Nurnberg trial was like 60 years ago. that is okay.I don't think it's possible because he acted under diplomatic immunity. He may not have the immunity now but for the fact he did it as a democratic president will be a big plus for him. I heard he threatened Biafrans with the same immidiately after the civil war. Obasanjo is a cannibal. |

John Edwards Caught In A beverly Hills Hotel John Edwards has been caught coming out of the hotel where his alleged mistress and her child were staying at 2:40 in the morning. The National Enquirer is reporting that John Edwards was caught leaving the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles by their reporters, having spent time in the company of Rielle Hunter and her baby, who they allege is his love child. When reporters approached John Edwards, he hid in a bathroom for 15 minutes until security rescued him. The National Enquirer first printed the allegations of John Edward's mistress and child at the end of 2007. At the time Edwards said, "The story is false. It's completely untrue, ridiculous. Anyone who knows me knows that I have been in love with the same woman for 30-plus years." Rielle Hunter also denies the claims. "The innuendos and lies that have appeared on the Internet and in the National Enquirer concerning John Edwards are not true, completely unfounded and ridiculous." The rumors about John Edwards' extra-marital liaisons have been circulating for months, but the print media wouldn't touch it, not with so little evidence and not during his presidential campaign. But the campaign is over and the National Enquirer say they caught him hot-footing it from the hotel. After failing to get the presidential nomination, John Edwards was hoping to take the Barack Obama's vice-president slot, but you have to wonder if this mud that has slid from him before will finally stick? http://timworstall.typepad.com/timworstall/2008/07/john-edwards-af.html |

hahahaha, you have failed to look at the total picture again. How many people do you do you know in this world that were born in the garden, as an adult, without a father and a mother, just from dirt, like Adam? Let me do better for you, how many people do you know in this world that were born in the garden, as a woman adult, without asexually from a small piece from her father, like Eve?That's the difference between God and man. God can do what man can't do. Believe brother before the zion train gets past you. The soul of non muslims will go to hell. You did not know that before? You have a world to learn, my man!Hmmm, are you saying that all christians, buddhists, hindus, judaists etc will go to hell and heaven will only be filled with moslems? Why would a christian go to hell? Because he imbibes the gospel of Jesus or because he does not worship the religion of the tribes of ishmael? I never knew I am hell bound. PS I'm a lady and a hot one for that matter, not the type you can cover like eleha. ![]() |

South-West State donated ‘evil forest’ for police housing scheme Chris Agbambu, Abuja Monday, July 28, 2008 THE Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro, at the weekend, urged all state Commissioners of Police to ensure that they put pressure on their various state governors to ensure that the governors donate land and issue Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to the force to enable them build houses for serving policemen. The order was issued by Okiro at the weekend, just as it was disclosed that one of the South-West state governors has donated a 200 hectare “evil forest” to the police to build houses for its men in the state. Speaking at the monthly meeting of the Police management team with state Commissioners of Police, Okiro also disclosed that the Lagos State governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, recently gave him a gift of 3 hectares of land in Lekki which he said he rejected. He however, directed the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to go back to the governor, accept the offer on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force, and convert it to the purpose of the housing scheme. The police boss used the occasion to warn the police commissioners not to succumb to pressures by developers who are to build the houses on behalf of the police, to getting the C of Os issued in the name of such developer as the police would lose the right to such lands. http://odili.net/news/source/2008/jul/28/613.html |
NDLEA nabs hair-dresser with cocaine in wig By Chinwe Iwuchukwu, 07.28.2008 A 34-year-old hair dresser, Ahmed Ahmed Joseph Joy, was recently nabbed by officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), at the Lagos Airport for concealing cocaine in wigs. Joy was arrested during screening of passengers on Iberia Flight from Lagos to Madrid, at the central screening point, at about 6:30 p.m., and tested postive to cocaine weighing 855 grams. NDLEA Commander at the Lagos Airport, Mr Victor Cole-showers, said various tricks applied by drug traffickers have made officers to be very careful when conducting screening. “We do not leave any stone unturned, because drugs can be hidden anywhere,” he said. During interrogation, the suspect who is married to a Spanish said she was afraid to swallow the drug for fear of possible death and that her sponsor, a young man of about 34-years, offered to fix the drug on her wig in a hotel room. According to the Edo State born hair dresser who is a naturalised Spaniard, indebtedness led her into the criminal act. “I borrowed 13,000 Euros to start a salon business in Almeria, Spain, where I live with my husband, but due to low patronage, I found it difficult to pay back. I have been approached since last year to do drugs but I said no. It is the debt that made me to agree when the man called me again last month. I think it is devil's work,” Joy said. Joy, who would have been paid 4,000 Euros for carrying the drug, will soon be charged to court. http://odili.net/news/source/2008/jul/28/213.html |
