Where does he say that he was lying when he said he and the Father were one and that seeing him was seeing the Father, and that he was actually Angel Michael just pulling your leg, he-he!
Point us to exactly where he said that
As I said, if you cannot see the clarity of his explanation, who am I to explain better. I leave it to you.
After all you are someone who can say that a word does not mean what it means, so I have no hope of getting to you.

You have no idea how it makes you look each time you go to post quotes of people praising you. It comes across as very insecure, and desperate for validation. It is not a good thing at all. Grow beyond it please.

Yet you don't believe him when he said he and the Father are one, and that the Father is in him and he in the Father
Stop this. Jesus himself explained what he meant by this.

John 17:11
"And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one."

John 17:21
"that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

John 17:22-23
"The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me."

If the foregoing explanations by Jesus himself of what he meant by "one" and "I am in the father and the father in me" - are not sufficient for you, then no wahala.

Thank you very much. It's so pitiful the way these guys act. Just criticize the Govt and you must be Igbo. In a country of over 300 tribes.

They don't even stop to contemplate the illogicality. As though only Igbos voted against BAT. As though no one voted for Atiku. As though to criticise the govt, you must be Igbo. In fact, as though there is also something wrong with being Igbo.

Igbo slaved for PDP for almost 24 years since 1999 up to 2023 when PDP dashed their hope.
And I am Igbo, and have been slaving for PDP?

You guys are so ungrateful, you slave for PDP for 22 years but the party couldn't build 2 and Niger bridge you all crave for until Buhari came and compete it.

In Alaba market, it took an APC governor Fashola to revamp the access road to the market after years of neglect by the government.

Presently, Tinubu through Wike is building the access road to Deidei market after years of neglect by PDP government your laboured for.

A hateful soul will always be ungrateful
1. Where did you see 22 years? PDP was in power for 16 years.
2. How do you know I supported any PDP?
3. Are you suggesting I am Igbo?

These kinds of unfounded assumptions tell alot about you.

If you think any Nigerian should be grateful to BAT, may heaven help the kind of country you imagine for yourself/

If president Tinubu hasn't done a thing, on whose record are we going to add just that 5 ministers to?
It will be very strange for even the worst possible President not to accomplish a single thing. Impossible even. Abacha, Idi Amin, they had accomplishments too.

PS: You did not list up to five - even adding Aviation was a stretch. Besides, this is an admission that the administration as a whole is performing very poorly.

Hian! What kind of cheap lie is this abeg? The women and children that your god ordered to be killed in the Canaanite regions were bandits that attacked the Israelites? Women and children? Are you serious right now? And what does bandit even mean here? Do you realize you are referring to settled agricultural societies with established cities? Your Bible even acknowledged this fact too.

Please and please, take it easy on the lies. These were incidents that happened in the books of Deuteronomy and Joshua, so let's not play dumb. Your god is a tribal war god and the proof is right there in your Bible.
He said they attacked "like bandits" and not that they were in fact bandits, to be fair. Also that attack did happen. Nonetheless it does not justify the bloodthirsty command of Yahweh in my view, which extended to infants and cattle.

This is aside from the fact that there were other instances of such bloodthirsty commands -

Deuteronomy 20:16-17: "But in the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, but you shall utterly destroy them, the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded you."

Joshua 6:21: A passage describing the conquest of Jericho states, "Then they devoted all in the city to destruction, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and donkeys, with the edge of the sword."

What was the crime of these people?

Exo_21:5  And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:

If you actually and logically look at the options, in the short and very long run, you'd be smart enough to love the Master.
The Bible has many admirers and points of agreement with virtually every other religion, it's not a basis for confusion or conversion. Moreso, every single writer of the new testament was proud to be servants of God.

Rom_1:1  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
Titus_1:1  Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
Jas_1:1  James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
2Pe_1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Jud_1:1  Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
Rev_1:1  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Doesnt all of this stand in contradiction to supposed freewill?

You really can't blame them for the clapback
The belligerence of the BATist crew as it concerns Buhari and his govt was a stab in the back
First Tinubu coming out to ridicule a sitting President with his Abeokuta speech
Then every claimed "success" of this administration being trumpeted by the supporters is usually against the backdrop of painting the Buhari govt as a catastrophic failure... Same govt they supported for 8 years. It only goes to show that their love was fake. They shouldn't complain when the favour is being returned
True.

Perhaps, attributing characteristics to God is not exclusive to religion alone.
However, the belief or knowledge that the source of creation must be immutable is a knowledge, observation or calculation derived from our reality.
We cannot say for sure the laws and mechanisms that govern other realities, the
universal consciousness, space, etc and the inherent possibilities.
Too true.

Christianity Etc › Re: Inexplicable Instincts by DeepSight(op): 4:34pm On Jul 10, 2025
fredwill1357:
The universe can mean different things, are you talking about our world or universal existence or consciousness in general. If the latter, we cannot say for sure if it is finite, infinite, ever expanding or even incomprehensible, at least for us.

The universe being mutable or finite, mutable especially, does not nullify the possibility of it being the source of all.
Our world and existence is heavily flawed, it is not out of place that the possible creator is mutable. Only religious people sing and believe God is immutable.
It is wrong to say that only religious people believe God is immutable. It is also a strong philosophical concept.

You see, the thing is that a thing that changes must require a cause or trigger for such change. That automatically cancels it out as being itself the origin of all things. This is the fundamental logic behind saying that the source of all things cannot be a mutable thing.

A self existent thing must be the source of all things. A thing that by its very nature is necessarily existent. Such a thing is permanent and unchangeable and thus eternal.

This is strictly philosophical and has nothing whatsoever to do with religion. In fact the religious description of God in Christian scripture in particular discloses a God that changes all the time and this is thus a flawed precept.
