Lastpharoah33: Like I said earlier, I have been around Old people more often than not.
When I was still serving, under the igbo apprenticeship program, my master then was a wealthy billionaire (no mince of words) in naira.
Man had a full house. 8 children, 5 of us as apprentices, wife still around, a full house like I said. I was his closest servant then, I understood his emotional, physical, psychological struggles.
His health took the greatest toll on him, dude was literally leaving on drugs. He had diabetes, ulcer, high BP, cholesterol. But did put his sh!t together I must say.
Another thing was his own siblings, always at loggerheads. Even when all of them are well off. He's a devoted Christian, a Roman Catholic.
I think, the struggles that comes with old age is not determined by how pious the individual is, notable figures in the Bible had their own fair share. It's basic biology I suppose. + Thanks for sharing. |

And even you have heard it so just like me but because i saw it with my own eyes is why I can tell you that death of a believer is different from others whether you like or not. It will always be like this.
So all y'all lamenting about death, is because you get that God has shown you people your future + It's truly no use interacting with you. You don't even know the topic. |

A lesson God has been warning man since He washed the world but people never listen. Rather they have grown worser and worser. In the same hospital in my hearing, a nurse was telling a mother complaining about the cost of delivery, she told the mother that she should leave her child and that by the time she comes someone would have purchased her child, just like that. What an ivu, made even boldly
And then people like Reed think that it shouldn't get worser?

Onegai: Someone sent me this:
"#Repost If and only If we can start taking Marriage vows before Amadioha, Sango and their brethren, many marriages will experience more bliss.
People stand before God and lie because he is very patient with us.
Just imagine that you took a vow before 'Arusi Njaba' that you won't cheat or hit your woman, that you would provide for her, that you won't abuse her in any way; if you go against your vow, its instant judgement.
Most of us will then learn to respect our vows. I would rather that people don't take marital vows serious any longer.
I feel it is mockery and it is no longer funny." Copyright, Victor Ibeh 2016
I agree. I had a male friend who stopped attending weddings simply because it was a waste of time, to him. He didn't understand husbands' behaviors. He refused be complicit in helping them hide affairs and cheating whilst inviting him over for lunch with their spouse and kids the next day. He got tired of the mockery of marriage. Church wedding has become a joke, I'd rather celebrate Traditional Wedding in my village in front of some wooden deity.
2025 update: Marital Vows should be taken in a proper religious setting that you respect and adhere to. I quite like the Church for mine. + You changed your mind? |

Onegai: I will disagree with some of your point and brain54's points, too
(Good morning, btw)
Firstly, Commercial Airplanes can literally fly themselves. Everything has been done for them in the cockpit excepts checks with ATC towers, infact almost every plane mishap nowadays is due to Pilot Error rather than mechanical failures. But we need pilots still.
Telemedicine has moved further ahead in China and USA. It's not doing so well in the USA, a dental student in a rural clinic just died.
China seems to be doing AI better.
Thirdly, Machine Learning is great (even Lego is now pushing Machine Learning ahead of Engineering and Robotics, at kids). Chatbots are crap (Claude, ChatGPT etc).
Why?
In education purposes, they're slowly eroding human ability to reason and logic properly. Teachers and professors are now seeing serious degradation in students' ability to memorize and learn and keep any new information. Human beings are losing brain plasticity very quickly. Medically, that's really bad (lots of diseases coming up pretty quickly, your elderly parents were healthier than us).
Let me put it this way: your reliance on AI to do basic things doesn't free you up to do complex things because we evolved by doing basic things and made it complex. AI is devolving us. To understand how bad human devolution may end up, there was a weird Sci-Fi show called "Raised By Wolves". Also, books like Aldous Huxley "Brave New World", where everyone is assigned roles from birth.
We will also need population control since "hey, we don't need so many humans, AI will do most of it!". Guess which race will be on the chopping block first, due to the fact that politicians globally and even the billionaires with AI companies keep saying openly "some cultures don't contribute much, ya know". I mean, just look at how once anti-inmigration sentiment has been pushed for the last decade quietly on social media and has exploded to the point people don't care if migrant boats full of people who look like you and I get shot and drowned at sea.
Turkeys and Chickens shouldn't vote for Christmas.
We are being forced AI done our throats whether we want it or not (I was writing a personal email and AI kept asking if I needed help to draft it or "let's fine tune it", nope no need, this needs to feel human).
Ask yourself why? + Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. You have earned a new follower. |

But her TDS can’t let her blame DJT for what happened. Even though he clearly emboldened ICE to go after anyone who doesn’t look white. And emboldened them to use lethal force for what amounts to civil disobedience even if the culprit is illegal (which he was not).
I do wish everyone gets to personally taste the effects of whatever they voted for and hoped to happen to others. In this case this dead boy probably didn’t vote for Trump.
