IMAliyu2: Do you trust that the US military under the current admin would/could actually do that? Who would they target, how would they target them? This is not as simple as fighting boko haram. The claims of a Christian genocide involves attackers that are decentralized, and disorganized in a herder-farmer clash fashion.
Because all I suspect they'd do is indiscriminate bombing of Northern communities and cities, rather than identifying terror groups and targeting them.
The Nigerian government could literally end a large portion of insecurity and attacks on rural communities, by just banning open grazing nationaly. And directing law enforcement to cease all cattle, and herders found outside of ranches and farms. And also a Federal ban on sharia law, as Nigeria is a secular state, the veil of sharia is been used to down play and hide prosecution on non Muslim Northerners on a systematic level. + No Nigerian Government has the balls to ban Sharia law. It's the right thing to do, but it will NEVER happen in this country unless done by a foreign power. |

Adblg0610: AMERICA’S CLAIMS OF FIGHTING FOR CHRISTIANS IS BECAUSE OF TINUBU’S REJECTION OF EXTERNAL PUPPETRY
Recently, Tinubu publicly dared Donald Trump to do his worst, which is unprecedented and you think there would be no consequences? He has also taken the following actions, among others:
1.New Foreign-Policy Doctrine: Nigeria’s foreign-policy under Tinubu is anchored on four pillars: Demography, Development, Diaspora and Democracy. This suggests a broader ambition: repositioning Nigeria in global diplomacy, not just along religious lines. Example: The “Demography” pillar recognises Nigeria’s large, young population as strategic capital. 2. More Assertive Diplomacy and Economic Independence: Nigeria under Tinubu has been more active in multilateral forums and with non-Western powers: e.g., ties with India, China, Brazil, UAE. 3. Foreign-investment pledges: “over $50 billion in foreign investment commitments” as part of his diplomacy. 4. Nigeria’s elevated visibility: for example renewed role in the African Union Peace & Security Council and strategic infrastructure deals. 5. Regional Security & Sovereignty Moves: His administration has emphasised Nigeria’s role in regional stability (via Economic Community of West African States – ECOWAS) and taking principled stances on coups in neighbouring states. These moves point to Nigeria asserting independence, resisting being a mere “puppet” in regional geopolitics. 6. Economic and Infrastructure Ambitions: Under Tinubu there are major infrastructure projects tied to diplomacy: e.g., the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, rail lines, etc. Such projects imply he is trying to diversify Nigeria’s economy, strengthen its global bargaining power and reduce dependency, again beyond a purely confessional frame. 7. Nigeria First Policy: This implies that Nigerians should first patronize local goods and services before looking outward and this policy will adversely affect America’s economic interest. + Your day job must involve some sort of comedy. |
Politics › Re: President Trump, Please Strike The Fulani Bandits Not Nigeria!!! by DeepSight(m): 10:05am On Nov 02, 2025 |
Jakumo: Arguably Trump will be recognized as the most destructive, undiplomatic, cruel, racist and reckless US president of all time, yet, despite all of Trumps usual saber-rattling bluster with respect to Nigeria's terror predicament, the preexisting collaborative relationship between the US and Nigerian militaries remains strong, and need only be fine-tuned so that US drones can be empowered to exceed their previous mandate as passive overhead observers, by allowing their tasking to include calibrated air strikes wherever gatherings or motorized convoys of terrorists are spotted nationwide.
As a matter of absolute certainty there WILL be collateral damage amid the coming harvest of souls on Nigerian soil by US drones, BUT the gradual spread of terror and kidnapping gangs Nigeria has witnessed for over a decade now stands as sobering testimony to the fact that the Nigerian military would benefit tremendously from US assistance in this grueling war on terror slowly engulfing an entire nation. + Let us pray it is well handled. |
Politics › Re: President Trump, Please Strike The Fulani Bandits Not Nigeria!!! by DeepSight(m): 9:45am On Nov 02, 2025 |
Jakumo: American military strategists will have studied the Nigerian kidnap/bandit/terror swarms invading Nigeria, and those seasoned practitioners of pinpoint selective annihilation will have devised a plan that will maximize terrorist casualties, while limiting collateral civilian damage.
If, for example, a US surveillance drone circling the skies above Nigeria's Middle Belt Benue state observes a swarm of motorcycles heading towards a remote farming village in the dead of night, there would be adequate time for US authorities to contact the nearest police station, military detachment, or civilian vigilante formation in the area where the movement of armed men is being monitored, to ascertain whether any known forces are deployed in the area.
Once it has been determined that NO military, police or civilian patrol has been deployed within the target area at the time of that alert, the US drone operator relaxing continents away in an airconditioned command center, will be authorized to launch clinically precise missiles that will reduce that convoy of terrorists to a morbidly artistic display of twisted metal and smoldering cadavers.
That same process of elimination precautionary protocol can be applied to ALL encampments of men spotted in ANY wilderness area of Nigeria. Once local authorities affirm that state or civilian squads are NOT operating in the area, another fire order will be issued and more terrorists will be fragmented instantaneously. Once this "hand of God" long range ballistic accuracy has been showcased in Nigeria by the USA, the civilian population will FINALLY begin to experience a respite from the slowly spreading reign of terror seeping into Nigeria and other sub-Saharan nations of West Africa. + Firstly, I am surprised that you imagine they will operate with such courtesy to local authorities given the tone of Trump's directives. Secondly bear in mind that what you have described is exactly how they have ended up bombing innocent village weddings and other social functions in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. |

