As someone who is a born again Christian and who truly believes in God, it is completely wrong for you to work in such companies even though you might not be working in any of the deparments dealing with the production of alcohol or the ciggaretes but think of it this way, other young believers outside might misconceive the reason why you work there and might not even know you don't deal directly with such products hence the might be mislead by your actions which eventually becomes a sin to God.

First of all, we are not discussing the first person here, rather, we are talking about the 2nd person. From your analysis, it'll only be proper for a christian to drink alcohol by him/herself and improper for him/her to offer another person alcohol because he/she does not know their absorption rate.

Therefore, when christians throw parties like weddings etc, it's advisable for them not to serve alcohol in it's entirety because there is no way they will know every guests absorption rate.

On the issue of the first person even, he/she is still limited because alcohol concentration varies and it's absorption is dependent on other factors like health, temperature, atm pressure and mental state.

There is no such thing as 'non-alcoholic wine' or 'fruit wine', that is a wholly Nigerian conception of highest deceit. Once it is called 'wine' it MUST as a RULE contain alcohol.

I don't agree 100% because you can pasteurize grape to create "wine" that has no alcohol. The word "wine" is not necessarily synonymous with alcohol.

The major reason why christians abhor alcohol is the absorption rate. The quantity that will make me drunk is different from the quantity that can get you drunk. So, why serve someone a bottle of 12OZ beer when you are not really sure he/she cannot get drunk from that?
