From the body language of the northern hausa/fulani, it's crystal clear that they are so scared of Nigeria breaking up n them becoming a landlock sahel Savannah landmass with endless catastrophes, the dominance of the Nigeria's security by them I'd a well thought out plan, this is the reason someone like buhari with poor individual capacity n competence but an avid promoter n supporter of northern dominance n supremacy is massively supported while everything is been done to destroy a person like Atiku who is nationalistic in his dealings,I believe this ametokun has shown Tinubu n his kinsmen the kind of people they are toying with,if eventually the ametokun capitulate then the south should just forget it,it should now be clear that the north dread a United south but it's up to the Southerners to find a common ground amongst themselves or laments indefinitely while the north jeer them cheekily.

The evidence presented before the supreme court was that elections took place in those polling units and Uzodinma overwhelming won. PDP and INEC couldn't disprove that. There was no way the Supreme Court would be calling for another election when the facts before her shows that there is a clear winner. The supreme court justices are not magicians. They decide cases on the strength of the evidence presented
you are just dancing round the point I raised while avoiding it completely, the results showed overwhelming victory for uzodima but also proved overwhelming over voting so how do you marry the two?,why can't the new tally be made public by the supreme Court since inec refused because they said it was the supreme Court that did the tally n declarations?

It is like comprehension is your issue.
now it appears we are on same page, you don't expect inec to present what they were required to, that's why I expected the supreme Court to have asked inec to explain why they omitted the results from the 388units,a news piece I read some days back showing the new supreme Court judgement results clearly showed massive over voting that one wonder whether the supreme took notice of that at all, most surprisingly neither the supreme Court not inec is coming forth with the latest results, which ever way I try to look at the whole thing, it's still clear that the court messed up,the best was to have cancelled the whole election but something tells me the whole drama is all about Apc gaining ground in the SE by whatever means.

Absolutely none of the nonsense you wrote is the concern of the supreme court. This was not the appeal before it and if you had gone through the judgement you will see that you just spewed a ton of foolishness in one post.

The appeal was for the return of previously cancelled votes and not voter scrutiny or violence at the PUs or rigging.

If there was rigging or violence which caused INEC to cancel the results why was there no incidence form indicating the reason for cancellation presented before the Supreme court?

If there was one can you produce it for me to see?

INEC focused on the appeal before them from the lower court and Judgement was delivered accordingly and correctly. if you still wish to wail over it then go ahead and keep doing do but if you wish to see and read the full Judgement so your confusion can be cured. then visit this link

it's like you have compression issue,if truly there was no violence, rigging or any electoral malpractice whatsoever, then why did inec cancelled the results?,at least even for record purpose the supreme Court should have inquired from inec,or are you telling me now that inec just forgot about results from 388 polling units?,haba Mr Man.!

Curb your emotions and read and comprehend the court case and the subsequent judgment.

Any sane mind will know 7 supreme court Justices can never be compromised at the same time. Agreed those results might have been forged but the onus of proof lies on the respondents. Like its said; He who allege must prove. The supreme court only worked with facts presented before her. Supreme court judges don't dwell on sentiments and emotions.
So even as those results clearly showed over voting, you don't think the supreme Court should have cancelled the results as a whole instead of declaring uzodima,is it right then that a fraudulent evidence should be tendered to support one's case n for the court to accept such?.

PoliticsRe: Jime Vs Ortom: Supreme Court Hears Jime’s Appeal Against Ortom Today by Deepthoughts: 1:55pm On Jan 21, 2020
LasgidiOnline:
The Supreme Court will today Tuesday 21st January 2019 hear the petition filed by the Benue State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last election, Mr.Emmanuel Jime who is challenging the victory of Governor Samuel Ortom of the People Democratic Party, PDP.

Hearing of the suit was contained in a hearing notice sent to the parties in the matter by the Director of Litigation of the Apex Court.

According to the notice, the Supreme Court would on the same day hear the cross appeal filed by Governor Ortom.

LASGIDI ONLINE recalls that the appeal which was earlier scheduled to be heard on Monday, January 13, 2020 alongside those of Kano, Sokoto, Plateau, Bauchi and Imo States was later adjourned to Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad further adjourned hearing in the appeals for Benue, Plateau and Bauchi, saying, their appeals would elapse on January 26, 2020.

Since the shift in date, supporters of both parties and candidates have in the last few days taken to the social media to dish out analysis as to why the ruling of the court would swing in the favour.

Who do you think will win at the Apex Court today?

https://www.lasgidionline.com.ng/2020/01/supreme-court-hears-jimes-appeal-against-ortom-today.html
Ortom may not be performing up to expectations but for standing up vehemently against the hienous agenda of the callous fulanis,I want him to remain n consolidate on the resistance, the effect of allowing the fulanis to take hold of benue is too dangerous to contemplate,by whatever method jime lost the elections,in fact jime/Apc also did engaged in malpractices, jime was even reported to have been arrested on election day for electoral offences, jime is certainly going to be a stooge as he can not be given the governorship without preconditions,Akume is really a big disgrace.

I dont think his argument holds water. The supreme court could rule all these state security agencies are illegal. The sec 214 (1) of the constitution says no other police force can be established. The question is what defines a police force. I think item 68 of exclusive list would give the FG the win in court.

It's not like federal government enforces all the laws it has under its exclusive list like the minimum wage. When states pay dont pay workers the minimum wage who goes to jail or gets fined?

These constitution should just be amended. It seem a majority of states want decentralized policing. It's just as dumb to centralize prisons and fire arms in hands of federal government.

Constitution exclusive list:

2. Arms, ammunition and explosives.
45. Police and other government security services established by law.
48. Prisons
68. Any matter incidental or supplementary to any matter mentioned elsewhere in this list.

Section 214. (1) There shall be a police force for Nigeria, which shall be known as the Nigeria Police Force, and subject to the provisions of this section no other police force shall be established for the Federation or any part thereof.
Then it's better all such security bodies are cancelled than allowing the federal government of be buhari/Apc to biasly outlaw others n allow others to operate out of sheer sentiments n bigotry.

Some of these Northern leaders are something else.

When the Fulani herdsmen are slaughtering people in their farms, IBB was nowhere to be found to condemn their atrocities.

Now the SW took a step further in trying to curb the menace and yet IBB want us to believe that they erred in creating Amotekun network.

What IBB proposed can still be done right now. One of his proposal is that the SW governors should have lobbied the FG for some funds to cater for Amotekun workforce before creating the network.

However, the FG can still fund it right now since the SW governors already took a step. The main problem here is that the North is starting to get more uneasy for what Amotekun stands for. What do they fear in Amotekun?

Lastly, everyone should know that IBB is not a friend of the Yorubas, so his opinion belongs to the trash.
The north are damn scared of the south getting truly organized as that would certainly attract the support of a large area of the north Central n there by checkmating, deminishing or stopping the difference n influence of the north in this country which is the only thing they live for.
