Nigeria is in a horrible mess because we lie ? ![]() What will I not hear on NL. Lying is an "activity" or trait exhibited exhibited by humans irrespective of colour, race , nationality etc. This Love of Fatherland Initiative sef, dem no get work |
VPersie:That's a contradiction. If better provision of infrastructure has no effect on Lagosians, then it's useless, yes? If Fashola has built better, more solid roads, how can a road user claim not to benefit? Apart from less time spent in traffic, ur car suffers less wear and tear, hence, less visits to the mechanic, which amounts to more money in ur pocket. This is just one of many examples |
See these people oh! They are just trying to buy and/or waste more time. They need 14 days (336 hours) to DECIDE whether or not the President is fit. Who are they kidding? They want a testimony from Yaradua's personal doctor ( who wld most likely be his friend!) It's now up to the cabinet to decide whether or not he's fit? The same cabinet he handpicked. What happened to our constitution?? Is it missing?? |
@labiyemmy:And you have 697 posts?? Abeg explain to us oh!! Is it that you like smelly places? Have a phobia for nice smells? Pls answer cos I'm presently carrying out a research on Smells. Fanks a banch ![]() @OP This fence sef, will it be made of GOLD? |
If his room is large enough to accomodate all my clothes, shoes, bags, books, belts, jewellry, errrm what else? Well, if his room has enough space for my plenty "ngwongwo", no wahala. But if not, I would request for a special room to keep majority of my stuff. To avoid wahala, the said room must not have a bed nor a tv (I cld sleep off there). This room wld strictly be a closet and a library. I will retire EVERY NIGHT to the action room of course! I'd like to be woken up with a kiss every morning. I'd like to cuddle after "intimacy" so if we have separate rooms, he'd just "do" and go?? Am I a prostitute? And finally, I love to sleep in cold rooms so who wld cuddle me when it gets really cold? |
selencious:You sound like you hold a personal grudge againt the poster . . . . . Wrong place to vent . . . . . You jst ended up making urself look silly . . . . Just saying . . . . @OP In as much as I'm torn looking at all those heartbreaking images on CNN, I'm also thinking of my "town people" in faraway Bayelsa State with no access to something as basic as clean water. Forget electricity. In this case, it wld be considered a luxury. As I have witnessed firsthand, most of these people are forced to cook with water from the river. The same river where they wash their clothes. The same river where they sh!t. The same river that has been polluted by the Oil Companies. They cook with this water and they fall sick. Because we dont have a Government "charitable" enough to establish a Primary Healthcare Center (a hospital would be a dream), most of these people die from such illnesses. They don't all die at the same time. It happens at different times. But at the end of the day, when we sum up the number of deaths over a period of time, it would be equal to the effects of an earthquake. I'm sure these people have people "representing" them in the lower and upper Chambers. I can't count the amount of people that were killed in road accidents in 2009. Most of which were caused by bad roads. Most of which could have been avoided . . . . . . . . . . . . !!! The list is endless . . . . . I sympathise with the people of Haiti . . . .I really do . . . but I'm also torn seeing my fellow Nigerians in similar situations and/or worse. If we had a functional country with functional leadership, we wouldn't have had to send $1m (or $2m) to Haiti in order for our impact to be felt, heard, seen . . . . I saw Mexican rescue teams pulling people out from ruins, I saw South African rescue teams, where are the Nigerian rescue teams . . .? Do we have a resuce team in Nigeria . . ? It's only a mad naked man that would run after another mad naked man telling him to dress up . . . . |
mr.official:Lol . . .spot on! [s]I honestly dont think the baby is that "cute"[/s] . . . I think most people (esp d womenfolk) feel some sort of moral obligation to call every baby "cute". Make e grow 1st, that's d important part, lol. parislomo: Gbam! P.S: The "old husband" doesnt look that old to me oh! Or maybe he just looks so good when compared with the old pot-bellied papas found in Nigeria! Ride on Anita with ur flat-tummied husband. 80% of Nigerian women are deprived in that regard |
Lol@support follow up ![]() Kai, 9ja. . .we too like backyard door and long leg. . . |
I was invited for the interview in Portharcourt a few months ago and it was total crap, in my opinion. It's strictly based on commission. Ther's nothing like a basic salary. You arent rquired to come to work everyday, just bring in money and be at the office atleast once a week. Depends on what you are lookin for tho. But for me, it was a total waste of my time and energy! |
~Donald Trump~ ~Oprah~ |
9ja sha! Why do we sensationalise everything sef? So now Goodluck's life is being threatened because of power outages? They r probably jst tryin to frustrate d guy & make him uncomfortable. . . Is it that easy to kill a future president? No be today fowl yansh dey back. . . |