If the right to movement and freedom is intrinsic, how did slavery exist for thousands of years? + Your interpretation would mean that so long as these evils are done then no such right exists. That is wrong. That such are recognized as natural means we recognize their unjust violation as always wrong irrespective of time or season. |
Politics › Re: 'Visas Are Privileges, Not Rights': US Defends Soyinka's Visa Revocation by DeepSight(m): 12:34am On Nov 02, 2025 |
Kukutente23: You are now beginning to understand me. The codifying of natural laws is a consequence of the need to have a just and free society. It is not a self-effacing law like the law of gravitation. Like I explained previously, everything on earth obeys the law of gravitation regardless of whether you regard or recognise its existence or not. If a law has to be recognised before it takes effect, then I submit it cannot be a naturally occurring law in its strict sense + The existence of natural rights require no wtitten law to be valid. That is the very distinction between natural rights / natural law and positive law. Natural law in this sense is not to be conflated with the natural physical laws of the universe which is what you are trying to do. |
Politics › Re: 'Visas Are Privileges, Not Rights': US Defends Soyinka's Visa Revocation by DeepSight(m): 12:29am On Nov 02, 2025 |
Kukutente23: Inalienable means no one SHOULD be denied those rights without just cause
Fundamental means they form the basis of a free and just society
1 shows that the rights have to be recognised before they can be exercised
2 shows that you can only have a recognition of those rights in a free society like democracy offers + Rubbish. Inalienable means cannot be taken away from you. Cannot be alienated from your being. Fundamental means it is as intrinsic to you and your nature as your existence is. |

Kukutente23: No. You've mixed it up. For murder to be established, the murderer had no RIGHT to take life. What is the difference between court sanctioned killing and what is called extra-judicial killing. Are they both murders in your estimation? + Again you are basically saying that until the advent of written laws, everyone had the right to take life as they pleased. That it happened did not mean they had such a right. Or that it was right so to do. You really cannot engage this matter until you understand what natural law is all about as opposed to positive law. |

LordReed: Sorry see my edited comment. + The problem remains what really can be described as life or living as opposed to a mere machine which can move and react in a pre programmed way. A living thing must have subjective feeling, subjective irritability. It was be conscious of it's environment in a subjective sensory way. Not in a mechanistic programmed way. |
Politics › Re: 'Visas Are Privileges, Not Rights': US Defends Soyinka's Visa Revocation by DeepSight(m): 12:16am On Nov 02, 2025 |
Kukutente23: No. There has never been any right of immigration You erroneously believe that because Abraham migrated, it makes migration a right while it is not so. Even God told Abraham that he's a stranger in the land and he'll give the land to his children. Guess how that happened? By conquest!! So where's the right there? Just as DeepSight is arguing, if there was right of migration, the European settlers would have been welcomed by the natives in America and there shouldn't have been a need for the bloodshed that trailed their attempt to settle there. My point is you can't have rights without a party recognising the existence of those rights and allowing you to freely exercise it. If the right to live was universal, twins wouldn't be butchered at birth in Calabar, the Arabs wouldn't be immolating unwanted females at birth. Same with if there's right if migration, conquest by bloodshed will not be required in both Israel and America's case + You are basically saying that if there was such a thing as the right to life, people would not commit murderous atrocities. Make that make sense when people STILL do so today. Go to school, no, I know it all. |
