's just like having a car and while driving to work, you had a flat tyre. Please reasonable Nigerians, do you abandon that car at the spoilt it broke down and go looking for a new car to buy? Or just quickly get a vulcanizer to fix the tyre?
This same thing applies in this Obi matter that Reno has been blowing out to sound smart.
You don't go building what you have. You either maintain that building of yours or destroy the existing one to build another.
Unless you're into Real Estate business.
See list of the schools below. (Pics attached)
TunezTV: Trending clips of young gents turning up at a birthday party in Calabar. Some Netizen have concluded that some of them might belong to the LGBTQ Community.
It's a federation, some states are good for agriculture, some business, some for their minerals... Everyone has their strengths. Big question though... If they are indeed barren why is everybody flocking to Lagos, Ogun and even Oyo state for being hubs
The rich will keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting children... I can imagine how smart Dangote will be by liquidating most of the company's assets before they can come and value it against the debts.
The Ukraine war is just USA fighting Russia by proxy (Ukraine) the amount of financial aid Ukraine has gotten since the war broke out is insane. So Mr. Obi is just being mischievous
High cost of living in Nigeria, honestly, I don't know where we're heading to
This morning, when I saw-off a visitor, on my way back I entered a supermarket to get a loaf of bread, and I had only 2k cash with me, I didn't come out with my atm card
When I went to make payment, then the attendant said; 'oga the bread don add money ooh' shockingly, I asked! How much? She said 1,700. Then I said, but I bought it here three days ago 1,500, she said yes, the price don go up again. Then I said 'no wahala take your money, anyhow we go survive am'
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, unless in an usual situation, a day doesn't pass me by without taking at least a cup of tea/ coffee, and this loaf of bread called 'jumbo' before 2015, I could remember I used to buy it 350 Naira
COMRADES, Please tell us how much does it cost in your area, city or state. I could remember vividly as at January 2024 the price of the aforementioned item was 1,200, and I don't how much it will cost before the end of the year
Another wahala, there's beans scarcity in my area, what's happening actually I don't know Thank you very much
Try to rest, drink water and kindly sit this one out. This is a dead kid, not something to score political points off of.
ganisucks: A President on top of the situation at all times.
A President who's ear is to the ground 24/7
Emi Lokan and SWAGA will send their condolence message after they have finished dividing Sunday Igbowo, OPC and every Yoruba kparakpo group in all the Southwest universities in Nigeria.
Portable is having serious problems with some promoters who organised show in the United States for Portable to perform.
According to the promoters, Portable was not able to come to the show because he was denied visa 5 times for insulting the American consular and inability to speak English. The promoter said Portable was speaking Yoruba at the embassy which resulted in the visa denial.
However, Portable has replied to those who said he can't speak English in the video above.
TheFreeOne: You call him mad for saying the truth?
And can you furnish us with Buharis pension to ascertain if that's what he has used in training all his children abroad?
A man who claim he doesn't have money but his wife wears jewelriies worth millions of naira. And 2.5b was allegedly stolen from her by her CSO. Was the money generated from her beauty parlour?
His son crashed a powerbike worth millions of naira.
He claimed to have 150 cows and also claimed only have about 3 houses until it later turned out he's got an estate in Abuja worth over a billion naira.
If Buhari has integrity as he's been touting what stopped him from releasing his asset declaration form?
His demonizing wealth in order to keep a leash on his almajiri followers is fraudulent and evil.
He's not demonizing wealth just trying to make anyone in charge of public funds accountable that's all...all these you're saying is just aside the main fact. His wife is rich...should she be poor? Or was she ever poor before now? You better face your business and make enough money so your kids can crash powerbikes too. Which of our senior millitary officials or politicians are not billionaires. Buhari is just better and more accountable, under his government ministries and boards remmited more money to the FG unlike the way it is run before...business as usual. Pigssssss
How much is the pension of an ex head of state in Nigeria that he cant train his few kids in foreign uni?
Being prudent is different from being poor,
Taking a loan is not sign of poverty after all you are owing Nigeria billions of naira in bad debt yet u claim Rich man
He's a mad man all pdp officials are crazy on social media spewing trash and nonsense. His own children if he has any must have schooled abroad i guess.
scantee: So you believe pdp will be thumbprinting for themselves and then video it and upload it online?
Bro think smart you will know that is pure opposition strategy, I can bet you that ballot paper is just fake paper for propaganda
What then is your proof of apc rigging, plus anyone can be stupid enough to leave such videos on their phones after sending to a sponsor who needs proof before paying them. After that the video can make it's way online through a lot of possibilities.
chemgee: bro, in as much as I hate APC rigging, make PDP feel d pain Small, even if they get back their stolen mandate in court, which is unlikely
All the rigging videos I've seen, na pdp dem dey thumbprint ontop d ballot so stop making it like the pdp sef are not seriously rigging in their zones. Power just pass power lol
kiddoiLL: these folks shouting ordinary 50k and he's snapping... nobody gives a fok if its 50k or 10k. they're raising money for someone's treatment, if 50k is ordinary then feel free to ask the man's account number and send him 50k without taking pictures, do so and nobody will beat u..if u can't just stay silent, hypocrites
Bennycollins: And you think when you vote for Buhari, you spite others? We all live here in this country to put up with whatever shit that he offers. Or you think you would be better off than other Nigerians?
Na una dey complain we that are for apc dey manage our zones well.
GreyLaw: Yes, Orji Uzo Kalu, Amaechi, Akpabio, Maina, Uduaghan, all embraced new ways. They are now corruption-free.
Nonsense!
If you want to vote Buhari, good. It's your right. I, as an individual, see Buhari as a complete failure; a man who rode to power on the goodwill of Nigerians but squandered it all on the altar of nepotism, clanishness, disregard for human life and gross incompetence.
That's just your own view and just maybe imagination...all his work is being discredited by people like you. I put it to you that the PDP tried all within their power to undermine this government, make it look like a failure and in many desperate attempts tried to sabotage the peace of the country by causing unrest but the APC will always rise above all that. Why? Because they are a goal driven and people oriented party not just about stomach infrastructure or giving hand outs from the trillions they loot. You need a bigger list of names of people who have had one or more cases of corruption if that's what you're trying to do. A more complex list arranged in their order of magnitude.
Quick question: If buhari's trains are made in china, how come in all 16 years the PDP could not offer us more sophisticated ones or just these ones from China??
GreyLaw: Nigerians are not foolish and will not vote for a man whose integrity couldn't translate to good governance. Are we going to have the several dividends of good leadership deliveres by some false air of integrity?
What is integrity when a man wines and dines with devils, and proclaims them saints simply because they are in the same party?
The other presidential candidates would all do better than Buhari, at least in my own mind.
He wines and dines with ex devils that have been baptized and have embraced the new ways...keep supporting looters that have no serious plan for our country you hear...
