And this is why corruption is so widespread. It has eaten deep into our veins. When people start getting properly prosecuted because they have done wrong, and not just because of politicking and witch-hunting, then corruption will start being tackled. Until then, all this one NA WASH! This guy don find person trouble and this is the price he has to pay for it |
tijayjay:No be only woke up, na woken up! Smh! @Post: The dead man and his wife couldn't have possibly been innocent. If they were, they wouldn't have been involved in a 5hr gun battle. If the supposedly innocent man placed any value on his wife and unborn baby, he would't have opened fire on the army. Common sense, people! Common sense! |
This is what happens when people marry just because they think it's the right time for them to, and because it's what's expected from them. This is what happens when two people who have zero connection or affection for each other get married. To all ye single desperate people, read and learn. ![]() @Poster: Why did you marry your wife if you had no connection and didn't love her? You think marriage is a joke? Now you're in it and you don't even feel bad for all the evil you have planned out. And to think you have a CHILD!! Have you even considered your kid and the effect this will have on him or her? Kai! Some mothers do have em sha! |
She doesn't look bad for a 25yr old, she has TWO kids already. You people ehn! Smh! Beautiful pics jor! |
My height/ My red lips ![]() |
Anything that involves giving out sensitive information AND sounds urgent (i.e giving deadlines) is so OBVIOUSLY a scam. It's as clear as the blue sky. That people still fall for it amazes me. |
Hello House, I am currently sourcing for information regarding rice farming in Nigeria. If you are a supplier of fertilizers, rice seeds, farm machinery & equipment etc etc, please get in touch with me asap deepsoul33@gmail.com |
tpia@:Kai, Tpia! Were you fed bitter leaf soup as a baby?? You are so unbelievably bitter, negative and vile!May God touch your heart and make you more human! Amen!! P.S: For the sake of commonsense, if she kidnapped the baby, she wouldn't be on NL looking for who to taker her. She'd have found a willing buyer in Lagos. |
jennykadry:I hate to talk based on tribes but. . .Yorubas are one of the most respectful in Nigeria but ironically, they are also the rudest (when they decide to be). And a lot of times, this "respect" is given more out of obligation than genuineness. They bow down and greet you; the moment you turn your back, they do the opposite. . . I'm not making a general statement tho. . .just talking from experiences I've had with some of them |
I think it's more of lack of acceptance. Because you're white, she sees you and your kids as "outsiders". Sometimes, this same treatment is dished out to Nigerian women (of a different tribe) as well. I think it's your husbands responsibility to see that she begins to accept you and your kids as part of her family. In her defense, she might be illiterate and not know any better. . . 8yrs isn't a joke. Talk to your husband about it (without being confrontational) and you both should brainstorm on ways to make this happen. You can also play the fool for now and do the little things like call her regularly just to say hello. This might soften her heart and create familiarity overtime. . .you never know. Good luck ![]() P.S: Your husband should learn to say no to some financial requests, especially the trivial ones. |
Anybody taking any ACCA papers in June? I'm writing F7 and F8 |
I can wake up one day and decide to eat INDOMIE for one full week without thinking of food for anyone else. All that will end one day FOREVER. So till that day comes, I shall enjoy every bit of my indomie-eating days ![]() |
This story has too many versions As at yesterday, I hear he had been re-arrested. Later, I heard his wife and kids have been arrested. Now we are hearing about the Emir's sons. Way too many versions |
Mynd_44:English, brother, English!! Read and understand All I said was "Garri has more carbs than wheat or plantain flour and so I'll choose the ones with less carbs" Where did you see me type "unhealthy". And talk about being better than others? ![]() People like you need to be hit on the head with a hot pan. |
