So if you have a third party which wins say, just five to seven seats in either house - that party will decide every vote because the Dems and Republicans will still vote in blocs and whichever side that little party aligns with on any issue will carry the day everytime.

So which book do you know that is over 2000 years old, written over the span of 2000 years by up to 60 authors and has the same consistency, and theme as the bible?
The writers were at different locations especially the new testament and yet reading it will lead you to one central message.
No work of man comes close.

Also, if I know that government will take good care of all my needs at old age, why would I be stressing myself stealing to accumulate properties as security for old age.

If government can give me free education and other basic needs from age 0- 18, and when I retired from active service, why would I refuse to support the same system by paying all required taxes.

If I know that government will pay me, even if I am unable to secure a job, why would I stress myself to steal, or become a thug for politicians.

Those are the secrete of western countries that developing ones are yet to emulate.