International court explains failure to try Obasanjo over Odi killings From Lemmy Ughegbe, Abuja SEVERAL years after the mass killing in Odi, Bayelsa State was allegedly ordered by the then President Olusegun Obasanjo, the International Criminal Court (ICC) yesterday offered an explanation for not investigating the former President's role in the dastardly act which has left a scar on the people. advertisement ICC's Deputy Prosecutor, Mrs. Fatou Bensouda, who was in Nigeria to attend a judicial colloquium marking the 10th anniversary of the Rome Statute of the Court in Abuja, spoke with reporters before her departure to The Hague, Netherlands, noting that the Odi killings happened before the Court was established. Bensouda explained: "The ICC does not have a retroactive jurisdiction to prosecute offences committed before it was created. ICC is an independent, permanent court that tries persons accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. But such crimes can only be looked into if they were committed when the court came into force." The court was established by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, which was adopted in Rome, Italy on July 17, 1998 by the United Nations Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court but it was officially established on July 1, 2002 after 60 states had become parties, whereas the Odi killings took place in 1999. The prosecutor also described as a lesson for African leaders the application, which the prosecutors filed for a warrant of arrest of the President of Sudan, Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir. According to her, the era of impunity for African leaders is gradually coming to an end. She explained that in all the cases in which the court had intervened in Africa, it was at the instance of African leaders. "The only exception is Sudan which was at the instance of the United Nations Security Council," she added. The court had in the past issued warrants of arrest against some nationals of Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and the Central African Republic. ICC is an independent, permanent court that investigates and prosecutes persons accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, namely genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo had on July 14 presented evidence showing that Sudanese President, Al Bashir committed the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur. Three years after the Security Council requested him to investigate in Darfur and based on the evidence collected, the prosecutor has concluded that there are reasonable grounds to believe that Al-Bashir is criminally responsible in relations to 10 counts of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The prosecution evidence shows that Al-Bashir masterminded and implemented a plan to destroy in substantial part the Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa groups. For over five years, Al-Bashir has denied the crimes. He says rape does not exist in Sudan. Meanwhile, Lagos lawyer, Mr. Festus Keyamo and leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo have filed an application before the Chief Magistrate's Court in Abuja asking the court to compel the Inspector-General of Police, to produce the report of his investigations into the killings in Odi and Tiv. The motion on notice is asking for the court's order compelling the Inspector-General of Police to appear before the court for the purpose of submitting his report in respect of the investigation ordered by the court earlier this year into the alleged mass killings in Odi and Tiv "by the Obasanjo's government." The motion dated July 21, 2008, according to Keyamo, is to ensure full compliance with the order of the court. Chief Magistrate Uche Ezinne had on May 19, 2008 ordered the inspector general of police to investigate the killings based on the application filed by the duo. http://odili.net/news/source/2008/jul/28/13.html |
hahahaha, are you attacking the immaculate conception again? How many people do you know in this world that were born asexually?A person like you is often referred to as fairytale teller. If you believe that his blood was shed for you at the calvary, it simply betrays your laziness in taking care of your own effort in acquiring salvation from God directly. Regardless of what you say against the other prophets of God, Jesus will have no impart on their and their true followers entering paradise. Jesus reminds us that by himself he can do zero, Zilch, nadda, but it is god that allows him and gives him power to do any all the things that he did. The same way that Moses was able to do things by the power of God. Question: Since you have ascertained that muslims believe in heaven and hell, what will happen to the souls of non muslims when they die(from the islamic perspective)? |
What is the reason for moving them around?City cleansing. they know that when you move a mentally deranged person 200 miles from home, he/she may not find his/her way back. |