Contrary to popular belief, there are loads of Nigerian women who eat right and exercise adequately. I have so many sexy mamas at my gym (women with 4 or more children) who look good and work hard to keep it that way! As per stopping garri and soup, NEVER!! The best we can do (as I have done) is substitute my garri for something with less carbs (wheat or plantain flour). Constant struggle sha. |
Definitely not younger Preferably not same age More preferably 7 - 10yrs older |
I'm too sad to comment |
Crazy school. Almost frustrated me to madness. I managed to marginally escape by some great miracle Maybe someone who wasnt so lucky decided to blow it up ![]() |
People still do not get the grave implications of this. For people who have to pass all three tolling gates, they'll have to pay THRICE X 2 (exit and entry) So per day: 6 x N120 = N720 7 days x N720 = 5,040 4 weeks X N5,040 = 20,160 12 months X 20,160 = 241,920 Why should people be subjected to paying SO MUCH! The amount per year is even more than some people's house rent. We haven't even factored the cost of fuel (subsidized or unsubsidized), cost of maintaining vehicles etc. In a country where the minimum wage is N18,000, how can a civil servant spend N20,160 every month paying toll fees? And the most annoying part is that the so-called alternative routes are almost non-existent! There is no reliable form of transportation that will enable people to drop their cars at home and take the bus!!! This is just inhumane sha! Haba! |
Thanks to the internet , where I can download just about anything for FREE, I hardly buy pirated CDs anymore. People buy them because they r obviously cheaper, duh? As per difference in quality, I'd say no for the audio CDs but for the DVDs, there are different grades. Some are of better quality than others |
Linger In God's Holy Trinity FUNGI |
Cool driving with you |
Sometimes, old people just want to be in the company of other old people. When my grand dad lived with us, after a year, he said he was too bored and would die of boredom if we don't let him go to the village where he can interact with other old people. He was eventually obliged and was all the happier for it |
oladayo042:I think "Igbobi" is the name of the area where the Orthopedic hospital is located. Okada accidents lead to broken bones and broken bones need orthopedists |
It's an awful thing to do but better than a divorce!! Someone said something about karma, what if the person being left at the altar is a victim of karma? ![]() |
And how many articles would be required per day? If na 10 articles per day, I no go mind. 10 X 400 = 4,000 4,000 X 5 days = 20,000 20,000 X 4 weeks = 80,000 For all those saying it's too small, think again! Ehen poster, how many per day? |
Ah. . . .this thread has increased my fear. I might have to move to Lagos soon but the stressful lifestyles scares the shyt outta me. This thread has not in any way helped my situation. |
I lived alone when I was 21 (NYSC). Went back home and "ran away" at 23. The only way I could achieve that was getting a job in a different town from where my parents stay. Staying alone is NOT easy, my opinion. Especially if you are legit! The bills never stop coming in - food, NEPA card, fuel, security bills, water bills etc etc. It has made me appreciate all my parents did for me till I was 21. Oh, I forgot to mention house rent. . . my dear, you are eating free food and not paying rent and you are tired. I laugh in swahili! Despite the hardship though, I'd rather not stay with my parents, biko. It makes me fiercely independent, financially and otherwise. @OP: Major problem is, you are still in school. You're gonna wanna wait till you're done and can fend for yourself before thinking of moving out. It's a HARSH world out here! Or if you have any available suitors, you can like to choose one right now ![]() P.S: Why are you still in school at 26? You haff tay small oh. . . |
I think Mike Enyiocha is wearing a t-shirt specially designed for the wedding with the couple's pic on it. Show of solidarity, apparently. Make una free the guy! Which kain mumu pink jacket is Muma Gee's The bride has potentials to be a fine babe. But that hair is just so untidy. The weave itself ain't bad, but the hair looks like she's worn it for the past 3 months. Plus a little powder and lip gloss wouldn't have hurt anybody! |
Nigerians sha!! Something good has obviously come out of this, will it kill you people to commend it?! Ahn ahn! ![]() |
Na wa oh!! Nigerian girls are NOT as bad as una dey portray them naw!! ![]() Where have all these guys been meeting girls sef? Motor parks?? ![]() |

You are so unbelievably bitter, negative and vile!