I will live until the day I stop breathing. TB Joshua should go and cure multitudes of people with this ailment if he has the powerMind control is a powerful tool and very few people have it. You never can tell what you will do in that state till(God forbid) you find yourself in one. You wonder why even professors with DSC degrees eat faeces in time of trouble as long as the pastor or spiritual healer say so? |
True!!!! But, do you know that sometimes these mentally ill patients in nigeria are moved from one location to another at night maybe by local govt officials? Don't be surprised that over half of the mentally ill in Osogbo are not even from Osun state or it's environs.Studies do show there are alternate treatments for mental ailments as it is all the mind and not really a disease per say but a disorder. I advocate any therapy that has been tested as evident in helping individuals with this illness including medications that exist in the western world. |
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - An unemployed man accused of opening fire with a shotgun and killing two people at a Unitarian church apparently targeted the congregation out of hatred for its liberal social policies, police said Monday. Knoxville Police Chief Sterling Owen IV said a letter had been been recovered from the SUV of Jim D. Adkisson, 58, by investigators seeking clues about the motive behind the attack. Authorities said he was an apparent stranger to the Tennessee church where gunfire punctuated a children's performance based on the musical "Annie." Two people were killed and seven wounded Sunday. "It appears that what brought him to this horrible event was his lack of being able to obtain a job, his frustration over that and his stated hatred of the liberal movement," Owen said at a news conference. No children were hurt, but five people remained in serious or critical condition Monday. A burly usher who died is being hailed as a hero for shielding others from gunfire Sunday at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Witnesses said some of the men present tackled a man who pulled a shotgun from a guitar case before at least three blasts rang out. Adkisson, who is charged with first-degree murder, remained jailed Monday under "close observation" on $1 million bail, authorities said. The Unitarian-Universalist church promotes progressive social work, including advocacy of women and gay rights. The Knoxville congregation also has provided sanctuary for political refugees, fed the homeless and founded a chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, according to its Web site. 'Had 76 rounds with him' Owen said the letter indicated Adkisson, who neighbors said had previously worked as a truck driver, did not expect to leave the church alive. He added the man also reported having no family or next-of-kin. "He certainly intended to take a lot of casualties," Owen said. "He had 76 rounds with him." https://msnbcmedia1.msn.com/j/ap/6487dbbd-cddb-4a8a-ba8d-f5b959bb2af6.small.jpg Police said Adkisson carried a 12-guage semiautomatic shotgun into the church in a guitar case, but it appeared no specific person was targeted in the church. A search of his house also turned up a .38 caliber handgun, Owen added. Investigators were reviewing several home video recordings of the children's performance for any evidence. Owen said police don't plan to release those videos and they did not make public a copy of Adkisson's letter. Unitarians have roots in a movement that rejected Puritan orthodoxy in New England. Although the outlook and beliefs of individual Unitarian churches can vary dramatically, most congregations retain a deep commitment to social justice, which has led them to embrace liberal positions over the years. Unitarians were among the first to ordain women, support the civil rights movement and back gay rights. The shooting started as about 200 people watched a show put on by 25 children. Church member Mark Harmon said he was in the first row when he heard "an incredibly loud bang." He thought the noise was part of the play, then he heard another bang and saw a woman bleeding as he dove for cover. "It seems so unreal," Harmon said. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25872864/ |
They at least need the drugs to stabilize their condition so they do not get worse. If i had the money I would do it.Is it the fake orthodox medicine in our markets that will make them more deranged? I wonder why we completely dumped traditional or homoepathic medicine in Nigeria because they seem to be the only authentic source of medication in Nigeria. |
They simply lump the mentally ill with the homeless and destitute.@Morpheus, nobody lumps them together. It's just that our society is survival of the fittest and where will they go? If you are homeless in Naija, be rest assured you'll dine with mad people. |
Why are they harassing innocent guys changing money? They will probably try and seize all his money. What of all the Hausa guys changing money in any Lagos market you go to? Are they fully registered? This is a common crime in Nigeria. it is equivalent to paying Rojer to Police to let your car pass. I guess he was making too much for them.I wonderooo; How can they turn blind eye on ibori, Odili, Obasanjo, babangida that give their girlfriends N12M to cook one pot of soup and arrest a husssling young man? |
